PIcked this one up at a library book sale for 50 cents...not the sort of book that I'll read cover-to-cover in one sitting.....perfect for occasional browsing.
Hardcover, huge, heavy...photojournalism, poetry, history.....it's a beaut.

Much in the same spirit as Baraka, this is a beautiful and inspiring focus for observing humanity, though it does carry a strong Anglo-American bias in orientalizing Other cultures.
