I was the boy who would never be king. The monster who could never be loved.

Gia was just a job. Just another girl caught in a world of monsters.

It didn’t matter that I liked the look of her.
I didn’t care that she cringed when she saw my soul.
I liked it.
I liked her fear.
And I wanted her.

Monsters didn’t get to live happily ever after, though. I knew one day I’d have

This is a tough review for me to write. I find myself a little torn over how to rate this book. I liked it, but I didn't love it.

On the one hand, 'Dominic' had many elements that would usually be an instant hit with me. It featured a morally bankrupt anti-hero that does some terrible things to the heroine. I love dark reads, so the twisted storyline was right up my alley. Also, the author didn't shy away from writing dark, controversial content, which is also a big plus for me.

However, the

Natasha Knight has delivered one hell of a comeback for Dominic Benedetti and love him or hate, the man definitely knew how to get your attention. He was flawed, ruthless, and he made no apologies for who he was and for that alone, I respected the hell out of him. This isn’t just another Mafia Romance, this is this story of how two of the most unlikely people went from being sworn enemies, to having one of the greatest loves in their lives.

DOMINIC: This is the second book within the Benedetti series, even though it is a standalone it is advised to truly understand the true dynamics of the characters within the series that you read 'Salvatore' before jumping onto this book.

The author outdid herself in this dark suspense romance. I loved loved loved this book. I am a true fan girl of dark erotica. The darker the better. Dominic: a Dark Mafia Romance is beyond dark. I'm still feeling awed and terribly shaken to the core!

Gia comes across as a girl who's really strong, determined as hell and brave. Her life changes as she’s captured and trained for auction by Dominic, a dark, handsome, but cruel and devious man. We know Gia is special and

It all started when it ended for Dominic Benedetti/Sapienti, in one night 7 years ago, he lost himself, he lost his name, he lost his family when HE walked away to become the self-hated, self-depraved man. A monster paid to train girls for sale auctions. Heartless, cruel, emotionless shadow of death looming above their lives...until she became his next task.

Can be read as a standalone

Dominic can be read as a standalone, but in my opinion, I think it's more enjoyable reading it after Salvatore to get a better sense of the family's history.

Dominic hasn't had an easy life. His past made him run away from his mafia lifestyle to live like a monster. Training girls for auction. When a girl connected to his past becomes his next assignment... everything changes.

Gia had to witness her brother's murder, and she vowed to get vengeance.

Dominic, Dominic. He was certainly a multi-flawed and layered character for sure. He's literally the product of what your environment and molding can do to you and how they interject with factors of reality and what is expected out of you.

I liked Dominic and his whole broody, lost, rough around the edges, bad man self. His personality was one to take by a grain of salt and enticing to see it frazzled and unraveled through his meeting of Gia: his latest assignment. She, in a way, brings light to

Dominic is the second installment in the Bendetti Brothers series and saying that Salvatore's story was challenging is underestimating the ruthlessness of this book. Dominic is a total heart wreck.

I could not wait to find out what happened with Dominic after he fled the scene. Once I started Dominic, I couldn’t stop. He absolutely enthralled me, Gia had my total respect and the story itself had me totally hooked.

Fast moving, intriguing and addictive. That’s the only way to describe Dominic – both the man and the book. Unfortunately, there is no way to describe exactly what happened throughout this story. It’s a dark romance that has

As much as I enjoyed this book... I couldn't get over how sorry Dominick felt for himself and half the time I was rolling my eyes thinking "get over yourself".

Dominick meets Gia when he's meant to train her for a slave auction. Immediately, he feels something different for her. This isn't the traditional slave / Captor story as things change quickly when Dominick finds out who she really is and they become more partners in crime which I enjoyed seeing.

What I didn't like?

I would've given it 5 if it weren't for the six months.. So I read the blurb and wasn't intrigued not even with the first chapter. When I started to read Salvatore (book 1) I became interested in knowing Dominic better. I'm so glad I gave this a go, the beginning was a bit on the dark side and it was hard liking Dominic. But along the way I began to see a better side of Dominic a softer side a side he kept hidden for a long long time.

Now I know and understand his actions and behavior

WOWZA! What. A. Book! But this is par for the course for this AMAZINGLY talented author.

Fact. Every time I start a Natasha Knight novel, I am flooded with shivery anticipation. My heart quickens, my knees turn to jello, and I feel a rush of quivery excitement course through my veins! Her writing just has such a visceral impact on me, so even before I opened the first page of DOMINIC I knew instinctively she was gonna take me on a

The feels this story evokes are crazy! I'm talking a serious emotional ride!

Dominic is in such pain he can hardly stand his own company. After learning devastating news he disappears. In his new line of work he meets his soul and life mate, Gia.

I absolutely LOVE Knight's writing! It's dark, its dirty, it's gritty, it's perfect! Dominic is portrayed as a severely wounded broken soul and his emotions only enhance his masculinity not take away from it. Not many authors can boast that feat. The

I enjoyed the hell out of this book. I fell for Dominic he was the perfect anti hero, he was broken but by the end you could tell that her had healed and became a strong man. The background story was well written and kept me intrested...How Gia ended up in that cabin, who was behind it all was exciting reading. I would recommened this book for dark, mafia,HEA romance readers:))

I felt zero connection between Dominic and Gia! Didn’t really understand the change of heart with Salvatore and Dominic. I don’t know. This just wasn’t working for me so I called it quits.

Ive been in a book funk for a while now so just because it didn’t work for me hopefully it will for you:))
When I first bought this book, I didn’t start reading it right away. Oh no, I knew I needed courage to read this book, and I didn’t have that at the moment. Thinking about the book on my kindle for a couple of days I finally couldn’t contain my inner fangirl anymore, and I started reading!

The first thing that hit my eyes when I started it, was a note from the author, Natasha. It said that Dominic was one of the hardest characters for her ever to write and as a great Natasha Knight fan I then

A worthy, dark, Mafia book......

Fantastic. You must like dark to read, but if you do, I wouldn’t pass this book up. The story is well told, the suspense real & the gory details are not hidden.

Dominic is a worthy Anti-Hero. In fact, I’d say he’s teetering on the edge of it. He’s barely passable. One of the darkest characters I’ve read in Mafia. He’s full of self loathing, and lonely. The loneliness was a surprise addition. He’s so cocky in the first book, so full of himself, but he left that

Dominic is the second book in Natasha Knight’s Benedetti Brothers series, and as with the first book, Salvatore, this was an addictive quick read. Dominic is not my favourite read from the author, but it kept me turning the pages and I’m eager for more of the series.

Although I was curious about Dominic, I was also a bit tentative. I never really cared for him as a character when reading Salvatore and knew it would need something amazing in his story for him to win me over. Unfortunately, I was

Dark, twisted and utter perfection, Dominic is one man you don't want to mess with and definitely not a man to be missed! This book is about revenge and figuring out who you can trust. With the twists and turns you can never be too sure what's going on and I loved it!

Dominic was a jerk, simply put, but he was a jerk with atleast a few morals. I found that enduring. He may not have had the sweet word, or flowers but he brought a lot to the table.

Gia was the type of woman that was didn't want to

If Salvatore owned my heart, the Dominic literally claimed my soul. This book, this beautifully broken man, somehow managed to claw his way deep inside & fully consume the parts we all keep in the dark, the parts that we gloss over with rainbows & unicorns. Dominic Benedetti is my ultimate Anti Hero & I fuckin loved him.

Natasha has blown me away with Dominic. The darkness, the evil, the sheer bad that runs through this entire story is so intense - it owned me from the get go. There

Oh My God!!. I think these were my words when I first started reading this book. I honestly had no idea that this book had dark elements to it. I read Salvatore and could not wait for Dominic’s story. I wanted to know where he was, what he was doing and everything else about this man. When I started reading this book I was intrigued but at the same time so afraid to continue. But it really didn’t matter how afraid I was because I could not stop reading. I
Dominic is MY all-time Prince of dark, soooooo delicious, decidedly DOM and dangerous! Dominic Benedetti/Sapienti left his whole life behind the night his "father" told him the truth about his birth....and all hell broke loose!!

Since that night 7 years ago, where Dominic felt like he lost everything and everyone he cared about, he's fully embraced his dark side and feels like he's totally undeserving of fact, he believes he's the worst monster and goes about proving it

Dominic Benedetti has learned the truth and it has destroyed him. Running from the only family he has even known. He makes no qualms that he is a monster, but is he really? Is he just trying to live up to the reputation of his true birth father or that of the mafia, or even more, is he acting out for his inner feelings of hurt? He takes on despicable jobs for various crime bosses. One of the jobs is to train women into submission for human slavery. Gia is given to Dominic to train. She comes ...more

Dominic is a standalone and book two of the Benedetti Brothers series. The story opens right in the middle of all the action; which I assume is more detailed in book one, but it sounds more like events took place in between. It doesn’t matter there’s enough detail to keep you informed. Dominic is the youngest son of a mafia leader who is struggling with his identity after finding out some life altering news. He’s sunk deep into the dark underworld and feels nothing. Enter a routine “job” that is ...more

Well... this was quite something...
Dominic has ZERO redeeming qualities. He is sadist and he likes it! I mean... his new job is to 'train' girls for auction.
Don't go into this book expecting a guy that has some deep reason that makes perfect sense for what he does.

Dominic and Gia's journey wasn't pretty. Wasn't easy to read. It was full of blood, pain, and deceit. There was also passion of course. Two dark and broken souls that understood each other better than anyone else.

A super storyline, and I would give this second book a 4.5 star rating. Dominic we see is in the business of training girls before they are to be sold at auction, but its when he is given Gia to brwak that he can no longer run from who he really is. Gia isnt the little girl Dom remembers she has grown up to be tough, and bent on revenging her brothers murder. When Dom begins to put the pieces together he and Gia set out to find out who really ordered her and Matteo's demise. Along the way Dom ...more

So good

I read Salvatore . I really liked it, but Dominic is by far the better of the two. Dominic is such a great force. His darkness. His strength. Such a complete cover to hide his vulnerable xxx loving heart and soul. Such a gripping tale. Recommended to anyone who loves dark mafia romances. Highly recommended.
