September 29, 2020A standout picture book about one of the happiest Jewish family traditions. The bookshelves are glutted with stories about the big holidays--but this cozy little gem is about, and for, every Shabbat. Everything's there, from the challah to the kugel. And this Bubbe is right up to date and familiar to today's kids, with her red sneakers and bright slacks. The catchy rhymes are a clever nod to the rap style, too.
