Rules are made to be broken . . .
When it comes to dating, ex-Navy SEAL Marcus Denali has a few simple rules. Never date a coworker. Never date a friend's sister. And never ever date a girl whose brother is a coworker, a friend, and a fellow SEAL. So why would Marcus dance so closely---and flirt so shamelessly---with Mandy Lawson? Simple. It's a Fourth of July masquerade ba

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: cute and quirky single lady has a crush on her older brother’s unattainable and surly BFF.

Oh, and he’s an ex-SEAL who doesn’t “do” relationships.

When our gal decides to throw a little heat his way, he can’t help but succumb to her charms and their brief affair with a pre-determined end date begins.

Going into this, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. These stories are a dime a dozen at this point but I still gravitate to them like a frea

I love this one WAY more than the first book, and it's too short I finished it in an hour. I skipped book 2 by the way, as I was excited to read Mandy's story.

Mandy and Marcus' love story is too cliche. Honestly. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy every bit of this story. I actually think this is perfect and I'm so glad I picked this one up to read during my break from writing. Despite the plot being cliche, the characters made up for it and more. You see Mandy is Marcus' friend's little sist

This was so great! After it ended, I pretty much sat there with a smile on my face totally immersed in the happiness that was Marcus and Mandy's story. Loved it!

I loved both Mandy and Marcus. They had seriously great chemistry and sexual tension happening. I liked the forbidden element involved (though I didn’t think it was that big of a deal) but enjoyed the conflict that went with it and how it played into the story. Mandy was so sweet and open and I loved how she put herself out there with Ma

Mandy Lawson has reached the point where she is very secure in who she is and what she wants from and for her life. She doesn’t back away from a challenge and generally speaks her mind. She isn’t your typical female romance lead. She is intelligent, feisty, a tomboy, loves football, and can fix her own car. I liked that she isn’t your classic beauty and a take charge of her life woman. She has had a crush on Marcus since she met him.

The only consistent/stable person in Marcus Denali’s life is h

Can I just say that I love how Mandy and Marcus "met" at the event? They don't exchange names, instead decide to just spend time dancing together. They were set up by a military dating website but little did Marcus know this wasn't really a blind date. They immediately hit it off and the sexual tension quickly rises between them. It's only when Marcus insists they exchange names that he realizes why they get along so well - they've known each other for years, since Mandy is his best friend's lit ...more
You’ve heard this story before: girl has thing for guy who typically doesn’t do commitment, both get into an agreed sex-only fling for a period of time, girl convinces herself to keep it only physical, but fails, but takes it anyway because he’s what she wanted for so long. It all leads to a climax—sometimes literally—where someone breaks it off, which also happens to be a kick in the arse or an epiphany for the other party who then wakes up and grovels for something he/she had always wanted but ...more

4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s Marcus’ turn for romance. Who would have guessed his masquerade date would be his friends lil sister?
Can Marcus see Mandy as more than just one of the guys or as his friends lil sister?
This was a great story with a sexy alpha male who finds love.
Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

The many sides of a talented author are put on display with A Seal's Honor. JM Stewart dives right in with a boldness that is sensually sweet. Marcus and Mandy are caught in a masquerade of their own making. Will the reward prove worthy of the risk? From masquerade balls to close calls, their wicked two step keeps readers on their toes as Ms. Stewart guides them through some heartbreaking woes. From light and flirty to down and dirty, A Seal's Honor delivers seduction with a message. This series ...more

Older alpha male vs coworker and friend's little sister. Nice contemporary romance. New to me author and I came in the middle of the series and could still follow along.

This review is based on the ARC provided by the author and/or the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.
Pretty much the usual. Girl had a crush on brothers friend when she was younger. They meet again and guy is astounded how she's changed. He doesn't do commitments, the "off-limits" is forgotten and they agree on a sex-only relationship for a period of time that becomes complicated when one decides to pull out of the deal when feelings have become involved.
The story is nicely enough done. The only differences usually are the characters themselves and Navy SEAL Marcus with Mandy were an interestin

Received in exchange for a honest review.

Loved Marcus and how he struggles with his feelings for Mandy but is also honorable to a point with her. Loved Mandy and her tomboy ways but also how she was vulnerable and caring. Boy can she give as good as she takes.

This was a fun loving story. Marcus had a painful past with his mom that has left him scarred. He doesn’t really believe in forever. His grandma is awesome. But he does feel he fails those he loves and that is due to his sister and mom. He

This is a great book. I have never any of this author's books before but I really enjoyed. It is the typical younger sister of a friend story but there is so much more to it than that. Great story.

This was a ton of fun! I was expecting this to be more of a “dating my friend’s little sister” trope, but other than some initial resistance and a few brother comments, this is more of a commitment-phobe romance. Since I love that particular trope, I was not disappointed! This is the third book in the Military Match series, but I re

A SEAL's Honor is the third book in the incredible Military Match series by J.M. Stewart. A highly entertaining romance that's a definite must read! Military romances are one of my favorite type of stories, and this series has been wonderful. No, these characters are not active military anymore, but that doesn't drop the hotness factor at all. This book is full of quirky humor, witty banter, secret crushes, and surprising twists. It's a fantastic story that everyone can enjoy.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

While this is book 3 in the series and I have not read any of the previous books, I felt that this could be read as a stand alone. I had no problem understanding the characters and their relationships. I do want to read the other books now, as Gabe, Steph, Trent, and Lauren sound like interesting stories behind their relationships!

How can you not love Mandy when she is so down to earth, funny, and lovable but then most the guys she dated probably en

4 1/2 STARS!

Sweet and sassy! A blind date and a masquerade ball mixed into one can make for an exciting meet-up, but when he discovers the woman he's feeling such an attraction to is his best friend's little sister, Marcus realizes he's in big trouble! I really enjoyed the connection between them and both the characters and the plot were well developed. This entire series has been great!

"Received an Advance Reader Copy in exchange for a fair review"
This was a great love story full of sexual tension and sweetness. Both main characters are complex, with personalities that are interesting and sound quite real in their vulnerability and dilemmas.
The hero, a former SEAL, is an Alpha male with the right amount of bossiness and tenderness. The author, J.M. Stewart, manages to create a character that could be like so many others I’ve read in other books before, but, somehow, seems fres

This is the 3rd book in the Military Match series and the first book that I have personally read. It reads fabulously as a stand-alone.

A SEAL's Honor is a quickly-paced, May/December romance with an older man/younger woman by twelve years. So, not too severe of an age discrepancy. In this story, it fit well and the characters felt evenly matched. Mandy is mature for her age and Marcus is able to see beyond the "tomboy" title Mandy gives herself and finds her and her tomboy qualities attra

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I did take one star off as there were times when I thought Mandy was a little to pushy. As I am older and from another generation, I was a little put off by it. I did love Marcus though. He put everything up front and was completely honest with Mandy and just seemed like a perfect hero.

I would recommend this book because as I said before, it is probably just the generatio

I read this book via NetGalley.

I loved this book. From the mysterious elements, the sexy love scenes, and the desirable romance that blossoms between Marcus and Mandy, A SEAL's Honor was seriously perfect. I was enthralled by how emotional the novel got in some parts, and the characters never failed to keep me interested. I loved how little details allowed the story to have more meaning, especially in terms of why Marcus was haunted by what happened in his past. Mandy's personality was relatable

My first book by this author but it won’t be my last-I already one-clicked the first 2 books in this series. A sweet, sexy and sassy read. Loved Marcus and Mandy together. Enjoyed Marcus’ journey. Grams and Cam were cute additions to story.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC received through NetGalley.

Mandy is a wedding planner and Marcus is former SEAL and owns a garage with some buddies. He doesn’t date friends sisters and he only does a night or two. They are paired up, when they both sign up for Military Match dating service. Marcus is older than Mandy but age doesn’t matter to her. She has had a crush on Marcus and is not giving up this chance to be with him.

This book is my first of the author and she didn't disappoint me at all. This story is about a sister that fell in love with the older brother bet friend. Is well written although was in third person, that is not my original pick up book but it was worth it. Is a little slow in the beginning but then the connection with the characters and the story was amazing. Cannot wait to read more.

Mandy grew up with 2 older brothers, and if she wanted to spend some quality time with her dad, she learned that she needed to be OK with doing everything the boys did in order to keep up. That tomboy childhood didn't do her any favors when she got older and the men she wanted to date saw her more as one of the guys than a beautiful woman. She has had her eye on her brother's SEAL teammate and fellow bike builder Marcus for some time, but once again she has been placed in the friend zon

A SEAL's Honor is a fantastic romance that brings two tender hearted people together through an unlikely source. Mandy has been interested in Marcus Denali for a really long time, and when they're matched through Military Match, she tries to take advantage of the opportunity to make a move on the man she's been crushing on.. JM Stewart dives into the story quickly as Mandy goes after a man who is determined to not be tempted! I loved how the characters connected. The reasons why Marcus hesitated ...more

Sparks fly when the military dating app connects Marcus Denali with Mandy Lawson. Dating Mandy breaks all of Marcus' rules. She's his buddy's little sister for starters. Not aware of who she is on their first date that's to the costume they wore for the masquerade ball Marcus has a great time and definitely wants more from this woman. Until the masks come off.....

A SEAL's Honor is the third title in the Military Match series, but can easily be read as a stand alone. Marcus is older, mature, hardened by his past and the last thing he expects when he signs up to a dating service is to be matched with his friends younger sister Mandy.

What starts as a relationship of convenience ends up being much more as feelings become involved.

JM Stewart writes heartfelt contemporary romance. Whether the heat level is sizzling or sweet, her stories are always deeply emotional. Her heroes are strong but sensitive (no alpha jerks here!), and her heroines are more Cinderella than Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
