The book mainly focuses on three regions of Southern Africa and their rulers, King of the Zulu nantion, King of Sotho, and Queen of Angola. For each and every of each state, the book shares information such as history of the state, what the leaders could do by how much power they had, major battles fought, and what they had left behind that we still use in todays life (Fighting strategies, tools, etc). Other than that, the book also shows how everyday life was like in the early centuries of Southern Africa (Migration, growth and development, etc).
