Note to Readers: Chamaeleon (Book 3.5 of The Stardust Series) must be read before Vega to fully understand the storyline.

Haley walked away from Knox, Theo, Chase, Jackson, and Liam, believing it was the best thing for everyone. But, when Theo and Knox appear in Portland months later, pleading for her to come home, she can’t find the strength to refuse.

With a radical plan in place, Haley returns to Santa Cruz, more determined than ever to keep Team Jaguar intact. Will her growing connection with each of the guys ultimately lead to happiness, or will it all end in heartbreak?

reread on April 19 2018: I had forgotten how much the last chapters where emotional!

Rating : 3.5 stars

Interviewer: Which guy is your favorite?
Marguerite: Hm... Liam. And Knox. And Jax. And Theo. And Chase.
Interviewer: So... all of them?
Marguerite: That's kind of the point duh.
Interviewer: Which one would you loose your virginity too?
Marguerite: Oh my, don't ask things like this with such a straight face!
Interviewer: You're not answering...
Marguerite: Ain't I?
Interviewer: Moving on... Are you eager to read the next (and last) book?
Marguerite: Eager doesn't even begin to cover it.
Interviewer: What would you like to see in book 5?
Marguerite: Haley in a bad position and her knights in shining armor coming to help her!
Interviewer: That's not very feminist, is it?
Marguerite: So? Am I not allowed to enjoy some damsel in distress time? Damn, way to ruin the mood pal.
Interviewer: Apologies. Ok, let's wrap it up and see you next year!

Vega picks up with Theo and Knox in Portland to get Hailey to come back to Santa Cruz. They offer her something unusual...the chance to date all of them. Hailey reluctantly agrees and the story focuses mostly on her dates with each guy. The dates were awesome and really fun to read.

There is some movement on Hailey's dad's case, but its minor. There is also the return of a form main character that causes some trouble. Through all that though, the focus really is on the budding relationships and Hailey's struggle. She tells 2 friends about her unusual situation. One is supportive and one is totally horrible. Its actually pretty realistic honestly! I was totally surprised at who she had sex with first. I was not expecting it to be

I can hear it now. "But Britt...if it is on your favorites shelf, why is it only a 3 stars?"

I'll get there. This book is flawed, no doubt, but...

It's still a guilty pleasure to read these books. I can't imagine how a reverse harem would actually work in real life because I'm a jealous bitch and I know that I couldn't share my man with anybody else so I don't see how 5 guys can share Haley.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Spoilers for the previous books beyond this point.

So we pick up where we left off in the novella. Ethan has left the team like a jackass. Haley has run off to Portland to get away from the team and she is working to solve her father's case with him. She is lonely and misses the guys desperately. When the guys show up. Knox and Theo basically show up on her doorstep and tell her that they all want her and willing to share. So they convince her to go home where she is now to date all 5 hunky sexy drool worthy men (one has an English accent. Hello Nurse!).

This book is literally all about relationship development. It is not about making progress towards a case or anything like that. There is very little drama. It's sort of like a plot what plot situation because Haley just bounces from guy to guy. Which is kind of okay in my book. She needs some comfort in that regard and the other books have been moving at a glacial pace. It needed to move forward and some of the sexual tension needed to be addressed.

All that being said, I got a little sick of her just making out with everybody. I wanted a bit more than that. Not sexually but I wanted someone to have a deep revelation about their life. I wanted something grand and I was a bit disappointed by the lack of that kind of development.

So that took it down a star. The final star?

But despite all that, I'm still going to finish this series. There is only one book left and unless everybody ends up dying, it's going to be a happily ever after which I'm completely okay with.

Edit: Okay so I have figured out who Theo reminds me of or who I keep imagining Theo looks like. I keep seeing Nate Ruess and Eddie Redmayne. Does anybody else have opinions on what you envision for these guys?

YEEESSSSSSS!

Hayley is back in Santa Cruz and she's living the dream. She's figuring out her life, she's in contact with her dad and she is dating 5 amazing men. Her life would be perfect if it weren't for the constant fear of being exposed by people who want to destroy her father. In this book, Hayley explores her relationship with Team Jaguar and learns how to deal with her feelings for the guys and how to handle them in public. Will their insane relationship plan work or will everything fall apart?

I've been waiting for this book seemingly forever (it hasn't been long, I'm just extremely impatient) and to have finally read it I'm so filled with conflicting emotions. This book was so amazing and so much more happened than I expected. I was scared that half of the book would be Knox and Theo trying to get Hayley back to Santa Cruz. Luckily, it's a small portion and she comes to her senses quickly. I thought I had a favorite guy before this book l but now I'm conflicted. OH. And semi spoiler. Ethan comes back to visit.

I LOVED this book. The series just keeps getting better. The wait for Polaris will be painful.

I have really enjoyed this series so far! It was a little slow going in the fist 3 books, but in this book it finally picks up and you get more into the relationships. Don't get me wrong I like the sexy time, but it's always the relationships and the connections that make a good book for me. Very glad that one of the guys in the original group is gone and now it's going to focus more on the core group. I hope the series keeps going and we see more development from the girl MC.

This series was so exciting for me, because this is my first reverse harem story since Laurell K Hamilton wrote the Meredith Gentry series back in 2000. I absolutely loved it! I have to confess I did not even know that reverse harem has become its own genre. I was reading the first and second books really wondering how this was all going to play out. This is a contemporary setting and not normal for our time. In fantasy and urban fantasy it is real easy to make it believable when they can be guardians or protectors and an acceptable way of life. I was really relieved when the solution was presented to her in the 3rd book. I would never have been able to choose. What a lucky lady! The authors have done a fantastic job giving all these amazing men there own personalities, and really made the connection between them all believable. The struggle was real people, there was no good choice. I so appreciate that time was given for true feelings to develop, and our lucky heroine didn't just start sleeping with all of them right away. The storyline was pretty good too. I cannot wait to see how this all plays out.
Highly recommend!

Vega begins where the previous book left off. Haley has been found by the guys, and she's not sure if she should go back or not. But when they come up with several solutions to her problems things get interesting for Haley and the rest of the guys quickly.

This was a great addition to this series. I loved Haley's relationship with the guys, and how they all did a good job making everything work out okay. I also really loved the fact that Haley is now going to be working with them to an extent, and I look forward to more in that.

The only thing I didn't like was how Haley kept letting her friends influence what she thought about her relationship, that bugged me a lot. But other than that, I really thought this one was very good, and I can't wait for more.

Vega, book 4 of the Stardust Series is exactly what a reverse harem should be. This is a well written book. The characters have depth. It's sexy, sweet, and entertaining. At no point does it become ridiculous and force the reader to suspend all sense of logic to continue reading. It progresses at a natural speed, especially considering their ages. Autumn Reed and Julia Clarke represent the best of this genre.

After running Haley has spent the last several months in Portland, but now Theo and Knox have come to try to get her to return. She had two reasons for running away. The guys feel that they have handled the first and have a solution for the other. Haley's not sure that their plan will work, but she wants to return home. She's missed the guys as much as they've missed her, so she's willing to try.

I could not have asked for anything more with Haley's return to Santa Cruz. She's taking more control of her life. She has focus and a future using her brains and putting her talents to use. She is now an equal. She has a close girlfriend in Kara. She has 5 incredible guys. She is spending time with all, seeing to their needs, falling in love with each of them. Each guy gets a good amount of time. There is group time, but each guy gets individual dates and alone time. No one is overlooked. She has a singular connection with each guy and each guy holds a special place in her heart (mine too). I feel that we now know each guy so much better. Team Jaguar, Jax, Liam, Knox, Theo, and Chase offer up romance, sweetness, tenderness, and sexy times every opportunity that they get with Haley. I have a new favorite each chapter. Theo's enthusiasm and sense of fun, Chase's vulnerability and sweetness, Liam's charisma and charm, Jax's intelligence and common interests, and Knox's protectiveness and loving. Of course, this had to be a reverse harem. No female could possibly choose! They also share pieces of their past, personal dreams, and their hearts. Haley's happiness is of utmost importance and binds them all together when insecurities surface.

This book was pleasing in every possible way. It elicits every type of emotion. The wait for Vega was well worth it and I am now looking forward to 2018's Polaris!

YES!

I got annoyed in parts of this book, but oddly enjoyed that everything wasn't perfect at the same time; which is a little more realistic.

Liam and Jax are hands down my favs; but still, love the others! Well, Chase is a little vanilla for me, but that's totally a flavor too... Vanilla is a good palette cleanser > Okay, irrelevant icecream notions aside - Chase is a great character, just the softest and more traditional of the guys. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Excited for book 5. Liam better be more in the picture, than this book. I guess it would be difficult to write a series like this, and not sideline certain characters to develop others; especially in this 'phase' of their taboo relationship.

5/5

I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this series a year ago. It gets better and better with every new book, making me love the story and it's characters even more. Vega was exceptionally good and I liked that we got to see each of the guys from a different side. Every new date revealed something new about them, that we weren't privy to before and I really felt like I got to know the characters better.
And I liked the mood between Haley and team Jaguar. They were all so awkward around each other (at least, Haley was) but in a totally endearing way.
To sum things up, I can't wait to get my hands on the last book of the Stardust series.

Vega

Haley is finally finally admitting she wants all 5 guys. I adore Knox and Jackson, Chase more than the others including Liam and Theo. I still don't see how this relationship(s) could truly work, but this is also a fictional story. What is her dad going to say? Hmm, happy reading!

"Vega" is book 4 of the Stardust series, but is actually the fifth book due to book 3.5. In Vega, Haley is reunited with the guys. Readers who have been impatiently waiting for the romance to step up will be very happy to see Haley actually start dating the men who have become so important in her life. And Ethan, who left in book 3.5, also makes a comeback, but probably not in the way most readers are expecting.

While there is a lot of progress on the relationship front, there's not too much more development of the side plots involving Haley's dad and the bad guys. While Haley does get to go on a mission with the guys and some dramatic stuff happens, there's not too much action or suspense in this book compared to some of the previous books. The major developments revolve mostly around the guys simultaneously dating Haley and her struggles with wanting them all and not knowing how to choose.

I've enjoyed reading this series and seeing how the story unfolds, the characters develop, and the relationships progress. Autumn and Julia have done a fabulous job and only seem to get better and better with each book they publish! I can't wait for the next book, though I'm saddened that there's only one book left until the series ends.

My review for Vega will not contain any spoilers, I really can't tell you anything that the authors themselves have not released. But I can tell you it was awesome! That questions get answered, while new ones arise. Do they all find their way back together? That is answered. I can tell you that you will find the answers to questions like, Does she see her father again? Is she still in danger? Will she join the team? Does she agree to date them all? I will not tell you the answer, or even give a hint, sorry. 😉 But I can tell you that with each book this series keeps getting better and better, which I don't know how because I loved it from book one. I can tell you that each of the guys just get hotter and more lovable. That they each have their own personalities that are compatible with Haley. I loved everything about Vega, and you will too. These ladies did a fantastic job, and as always I patiently wait for the next!

I love this series and Vega is no exception, other than it takes everything to the next level, big time. It is perfectly balanced, with stress, strain, anxiety and angst going head to head against love, friendship, trust and commitment.

Clarke and Reed take the reader on an emotional rollercoaster where at certain points you want to scream "more, more, give me more dammit" and "what the hell?!".

The men, if possible, are even sexier than before and it's fantastic to see their characters grow. I won't answer the question whether the relationships with Haley put a strain on the Team because you just have to read it to find out. The dialogue is funny, to the extent I was gigglesnorting out loud, and yet it continues to push forward the plot without curbing the momentum.

It's a page turner so be prepared to read into the night without putting it down 😍

Well, authors, Autumn and Julia truly and completely blew me away with Vega: Book Four of The Stardust Series!!! From Haley reuniting with her guys after she went away, to her first kisses with some of the guys, to her worries of their relationship, to her newfound confidence, to her friendship with Kara and her fight with Jess, to her bantering and flirting with Jackson, Theo, Chase, Liam, and Knox, to her dates with them, to her shaky peace with Ethan, and finally, to her first time with Knox... this book was everything. I absolutely loved Haley's sassiness and boldness, and her strong, intelligent, commanding, yet shy and sweet personality. But we can't forget her charming, handsome, sexy, and sweet Team Jaguar, because without them this book wouldn't be the same. There wasn't one part that I didn't like; and I'm already looking forward to the next book: Polaris!!!

No spoilers, but I think that readers who enjoy this series are going to love this book. I know I did. This book picks up where Chameleon left off, so if you haven't read that one, read it before Vega. I enjoyed getting to know Jax better in this book, and seeing more of how he interacts with the team, and how he relates to Haley in this book. Bonus, we get to find out what they really do. Jax and Knox have moved up to the head of my favorites (sorry Theo), and I liked seeing different sides to Liam and Chase. While I am looking forward to Polaris, I will be sad for this series to come to an end. I received and ARC for this book for an honest review. (Note: I already pre-ordered this book, and will be ordering hard copy when available.)

This is the 4th book in The Stardust Series, a slow burn reverse harem set in a contemporary, non-paranormal world.......and it is my favorite of the series to date. This book is filled with all kinds of romance from beginning to end - sweet, humorous, aching, heated - and no matter which guy is your favorite (#whychoose?) there are scenes for you. If you are like me then every guy is your favorite when you are reading about him, thus the whole book was a joy for me. I know I will be sad when the series is over but still can't wait for the fifth (and reportedly final) book next year. I hope the authors see into my dirty mind and grant me at least one threesome scene - Liam and Jackson, anyone? Heck, I better not start down the road as any number of configurations will come to mind!

While I have loved each subsequent book in this series more than the previous one, this one blows them all out of the water. If you were waiting for this book to take a more RH turn, I feel that this is the book that really focused on the characters and their relationships. I absolutely love character-driven stories, and this book gave me what I wanted and more. I felt that we got to learn more about all of the guys and that in turn helped give personality and life to their relationship with Haley.

I read RH stories for the relationships, the growth, individual people coming together to make one relationship work. This book hit the mark, and I cannot wait for the next book.

The story of Haley continues where Chamaeleon finished. So she is with Theo and Knox. They talk to her about what happened. She confesses what was on her mind. She decides to go back with Theo and Knox and agrees to date all of the guys. Jackson, Liam, Chase, Theo and Knox agreed to all date Haley. Haley starts to get comfortable but than she receives a text from Ethan. What happens? Well you'll have to read the book to find out! It's a must read and I personally can't wait for Polaris to come out.

*I did receive this book for free to give my honest opinion. I did buy the first couple in the series but the authors were awesome to sent me this book*

I've become obsessed with all things Autumn Reed and Julia Clarke! Book 4 is everything I wanted and more! In Vega, we get to see new sides of characters that I have fallen in love with even more. I've also changed teams too! I love Hailey's relationship with the guys in Vega. In book 4 you not only get to see the characters grow within the story but we also get more back story into their lives, as well as watch their relationship with Hailey continue to grow. Now I can't give any more away or that will spoil all the fun but I will say for those who have asked for more romance out of the story you will not be disappointed with book 4!
