*Experiencing His grace for the rest of your life*, In this book, Stephen takes us through his own journey of pleasure-seeking and ambition to a life-changing encounter with the reality of God's grace. He is painfully honest as he shares his very personal life experiences. Because of his willingness to share with us, he is able to help us confront our failures and reach out for God's restorative touch. What I especially liked about this book was the complete honesty and reality of Arterburn. He tells us exactly how it is; no "glossed over" images and stories here! It helped me to see where I've been covering up sins in my life and how I need to deal with them immediately. This touches on some sensitive topics and may not be suitable for anyone under 16 years of age or so.

Enjoyable, easy reading, yet challenging semi-biographic tale, full of life lessons and a call to better, more authentic living. Can relate to many aspects of the author's life - and hope to learn from many mistakes made! Encouraging and helpful.

This is a short little read in which Arterburn uses various things he has gone through in his life to bring out the point that God's grace is out there for all sinners who believe in Jesus.

Arterburn uses personal issues he has dealt with in life such as abortion, divorce and his brother's homosexuality to show us that God is there to get us through all the stuff life on earth throws at us. Arterburn helps us see that even Christian writers who appear to have it all together have had struggles and continue to face all this messed up world has to throw at us with God's help.

Glad God gives second chances and more.
