I love food. I love everything about it.
My dream has always been to land a job with the Food Network channel, and I’ve spent years as a food critic, blogger, and chef, tasting my way across the South to develop recipes that are a twist on the classics and uniquely my own. When a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity comes calling, I’m shocked to discover I’ve been pai

Probably one of the most predictable love stories, where I knew from the first page about how it will continue and end, but the author's style of writing is so beautiful and current, that you forget everything and just imagine the smell of vineyard and earth.

The Sweetness of Life is beautifully written and as charming as they come. I laughed, I swooned, and I drank a lot of wine. ;) I’ve been anxiously awaiting a new release from Kathryn Andrews and The Sweetness of Life did not disappoint. Charming and unique, it’s everything I want from a contemporary romance, with a touch of spice I wasn’t expecting. I'm ALWAYS all about a good enemies-to-lovers storyline, so all the moments where they were all up in each other's space growling but getting turned ...more

Do you know that incredible feeling you get when start a new book and immediately know it’s going to be amazing? You know that magical feeling that takes ahold of you and your heart from the very first word and just lets you feel it all in the best and most memorable way? It’s that feeling that owns you, that makes you heart skip a beat or two, and that makes you know without a doubt that every word, every paragraph, and every moment of that book will give you it all and then some.

There is nothing I enjoy more than good foods, friends, and a delicious glass of wine. Except for a book about good food, friends, and delicious wine. Throw in a bit of romance and I was instantly hooked!

Shelby is a small town chef and food blogger with big dreams. Hoping to further her career with The Food Network, she finds herself working with ex NFL star Zach Wolff. Now a successful wine maker, Zach is hoping a strong review from Shelby can combat the negativity his winery received

OMG! I read a beta copy of this book and I am absolutely in love with the story setting and characters and has the essence of chic-lit and the recipes in this story will make you want to cook everything they are making and eat it all! And to add to that I just saw the cover of the book and it is so beautiful!

I really can't wait to read the final copy of this book.

The Sweetness of Life is now live! A new review will be posted after I am finished with the published copy. :-)

5 stars of amazingness!

I have been so excited for a new book from Kathryn Andrews and boy was the wait worth it! The Sweetness of Life was a brilliant enemies to lovers story with all the southern flair. The turbulent push and pull between Shelby and Zach made me turn page after page. I loved the characters, the exquisite descriptions of scenery, and all the food and wine. This story broke the stereotypical love stories we’ve all read and up until the very end, I wasn’t sure how their story woul

The Sweetness of Life is utterly delicious in every sense of the word, and is a love story that will no doubt leave you thirsty for more.

As with all Kathryn Andrews novels, once you pick this one up, you'll be hard pressed to put it down until it's been completely devoured.

Not only is the writing beautiful, but the recipes that have been wound thoughtfully through the book are equally as fabulous. This is so much more than your average romance novel, and I dare you not to fall for it.

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.

Their distaste for each other is mutual. Two weeks is all they need to survive; two weeks can change everything.

Where do I begin with this story...? I literally loved every page. From start to finish I was enthralled into Shelby and Zach's story. Kathryn Andrews has delivered an excellent story, written both beautifully, and captivating. She has this magical way with words that has your heart so full of love, and admiration, it almos

This was my very first Kathryn Andrews book and it was absolutely amazing. This most certainly won't be my last and I look forward to meeting her in NYC for a signing.

I am not going to lie...that I clicked all the recipe links at the end of each chapter and I totally want to try a few of them out. Each recipe corresponds with something in the chapter that makes you feel like you are part of the story.

This enemies to lovers romance is one that will stick with me for awhile.

This was my first book by Kathryn Andrews and it was such a DELIGHT! Setting the scene at a gorgeous, welcoming vineyard, I was immediately captivated by the images painted by Kathryn. The family owned vineyard created a stage for a hate-to-love you romantic tale.

Shelby is a well known chef and anonymous blogger in Southern Georgia. She loves her food, passion for happiness, and her family of friends. I loved her character; her sense of joy-de-vivre was contagious. Her nuances made her absolutel

This is my first book of Kathryn Andrews and definitely not my last. This book is not your average love story and it would leave any romance craving critic wanting more.

This book was beautifully written with mouthwatering recipes leaving the reader to devour them. The characters were perfection; Shelby’s determination and strength versus Zach's arrogant and troublesome personality is what makes these two polar opposites; the perfect recipe for sweetness.

I love this author's writing style.  Delicate, yet emotive.  And this book is a beautiful example of that.

I enjoyed the unfolding of the relationship between Shelby and Zach.  And although you may have been able to see what was coming, that is completely irrelevant to the enjoyment of the story.

The character development, the story arc and the strength of the writing all combine to make this a wonderful literary escape.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

What a wonderfully sweet and tempting read. I loved this book so much that I swear I want to read it again. I loved the well written story line, the feelings that ran the gambit between the two lead characters, the angst and sexual tension. The characters are well written and very well defined and so extremely likable that you really want this book, this story to play out to through the rest of their lives. Zach, the ex-football player now winery owner is hot, successful, sweet, considerate....e ...more

I've really enjoyed Kathryn Andrew's writing in the past and I definitely don't feel any differently when it comes to The Sweetness of Life. Overall, I thought this was a fun read. I was instantly drawn into the story from the very beginning. I especially loved how Kathryn included recipes that were related to each chapter. The animosity is strong from day one with Zach and Shelby. I hated that Zach didn't really seem to give Shelby a chance based on what he assumed about her from catching only ...more

4.5 stars!!! I adore Kathryn Andrew's writing, she either decimates me with her emotional reads or has me full of the warm and fuzzies with her romance and of course both. The Sweetness of Life was one of those love/hate relationships. Set in a vineyard, the ambience and setting was captured perfectly and when a chef and food critic is recruited to do a piece on the vineyeard the owner is not impressed having already been the victim (incorrectly so) to the damage they can cause.

What a fun read that reminds us to not judge people or have preconceived notions about another because you could lose that once chance to find your true love.

Shelby is a chef and blooger who is offered the opportunity to work with a regional winery to pair her southern food to their wines. Zach is the owner of Wolff Winery and is looking for the exposure to the winery. From a previous encounter Shelby and Zach had met previously and it wasn't a good memory for either of them. The Sweetness Of Life is an adorably sweet enemies-to-lovers story. Zack and Shelby didn't exactly hit it off when they were set up on a blind date, and now, months later, they are paired together for a special magazine article she'll be writing about his family's vineyard. Will they be able to set aside their differences and distaste for one another in order to get the job done?

At times, I thought that Zack was being unnecessarily jerky and not giving Shelby a fair chance because she didn't hav

Shelby and Zach story of twenty emotional dimension of perfection. I was invested and dragged the story on so I wouldn't be at the end. I loved the emotional struggle, misunderstanding, growth, and support from beginning to end. This was a romance, Kathryn started it truly from beginning to end. Ups and downs, back and forth, confusion and happiness. The journey, the adventure, and the trust.... PERFECTION.

I just love Kathryn Andrews' books. She has this way of writing characters and storylines that just completely immerse you into that world. The feelings, the connections, the recipes (gah, those recipes, I want to try them all) and the depth of it all just makes for great read or what I like to call "A Great Escape".
The Sweetness of Life had me hooked right from the start. Kathryn took the overdone sub-genre of Enemies to Lovers and made it her own. It was refresh

I was lucky enough to win an advance copy of this book.. I'm so excited that I did! I'm a big fan of this author and was counting down the days until it's release..

Shelby and Zach started out on the wrong foot due to a huge miss understand. I'm gonna be honest I didn't like Zach at first but he grew on me.. I loved the fact that Shelby had a back bone and stood up for herself. As the story unfolds you end up falling in love and rooting for them. The story is a perfect mix of humor and tension,

I love reading a book and being able to tell that the author put a lot of thought into how she wanted the story to unfold. I all of the components of this story worked so well together, it really made me want to hop into a car, and head south for some wine and food!

Kathryn made you believe you were you were right there with the characters, surrounded by this beautiful setting, experiencing everything the characters were. She made me wish I was a wine expert and a foodie.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Shelby and Zach’s story. Shelby and Zach first met when one of her best friends set them up on a blind date that went badly. Now just when she thinks she is getting the job of her dreams she is forced to work with him. Can they work together with all the anger between them? He hates everything he thinks she represents that is until he spends time with her and gets to know her. Now he wants her but how c

I have been reading this book on and off since it came out. Life just has plans for you and i have a belief that books come into people’s life sometimes when the story is needed. This book is my favorite read this year making me wish I had stopped to smell the lavender. I love the concept of a southern recipe at the end of each chapter and I’m looking forward to making a couple and even changing some family recipes because of them.

The Sweetness of Life was my introduction Kathryn Andrews and her writing and I'm so glad about it. This book is a lovely twist on you typical romance novels and it was delicious.

After having endured what was probably the worst date ever, Shelby and Zach find themselves once again in each other's presence. This time thrown together for work. As much as they dislike each other they each need this opportunity to work out, too. As they work together and spend more time with each other, it becomes

Shelby is a fantastic chica. She fashionable- always in her high heels, witty and knows how to whip up some delicious plates in the kitchen.
In comes Zach the master of wine. The two combine make things magical including in their hearts. When no one's looking.
