Forget You Not
Welcome to Havenwood Falls, a small town in the majestic mountains of Colorado. A town where legacies began centuries ago, bloodlines run deep, and dark secrets abound. A town where nobody is what you think, where truths pose as lies, and where myths blend with reality. A place where everyone has a story. This is only but one…

A few years earlier Kaela nearly killed her fiance when she became a vampire. Now that she's got her self under control, she's hoping to get him back, only to find out she's too late. A mysterious job offer in the Colorado mountains seems to be the perfect getaway from the pain. Once she gets to Havenwood Falls, she finds things are not what they seem and she's not who she thought she was.

Lots of questions went unanswered and things unexplained but all in all it was a good read.
I would love more of Xander and Kaela, I feel like we've just skimmed the surface with those two.
However. I immediately fell in love with the characters and the town. I want more Havenwood Falls and I want it now!

I have been waiting weeks to start reading about Havenwood Falls and it was well worth the wait. This was the first one I read and the details she gives you in the story make you feel like you live in the town and you visit often.
The premise behind the book though is this woman who gets offered this job and goes to start a new life in a new place that she had never been too, or had she. You learn all about this woman and the people in her life and you begin to wonder what ...more
Like all of her books I truly enjoyed reading this. It was well done with characters that were developed and captured my attention. I cared about Michaela and wanted things to work out for her and Alexander.
Unlike her other books, I wasn't left wanting more. Perhaps this is because the book was shorter so I didn't have enough time to become too invested in the characters. However, I have read other novella t ...more
Introduction to Havenwood Falls which is a series written by a collaboration of several authors.
Havenwood Falls is a secret town that doesn't show up on any maps or on GPS, and is a haven for all sorts of supernatural beings. Conversely for a town that likes to stay secret, it's main line of business is tourism.
I suppose this is just a way of getting new characters on the scene to carry on New storylines, otherwise it might start getting incestuous.

But she soon discovers that the town really isn't all that new to her. As she rediscovers all memories, she has to face the fact that someone has been messing around with her life - and in a way that has some pretty bad c ...more
Why oh why aren't there more than 5 stars??!! When you first start this book you are immediately thrown in to a world of mystery. The first book in a collaborative series 'Forget You Not' takes true love, family rivalries, curses and elements of vampire lore as you thought you knew it and flips it upside down.

This is a great stand-alone book by Kristie Cook. I have read everything she has written and this novella is a great addition to her other series/characters.

She accepts a job at Havenwood Falls Inn and makes the move to Colorado and soon discovers the supernatural things happening in Havenwood Falls. Once she arrives, her memories come flooding ...more

This is a face pace book, full of emotions and has a great plot. I love the clever twist and turns
The only downside is I felt if it could have done with being a longer book because the ending felt rushed that said it is still a great read and a great opener to the series, I look forward to reading more.
