This is the story of Annie Caslo and Colt Ballard.

A strong tale of romance, lust, and curiosity, this story of Annie and Colt is a must read for all fans of romance. The story is kind of told in two parts—the way that Annie and Colt get together and then a little bit where it fast forwards into the current story to show the way that Annie and Colt’s life together developed. It’s easy to relate to the character’s and the author’s writing has a way of making you feel for the characters…especially when Annie continues to make bad decisions! Also, ...more

Um..I found it difficult to become absorbed into the story but I'm glad I finished this book as it does take you on quite a journey!

Annie and Colt meet while Annie is running a chiropractor clinic and teaching as well. Colt is her student, Annie is twenty-one due to advanced learning and superior intelligence and determination to succeed. Her passion from childhood however is more creative, being acting and writing plays. As Annie grows up this side of her life is left behind to be revisited whe

This story grew on me as I continued to read. At the beginning I was a little thrown as Annie seems to have accomplished way too much to have reached the level of her doctor/teaching career at twenty-one and I found it hard to suspend that belief. However, as I continued, I really got to like these characters and the authors style. The sense of humor and the old movie references are very entertaining and I enjoyed how the author laid out a typical love story trope in the beginning, only to chang ...more

If you enjoy love stories, then you will enjoy the story of Annie and Colt. You have everything that you could ask for in a romance story: Lust, tension and intrigue. From beginning to the end, the story was enjoyable and a quick and easy read. The one thing that I didn’t like was that Annie didn’t seem like a very strong character and she was always making bad decisions all the time, so much so that you wanted to grab her by the shoulders and shake her really hard.

She gets what she wants in th

Reel Love is an interesting book that revolves around Annie, Colt, and Annie’s guardian angel referred to as Evan. I thought it was going to go in one direction but it did something completely different than what I was expecting, which is great! The first fifth of the book seems feels more like a traditional romance novel but the book really picks up after that when Annie has a midlife crisis at 26 and her guardian angel comes onto the scene and Annie pursues her creative side. This is when the ...more

Love conquers all

I really enjoyed Annie and Colt's love story. The tension, nerves and lust were all perfectly balanced for a great romance. There was a kind of fast forward, where their lives together were described and that's where the "reel" story begins.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, though there were times when I wanted to shake Annie and berate her for her bad decisions. She makes a lot of them. But true love really does conquer all and I ended teary eyed with the sweet HEA.
Great book!

I am having a hard time finishing this one. One of the main reasons being that I feel like the characters, the story line and the reality doesn’t match. I am having a hard time believing that the main character at such a young age could be an instructor and teaching. It’s very distracting for the story.
