We're heading back to Temperance Falls for a second chance at love...
She’s ready to move on High school reunions are supposed to be fun. Unfortunately, mine starts with a storm that traps me in a house with my newly ex-boyfriend...and his hot-as-sin stepbrother. Luke kept in touch with me over the years, but not like this. Not with his hands, his fingers...his mouth. If my ex finds out, it’s more than just a friendship on the line. I could destroy a family.
He’s done holding back Hannah’s been off-limits for twelve long years, ever since my stepbrother swooped in and claimed her before I could. As if coveting from afar isn’t bad enough, now I have to suffer through our ten-year reunion watching them together. But things aren’t as perfect in paradise as it would seem. One overheard conversation between them, and I’m ready to throw caution to the wind. If my stepbrother can’t make her scream, I’m more than happy to get the job done.
London Hale's books can be read in any order or as standalones. Looking for something quick, filthy, and taboo with a guaranteed HEA and no cheating? The couples of Temperance Falls deliver.
London Hale is the combined pen name of writing besties Ellis Leigh and Brighton Walsh. Between them, they’ve published more than thirty books in the contemporary romance, paranormal romance, and romantic suspense genres. Ellis is a USA Today bestselling author who loves coffee, thinks green Skittles are the best, and prefers to stay in every weekend. Brighton is multi-published with Berkley, St. Martin’s Press, and Carina Press. She hates coffee, thinks green Skittles are the work of the devil, and has never heard of a party she didn’t want to attend. Don’t ask how they became such good friends or work so well together—they still haven’t figured it out themselves.
Luke has lusted and loved Hannah for 12 years. Yup, that’s a very long time. So what stopped him? Well, for the last 12 years, give or take, she’s been with his stepbrother. And as Luke is fiercely loyal and actually has morals and integrity, he never tried to poach. Even though he knew his brother couldn’t treat her right. Even though he had made it clear 12 years ago that he wanted her. His brother had absolutely no problem swooping in and claiming her before Luke could, but Luke wasn’t that kind of guy. So as long as Hannah seemed happy, he was happy. So what happens when everyone is reunited after 12 years and Luke realizes that Hannah wasn’t as happy as she seemed? Heh heh, tons of sexy times!!
London Hale is a new author to me, but I will definitely be keeping my eye out for future books. This was smut, but it was classy. I liked that there was an easy-to-follow plot and that the characters were easy to like and had simple backgrounds. Reunion was a quick read but I for one found it immensely satisfying.
Release Date: August 24, 2017 Genre: Erotica POV: Dual - 1st person Heat: 4.5 out of 5 Type: Standalone
The storyline held my attention all throughout, it was well written, the characters were likable, relatable and their chemistry was smoking! I loved Luke and Hannah together, the connection between them was strong, I loved how protective and how sure Luke was that Hannah was the girl for him. It was time he stood up to his douche of a step-brother and show his hand, Hannah was his girl!
I'm really enjoying London Hale's storytelling, each book has been very entertaining and I highly recommend them all.
Reunion was a sweet, dirty-sexy, fun read that I enjoyed. It introduced me to an awesome bromance that I want more of as well as a character that I couldn't help but dislike as soon as he walked on the page and don't want more of unless terrible things happen to him.
I loved watching the hero and heroine navigate their way to each other. I love this writing duo's style and can't wait for more from them.
Story was released serial style in the author's newsletter
It was just as awesome a read the second time around. I so loved that epilogue it has my heart singing and swooning.

Luke has been in love with Hannah for 12 years. He would have made a move sooner but she was taken…by his step brother. And Luke has strong morals and wont poach, even though his step brother knew he was interested in Hannah and made sure to make a move on Hannah before Luke could. Luke’s step brother is a putz, a jerk and a user. He doesn’t know why Hannah is still with Luke but if she is happy, then he doesn’t want to cause trouble. Only thing is, Hannah isn’t happy. She hasn’t been happy in a long time and before making the trip back home , she and her boyfriend Barry broke up. They didn’t tell anyone and Barry acts like they are still together. Hannah doesn’t know why she doesn’t speak up but he is all she has known and the way he treats her, she thinks he is all she could get…. Until Luke. Their love story is beautiful and so romantic and steamy!! I love how Luke shows Hannah that she is loved and desired! Luke doesn’t let Barry walk over him and how this book ended was fantastic!! Hannah and Luke has a perfect love story…they deserve getting their HEA for the heart and heat is strong in this story!!
My Rating: 4.7 stars ***** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
A fun and quick book with lots of sexy times. This is a shorter read with very likeable characters, an ex you will hate and two people meant to be together finally coming together!
This was such a fun and awesome book! Luke and Hannah were blazing hot, and I adore friends to lovers romance.
Ever since high school Luke has had it bad for Hannah, but his d-bag stepbrother Barry swooped in and asked her out before Luke could. London Hale did an amazing job of making us hate Barry. Haha! There aren't enough negative words in the dictionary to describe my loathing of him. He is the biggest A-hole imaginable, and the disrespect he shows to Hannah and others is jaw dropping. He was definitely a love to hate character in this book, which added to the fun in my opinion.
Everyone comes back into town for their 10 year high school reunion. Barry is now her EX (praise Jesus Hallelujah) and Luke is done waiting to go after his girl. They all get stuck at a friends house due to a storm, so Luke seizes the opportunity. Hannah doesn't have a clue what it's like to be treated well by a real man, and Luke goes full force showing her what she's been missing. They still have a lot to figure out, but their road to discovery is oh so satisfying. It was awesome to see Hannah find the courage to take what she wants, and Luke helping her build her confidence was so sweet. And hot!
I was introduced to the work of author, London Hale when I read this book. The book reeled me in from the beginning and I was instantly hooked. The story is a friends to lovers romance. The characters in the book are very well developed and the writing of the story is amazing. The book centers around the characters of Hannah, a nurse who is in a relationship with Barry her high school sweetheart and Luke who is Barry's stepbrother and also Hannah's high school friend. They are all brought back together with their impending 10 year reunion. Barry and Hannah have recently broke up and Luke is about to realize he may finally have a chance to act on his feelings for Hannah. The chemistry between Hannah and Luke made me tingle it was so scorchingly hot. There are sexual situations throughout the story but they are written in such good taste and play a crucial part in the book. The only thing that disappointed me about this book was it was too short. I would definitely recommend this book and rate it 5 stars. - By Julie
Reunion was like all London Hale books, a quick but dirty read.
Who says High School Reunions have to suck - not Hannah and Luke - that's for sure. When these two find themselves trapped in a house (okay so they aren't exactly alone in there) during a storm on the weekend of their Reunion - it kicks off the start of something more. There's just a few minor hiccups to work through; namely Luke's step-brother who just so happens to be Hannah's on again/off again - no so totally off ex-boyfriend.
While these two sneak around, stealing kisses and having sexy romps, there's a whole lot more feelings involved. Luke's finally putting himself out there and admitting the feelings he's had for Hannah for a long time and Hannah's finally admitting to herself she deserves better than what she had been getting.
I loved that this story was more than a typical reunion romp - there were feelings involved, there was drama, and ultimately there were issues to work out to make things truly last - but as each part unfolded, there was an undeniable chemistry between these two and a pull to see them figure it all out and find a way to happiness.
4.5 stars for these two lovers. Reunion is a fast paced novella about Hannah and Luke who are attending their high school’s 10th reunion in Temperance Falls. Hannah is Luke’s step-brother Barry’s off again on again girlfriend, whom he’s secretly been in love with for 12 years. He lost his chance to win Hannah’s heart when he told his brother how he felt about her. Barry stole her before Luke could ask her out. But, Barry is a douchecanoe and an a***ole, he treats Hannah badly, walking all over her and cheating on her. A opportune thunderstorm causes Luke, Barry, Hannah and their friends to be stuck on a small island for 2 days with no way off. When Luke overhears a conversation between Hannah and Barry, he decides enough is enough and his time has come to win Hannah’s love. Hannah is sick of Barry’s mistreatment and has no intention of going back to his bed this time and when Luke finally shows his true feeling she is more than willing to let him show her how a real man should treat a woman. Is this just a one weekend fling or do they have the stuff to make a real go of things. Pick up your copy today and find out.
You're in for a sexy, sweet, smutty treat with Reunion!
Hannah is home for her high school reunion, but during a raging storm she gets trapped in a house with her ex and his stepbrother, Luke. She's always been attracted to him, but was dating his stepbrother. Luke put Hannah in the off-limits category, but now things are different.
So, taboo? Not really. The chemistry is off the chart. The sex... five alarm hot! I enjoyed the short, slow burn that built as Hannah and Luke worked their way to each other. The story was good with the perfect mix of conflict and relationship. I love this duo's writing style.
If you're looking for a fast, sexy read, then Reunion will satisfy your needs.
✔️ Dual POVs (Hannah x Luke) ✔️ Set in fictional Temperance Falls island town ✔️ Open-door, contemporary romance (4/5 🌶️) ✔️ Tropes: Second-chance romance, forbidden romance, forced proximity
Luke has loved Hannah since high school. The only problem is that she’s dating his stepbrother. They get stuck together before their high school reunion, and Luke makes his move! Will the relationship last once the reunion is over? (Spoiler: YES!)
The major problem is that I cannot figure out why Luke was stuck at the friends’ house, too, since he apparently lives nearby. It bothered me the whole story.
Hot damn…this tale will make you take a second look at that invitation for your high school reunion…
I don’t think I have ever met someone that actually looked forward to their high school reunion…though I am sure the elusive few are out there. This sweet and seductive tale of a long delayed union will make even the staunchest homebody think twice about attending their own. Luke has loved Hannah for thirteen years. Telling his stepbrother about his feelings was the first mistake…the second was not going after her anyway. When his stepbrother went after Hannah first, Luke put his family loyalty first and made Hannah off limits. Though he and Hannah remained close friends, Luke put his true feelings aside for those of his brother. When an overheard conversation turns the tables on him, Luke decides all bets are off. His stepbrother has always been a douche, but the revelation that he couldn’t even make Hannah come…Luke couldn’t let that stand. His girl deserved the best, and he was definitely up to the task. The chemistry that explodes between them is volcanic, and once they get a taste neither one of them can go back.
This was such a seductive tale of star-crossed lovers finally finding their way to each other. The ladies of London Hale have created a wonderful tale of longing, friendship, loyalty, and love. The plot and storyline were unique, well thought out, and executed beautifully. The character development was spectacular. I loved Luke and Hannah. They were so real, so believable, so relatable. Hannah was such a sweet soul, who cared more about others than herself, and was always sacrificing herself for others. The way the stepbrother treated her was abhorrent, and I personally wanted to castrate him. Luke was the epitome of tatted up good guy. A complete dreamboat, he put the needs and wants of those he cared about above his own. The depth of his ability to love and his undying loyalty was stunning. The overwhelming sexual heat of this story seeps through from the hot as hell cover to the very last page. I will be looking forward to the next release from these talented authors.
I was truly excited when I saw the blurb for Reunion, until I got to the end of it. I am a angst and romance kind of girl, so I went in thinking there would be no chemistry or drama because of the lack of cheating. Man was I wrong! Hale delivers and amazing story of unrequited love as well as enough family drama to probably write a whole different book. Reunion is not so much about Luke and his crappy brother, but more focused on all the crap Hannah and Luke have to go through in order to be together.
Luke, is fiercely loyal to his family. Although he has loved Hannah for as long as he can remember he never gives into these desires because of his step-brothers relationship with her. Luke will stop at nothing to ensure that Hannah is happy, but when he discovers that her and his brother's relationship is not as happy as it seemed he will stop at nothing to make her is.
Hannah has been with the same man for as long as she can remember. It really was not a conscious decision to let him treat her the way he did, but more so the desire to a routine. Not all habits are good, and Hannah had to learn that the hard way. Now that she is home for their High School reunion she has discovered that their have been other men that are willing to ensure her happiness. She just has to be able to let her guard down and let them love her the way she deserves.
This is a short and steamy read with a lot of heart. Luke and Hannah's story, all be it a smutty one, gives all of us hope that sometimes things work out the way they should in the end. Sometimes we just have to wait for our dreams to come true. This is a sure-fire hot and steamy HEA if I could ever recommend one. Sure fire way to get you smut on while sitting at poolside.

FINAL DECISION: I liked the couple here, but hated, hated, the ex and how Hannah acted around him. It diminished my liking for the story because of how terrible the scenes with Hannah and her ex were.
THE STORY: Luke has wanted Hannah for twelve years, but she has been in a relationship with his stepbrother. As long as Hannah was happy, Luke wasn't going to mess up things between them. When Hannah, Luke, and his stepbrother are all staying together at a friend's house for a high school reunion, things become complicated. Hannah ended her relationship with her ex before making the trip, but staying together in one place makes him believe she will come back to him because she has so many times before. When Luke realizes that he has an opportunity with Hannah, he is determined to take the chance. That story choice diminished my enjoyment of this story.
OPINION: I liked the couple here. The unrequited longing these two have for one another was great. When they get together they are sweet and hot combined. The story was fine. What I really didn't like was the ex storyline. He is just terrible and Hannah acted like a doormat with him. The problem is that the two of them were together for a really long time. I just didn't see what she could see in the ex. If she had changed and gotten a spine before she and Luke got together, I would be happier. I just thought that she needed some backbone before getting into a new relationship. Her willingness to take what is emotional abuse at the hands of the ex needed more than just getting into a new relationship.
WORTH MENTIONING: This is a short story of about 80 pages.
CONNECTED BOOKS: REUNION is the tenth book in the Temperance Falls series. The books take place in the same town but are only loosely connected so this book works as a standalone.
This is a hot short read that will leave your panties wet , Reunion would be my second book by London Hale and I know I'll be reading more in the future . Adored Hannah and Luke they had really intense sexual tension and once they stop resisting one another lets just say super hot and what finally broke the camel's back was a thin wall and 12 years of pint up attraction . Luke is very loyal to someone who really doesn't deserve it and once he realizes he can't hold back I totally started cheering him on he's protective , funny ,smart , swoon worthy and as I said loyal . Hannah is such a great heroine when she finally stood up for herself and stopped taking crap from her ex and his verbal blows there was a lot of you go girls going on . They are very passionate the sex scenes were really steamy and with the lustful gazes they through at one another I needed a bit of a cool down . The villain defiantly gets whats coming to him and his multiplicative ways wish a little more had happen but it was good enough . Can't wait to read more by this author copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero = 10 heroine = 10 secondary characters = 9 Chemistry = 10 steam = 10 romance = 9 humor = 5 darkness level = 3 enjoyment = 10 angst = 3 action = 4 story line = 10 mystery = 3 character development = 10 pacing = 10 Plot = 10 cover = 10 stars = 5 author = 9 would I recommend this book = yes would I re read this book = yes would I read future books by this author = yes
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Reunion by London Hale.
Delightfully entertaining with a heat index of 110*. Just can't get enough of London Hale's books! I can't help but devour them as soon as I get one. Seriously, I just finished this one and I'm ready and craving her next one.
Luke has been in love with Hannah for 10 years but instead of showering her with that love he has been miserable watching her with his *ssh*l* stepbrother, Barry. 10 long years of wanting her, longing for her, fantasizing about her and loving her with all his heart.
Hannah has been almost as miserable as Luke, enduring all the cr*p that Barry has dished out at her. Selfishness, cheating, verbally abusive, inconsiderate and lousy in bed! Hannah has finally had enough and told Barry it was over. But when Hannah shows up on Temperance Island for her 10 year HS reunion, Barry is there and acts like they are still together.
When Luke hears Hannah tell Barry it truly is over this time, he decides it is time to make his move on Hannah. Will Hannah be receptive? Does Luke stand a chance of winning Hannah and her love? Will Barry convince Hannah to take him back? If Luke and Hannah get together, how will Barry react?
Okay, I’ll try again? What the heck just happened? I think I just short-circuited something – stop laughing *pouts* I think I’m starting to show my age. All this hotness isn’t good for a person. Nah *shakes head*, scratch that, of course it is.
I, personally, wouldn’t say that this is a second chance love story. More of a ‘I’ve bided my time, and she’s not getting away from me again!’ sort of story. Luke is Alpha to the core. Oh, and he does this lean, ‘crowding her in’ thing – brain cells – POOF!
Luscious, lickable Luke, as he shall now be known, is the type of guy that would cause your panties to incinerate with just one look. Hannah is one lucky, lucky girl. Me – jealous? Pfft, I don’t know what could’ve given you that idea *whistles*
Hannah finally realises she’s worth more than how her ex treated her, and Luke is just the man to give her full, in-depth practical demonstrations – repeatedly! *snorts*
This was my first visit to Temperance Falls, and it won’t be my last. Now, about those missing brain cells, any ideas on how I can be reunited with them? Somebody… anybody….

Y'all, London Hale has done it again. Who's surprised? I'm certainly not. Reunion was first published as a serial in their weekly newsletter and I read about half of it that way. Those installments were, no lie, the highlight of my Monday. Then I got impatient waiting for the next part – a fairly common occurrence for me — and I stopped reading it altogether, knowing it was going to be released as a full-length story. I LOVED Luke and Hannah in the serial version, but I loved them even more this way when I could get the entire story in one sitting. Yes, I'm greedy.
A high school reunion is the perfect set up for great romance and I loved the story London Hale crafted here. I am such a huge fan of the unknown/unrequited crush thing. Luke was totally freaking amazing and swoony and dirty and UNF. Hannah definitely deserved a man like him instead of a POS like Barry. Ugh. He was such a douchebag. I wasn't at all sorry to see Hannah kick him to the curb and move onto MUCH greener pastures. Luke and Hannah had amazing chemistry and it was so easy to root for them. They were easily likable characters, both together and separately.
I've said it before and I'll say it again — I freaking love London Hale's books. I hope they never stop writing together. Their books are the perfect bite-size bit of hot and filthy fun with substance. If you need me, I'll just be sitting over here waiting on their next one...
I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

"When's the last time someone made you scream, Hannah?"
"Jesus, you taste good. I could eat you for every meal and still not get enough."
"And if you believe you're going to find someone who'll love you harder than I will, you're wrong. I've loved you for more than a decade, sunshine. I'm not stopping anytime soon."
This is my second book from this duo writing team. I loved how my attraction was completely drawn in by the time I finished the first page of this book. I didn't want to stop reading either. I read this in 2 settings!!
Hannah has been dating Barry, who has been a jerk of a man. Never really treating her like a man should treat a woman. Barry's stepbrother, Luke, is happy to show Hannah exactly how she should be treated. Hannah came home to Temperance Falls for their class reunion. When Hannah is stuck in a friend's house by a storm, she realizes that Barry is not the one for her. Luke overhears Hannah and Barry's conversation about a problem she has with him (Must read to find out!! It is a good one!). Luke wants to help her in anyway he can!
I can not wait to read more from this writing duo! If you want a fun sexy as sin book, then this is it!!
☆☆☆☆☆ I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Recommend this book? Yes! Author? Yes! Read more from this author? Yes!
This was a truly adorable and sexy read. I want so much more of Luke, it's ridiculous.
After not seeing each other for over a decade, Luke and Hannah are brought together for a family reunion. Of course, it turns into so much more when Luke decides to make his feelings known.
I loved how Luke was able to pull Hannah out of her shell, sexually. I liked that while he talked dirty to her, he also encouraged her. It was quite entertaining to see their relationship develop.
I didn't like that Hannah put so much consideration into Barry. I also didn't like that when the 'lie' came out, she went so hard on Luke. Basically she's a hypocrite considering she didn't entirely cut Barry out, she still went to him in need.
Overall, another winner from London Hale. I look forward to more.
Amount of sex 4 / 5 How explicit 4.5 / 5 Story 4 / 5 Overall: 4 / 5
Reunion is a hot and sexy standalone novella set in London Hale’s world of Temperance Falls. This is the first Temperance Falls book that I have read and I had no issues with following along. Reunion is fast, steamy and dirty and the perfect story when you are in the mood for a quickie!
Hannah is heading home for her ten-year high school reunion. Barry (her on-again / off-again boyfriend), Luke (Barry’s stepbrother) and she are all heading to a friend’s house the night before the event. Unexpectedly, a big storm hits, which floods and shuts the bridge down to the mainland. This forces them to all stay the night and then drama escalates!
It's a hot one, so have a change of panties available!
In the true style of the author, this was a fast and hot read. Luke and Hannah get reunited at their 10 year reunion. Hanna is Luke's step brother's ex girlfriend, and Luke always fancied her. Now that the two are not together anymore, Luke can make his move. Considering how horrible Hanna's ex was , I just couldn't understand why she was with him to begin with. And because of this I found it har to connect with her. Luke is this sweet guy who's actually a true alpha, but he hides it well. I think he was just too loyal to his step brother. In the end Hannah and Luke end up sleeping together, but the issue is the distance between their respective locations. Si will the two end up together? I actually enjoyed the read, it was quick, it was steamy and hot! I highly recommend it for fans of the genre. I received an arc and volunteered a review.
Friends-to-lovers is one of my favorite romance tropes, so I was super excited to hear about this one, and I'm glad to say that I loved it! Luke and Hannah have been close friends for over a decade, and are both very attracted to one another, but she's with his stepbrother. But all bets are off once Hannah stands up for herself and breaks off with Barry completely. She deserved SO much better, and Luke was right there - a lover, a companion, a partner in all ways. Someone attentive and caring, and who loved her so much that her needs and wants became his. It was great to see the two of them working together to make their relationship worth it. Possibly my favorite of the Temperance Falls short stories!
This reminds me of my favorite Jane t Jackson don't Anytime anywhere....They get it on....I so love Hannah and Luke story. They have been in love for like forever...Only problem, Barry was in the way. Barry is Like stepmother as he knew luke liked Hannah and stole her from him way back when...But how bittersweet He Shows up and try to get her back and Luke Answers The Door In HIs Boxers And Tells Him Shes Passed Out And even If She wants To Talk She Cant Because She Is To Hoarse From Screaming Out My Name...thats Right Payback Is A Betych.....oh My Bag, Im Only Basing This Review On The Epilogue, Which Means You Need To Get The Book To Read The Juicy Stuff. And It is Hot!
My heart, be still... for Luke and Hannah's epic chemistry will make it go pitter patter!
Hannah is with Luke's Stepbrother. But, Luke has always held a flame for her. Since he thought his Stepbrother and Hannah were happy, he left her alone. Until he finds out she wasn't. Then he steps in and is willing to take his long awaited prize, Hannah.
I love Luke and Hannah's story of how they find their way to one another. They have some very naughty and sexy times.
Absolutely enjoyed this short read and you will too!
***I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy***
When the story first start. You meet Luke and his brother Barry. Barry is the very definition of a**hole. His on again off again relationship with Hannah affects Luke. Luke and Hannah are good friends, however he wants more always has. Finally after all of the years that past and a raging storm, these two finally take a chance on one another. Luke and Hannah were great together such great chemistry. He treats her like a Queen and gives her what she needs. They do have a lot to overcome and work through. All in all another hit for me!
Great book! My second read by these authors who write together as London Hale did not disappoint. Luke is the good guy, Barry is his a$$hat stepbrother. Barry got the girl twelve years ago but was then and this is now. Luke overhears a conversation that encourages him to make his move and claim Hannah for his own, and does he ever! This is a steamy, sexy romance with two very likable main characters who have a lot of chemistry. The writing is great, the sex scenes are hot. I loved this story.
