Kept my interest

I like a horror story that doesn't have to be all messy. This one Kept me wanting to cheat and go to the end of each story and see the ending. I will read more of her writings.

I was lucky enough to receive a copy through Goodreads first reads.

Lovely little book with some amazing short stories. Quick little page turner, perfect for my morning commute. Dark and twisted plots for the horror reader.

I would love the author to take a few of these short stories and run with them, turning them into novellas / novels.

First is A Conversation with Death, where the first person narrative tells literally of a brush with Death personified, which prompts guilty memories - and then relief that it's not there for her - yet!

Gripping, disturbing, with a dash of the supernatural.

A great collection of short stories. Some of which are very disturbing and left me feeling pretty uncomfortable! I did prefer the stories with supernatural themes.

A seriously chilling look at the minds of some seriously creepy characters. If you want to feel the hairs on your neck stand up and wonder at each bump in the night, then pick this one up. Each short story has a twist that will leave you terrified.
