We visited Savannah a few different times over a couple years as well as Charleston. We found a lighthouse on the Oregon Coast which became the model for our fictional lighthouse in Crimson Cove. But we also lived near Portland Oregon for several years so we knew that area well anyway. We lived in Orlando when we wrote the series and set a portion there too. The characters are all totally fictional with the exception of one who was our "inspiration" but even she while inspiring the character is a product of our wild imaginations. Thank you for reading! I just hope this series lives up to its potential because so far I'm totally intrigued.

That was the first line from my review of the first book in this series and it's not only lived up to its potential but it surpassed it and I'm really sorry to see it end.

This series was unlike anything else I've read. We were introduced to seemingly random characters all from different times and places but the more we read the more we realised they all connect in some way.

The book opens in Charleston, South C

When I first heard of the Onyx Webb series, I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it was simply a ghost story, perhaps a supernatural mystery with some ghosts thrown in for good mystery. What I wasn't expecting was a love story, multiple family dramas, a ghost story, a serial killer, a revenge plot, and so much more, with a woman at its center who's life, both directly and indirectly, touched all involved. This story spanned decades from start to finish, and it was such an interesting journey ...more

So this is it. The final book in the Onyx Webb series. I was so excited to read it and sad at the same time. I very much enjoyed the books, reading what was happening with the characters and anticipating what would come next. And now I’ve found out how it all ends. I won’t go into details about events in the book. It’s the tenth one, after all, and the synopsis gives you an idea. Instead, I’ll tell you how I felt.

To be honest, I wasn’t too sure about this series. The fist book took me a while to

Well, the web is finally complete. All the loose ends are tied up and the secrets have all been told. There are no more dots to connect. I’m sad that this series is over, but as they say, all good things must come to an end.

Onyx Webb is a difficult series to review without giving away spoilers or repeating myself. I truly love this series but to be honest, I didn’t love this book as much as I loved the previous books. I’m not sure if it’s because I knew everything was ending or maybe it w

The conclusion to the Onyx Webb series is more of what has come before in the previous nine books and that is a very good thing. This series has felt like a television show right from the get go and the nice thing is that there are so many characters and storylines that it is very easy to find characters and character arcs to identify with and enjoy. Even if you don't like a particular character just wait a few pages and the scene will shift to a character you probably like more. Some of the cha ...more

I received this book to give an honest review.
This is the ending of Onxy Webb and I have to say I am sad. I had received this book a while ago but I didn't want to read it as I knew it was the end. Everything comes full circle in book ten. The FBI finally gets to get their main man, Onxy Webb finally gets to be happy though will she every fully be happy is the question, we learn that there seem to be a lot more ghosts around than we normally thought there

After 10 books, 32 Episodes, an Epilogue and some 3,000 pages, the tale of Onyx Webb is told and done. Fenton and Waltz have pulled off something of a minor miracle by inventing a new type of supernatural serial soap opera that maintained its pacing and kept readers captivated from the first page. Congratulations, guys. Even though the plot was superlative, and the ending worthy of the great story, it really, really was the journey that was so enjoyable. Finally, I made it all the way through this series. Ten books, all of which were entertaining to an extent. The best were the early books across a disjointed timeline, watching the strands of the web pull together.

But with this book, you get to the center of the web, look around, and think, "That's it?"

It's my understanding the authors are re-vamping this series now, hoping for a wider audience and are planning further Onyx Webb adventures. I wish them well, but I'm done.

>Book Review – Onyx Webb

>I am an independent reviewer. This is book 10 in the Onyx Webb series and contains the last 4 episodes – Episodes 29, 30, 31 & 32. This book ties together the myriad of loose ends, giving some characters their HEA and other characters what they rightfully deserve. One of the main plot lines in the book is the capture of Stan Lee. Newt and Maggie slowly figure out all of the clues and come out on the winning end of Stan Lee’s game. Bruce confronts his brother, l

I received a free copy by the authors considering I reviewed Book One through Nine. Book Ten is the conclusion to the emotional and mental rollercoaster that is the series of Onyx Webb. I was apart of this wonderful reading experience from day one when I received a free autographed copy of Episode One at the Spooky Empire event in Orlando, Florida and was able to meet the authors. My name was listed on the "Super Fans" dedication at the beginning of Episode 5. And now I have reached the conclusi ...more

Onyx Webb: The Series by both Richard Penton and Andrea Waltz is the last installment to this superb series. A paranormal soap opera tale filled with tons of action, adventure, and ghosts. Onyx Webb is by far still my favorite character. Her story was beautifully done. Noah is another character from this series that I loved too. He's Onyx's other half. Their relationship is unusual and emotionally engaging. All the other characters were awesome. They added to each featured episode. Fueling the d ...more

Well, the end of Onyx Webb series has come, and I’m not a happy camper about that. In this final chapter of the story, everyone is dealing with the aftermath of the solstice ghostly invasion. Onyx is letting depression take over, Noah gets the shock of his life, the Mulvaney’s tragedy brings them closer, and Stan Lee is running out of time. The rest of the characters are included, and everyone gets a closure.

The web has become crystal clear and gone full circle. The subtle shout out to the reade

It's over!

I have spent this whole year reading this series and I was just dreading when I got to the last novel.

Onyx Webb: Book Ten is just the cleaning up and perfecting all of the mess that transpired over the last nine books. Onyx, the people that are in her life, the Mulvaney family, their friends and loved ones, the Leg Collector, Newt and the FBI, and Quinn and Wyatt.

Everything turned out just the way that I wanted and somewhat expected to play out. Everyone got what they deserved and I a

I am both saddened and overjoyed at the culmination of the Onyx Webb series. Questions have been answered, loose threads tightened, the insanity, horror, downright spookiness, and love in this series will forever become a part of me and I look forward to returning to the series when I’m in need of some down home honest Onyx Webb wisdom. For those of you who’ve seen this series on Amazon, Goodreads, elsewhere and you’re wondering if you should commit, the answer is a resounding, YES! While your l ...more

I loved book 10 (as well as the others) and am so sad to see the end of this exciting, fascinating, unique and well-written series. After the explosive nature of book 9, this book achieves the ultimate weaving of the web, giving us resolution and closure for all the characters that have been part of our lives through all ten books. It is difficult to pigeonhole this series as it spans the dramatic, paranormal, thriller, historical, horror and romance categories. Start with book one and keep read ...more

What an incredible series, I can't even begin to put it into words..you just have to read it from the beginning! Speaking of which now that I have all the books I can't wait to start reading them all over as I know I dropped parts of the story waiting for the next book to come out.

I like to think of this book as one big lovely, indulgent wrap-up of an incredible series. There's nothing better than going into a story that raises a hundred different, complicated questions, and then having everything answered by the end of the series. The happy endings were happy, the deaths were sad and bittersweet, and the villains...well, I won't spoil it for you.

Thank you to Andrea Waltz for introducing me to these books, I am forever grateful. Everyone I've introduced to this series has

I loved every book in this series. And this last one was just as good. Still plenty of twists and turns and surprises. Some "last books" leave you feeling empty, angry, and or dissatisfied. The end of this series actually has a feel good ending. I love how the authors treated all of the characters in the end. There is also some humor and nods. Yes, I think the thing to do now, is read the whole series beginning to end. Thanks Richard and Andrea!

Truly amazing series

The Onyx Webb was one of the best series of books I have ever read. The way all the stories intertwined left me unable to stop reading them, needing to know how everything would finally come together. I am sad that the Webb is complete and can only hope that there will be more to tell in the future.

Awesome ending

I received the book for an honest review. After reading all 10 books, I can safely say that ghosts are more fun than people. Truly wouldn't mind being one if it meant getting to be Stormy or Onyx. For fans of spooky stories, this one is for you.

“Time is a strange thing, Jitterbug. On one hand, time is free, yet on the other, it’s priceless. You never really own it, but you can do anything you want with it. You’re not allowed to save any of it up, but you can spend it. And once you’ve lost it, you ain’t never gonna get it back. Of all the gifts on God’s green earth, time is the thing we long for the most, yet—somehow or other—it always ends up being the thing we use the worst.” 0 likes
