What a way to bring in the Masters’ Admiralty! Lila DuBois and Mari Carr amazed me with the story of Rose, Wes and Marek and I cannot wait to see where she is going to bring the Masters’ Admiralty. My only hope is that they tie both factions together and not leave the Trinity Masters behind.
Rose was broken. Between her past and her kidnapping, you would expect a shattered person who just wouldn’t be able to take anymore. Her surprise at who her kidnapper was did nothing but enrage her and make her more determined to exact revenge on everyone.
Wes was broken. Spending his life in hiding, trying to find the true secrets of the Purists, watching the woman he loves with another man, has taken its toll on this battered and bruised man. He had to make choices that he thought would protect those around him only to find out that he may have made the wrong decisions and assumptions.
Marek is not broken. He will end up being the glue that holds it all together. He’ll be the voice of reason. He’ll be the one to get Rose and Wes to see that they aren’t broken. He’ll also be the one that may end the Trinity Masters.
We are introduced to the Masters’ Admiralty through Tristan and Marek’s grandmother. We find out just how they fit in or don’t fit in with the Trinity Masters. It’s going to be interesting to see exactly where everything is going to go.
What I loved most about this installment of the Trinity Masters was how the authors took a serious story and were able to instill a little humor. They were able to bring out a part of Rose that we hadn’t seen in the past. They gave Wes something to smile about. Marek was freaking wonderful! I loved how all the characters interacted with each other and complimented one another. This story was truly a masterpiece and a fitting beginning to the Masters’ Admiralty.

Beloved sacrifice wasn't the book for me. I skipped half the book because I wasn't able to get into the story and to get the characters. I have started series from books #11 and more and I was able to get into the setting of the universe far more easier than I was with this book. I wasn't a fan of this triad. I skipped at page 100 and they still hadn't done anything romantically speaking. I don't feel like giving another chance to the series to be honest and I was in a dilemma about the rating. I rarely give one star to the book, but it was a lot on my mind when I was thinking about the rating. I usually like Mari Carr's books, but I wasn't a fan of this one.

4.5 stars for a great book, with the very damaged h is found by the man who had loved her for years but believed he couldn't ever be hers. He had to work hard to get her to accept him. The other H was wonderful, so strong and I liked how he determined very quickly that they belonged to him. Yet he was until then straight. I know, I know this is a formulaic story, but this one worked well for me.

I don't think I have enough words to express how much I adore this amazingly written Trinity Masters series. And Beloved Sacrifice is my favorite to date!
There's a perfect balance between the romantic suspense and the hot AF sexy times within these triads. I love the newish twist of adding a task completion before they are married. But Beloved Sacrifice is a bit different from the past books--this time we're introduced to the Masters' Admiralty. And wow, does the crazy commotion begin.
I love that Rose finally gets her happily ever after, because with all that she's been through, all that she's had to deal with, she so very much deserves every happiness. I also adored Marek and Wes and their interactions and how their relationship developed too. It was fun and smart and sexy--even when their lives were at risk.
And let's not forget the set up with Tristan Knight and the Masters' Admiralty. This spin off series is going to be just as intense and amazing as the Trinity Masters and I cannot wait! ~ Missy, 5 stars

The book covers all the bases; intrigue, mystery, suspense romance and hot, steamy sex. The premise of this series is intrguing. Three very diverse people brought together and bound into a trinity that will most likely lead to love and a lifetime commitment.
I was drawn to Marek from his introduction. His cool demeanor and gentlemanly behavior were the catalyst for bringing Rose, Weston and he together. Weston and Rose are both so damaged emotionally, psychologically and in Weston's case physically that it's going to take someone with a gentle, compassionate and strong will to give them what they need to heal and become whole. That's Marek.
Weston finally unravels the mystery of the purists and it's not pretty. Caught trying to obtain the last piece of the puzzle of the purists, Weston, Rose and Marek are forced to reveal their findings to the Grand Master. Fortunately Grand Master Juliette's husband has the missing piece of the puzzle and together they set out to round up the purists.
We are introduced to the European counterpart of the Trinity Masters: The Admiralty Masters. TriIstan Knight is our introduction to the Admiralty and definitely an intriguing character.
I love this series because it is so well written with strong, compelling characters and intelligent, complex storylines. Lila Dubois and Mari Carr are masters of their craft and their reading audience an extraordinary reading experience.

I have to admit that although this one ended up about where I expected, the path it took to get there was not at all what I'd been guessing! I know that technically, these are all written so that the HEA is stand-alone, but frankly, you'd miss so much in this book if you haven't been reading the series all along. So if you're planning to pick this one up "just to try", stop and go back to the beginning. It's worth it!
The only thing I found a bit disappointing is how quickly Marek slots into his place. Rose and Wes have history, but Marek never seems to question or have a doubt or anything. I know he's a bad-ass guy and I'd likely not kick him out of bed, but his absolutely surety in the face of... nothing, makes him a bit inhuman.
I still loved it though. I lost track of the number of times I read to the end of a section and heard, "Duh, duh, duuuuuhhhh..." in my head.

When I started this book it was to realize that I never read the other 8 books, thus making it harder to understand some of the things, but not that hard, well who am I kidding right?

Before she has a chance of even taking revenge she is kidnapped and upon waking up she finds her self in England with a man she was sure was dead.
Some one is sent in to rescue Rose and now she has to decide is she will keep running or stand and fight against the same people that damaged her beyond any understanding.
Will she survive, will she and the men she loves manage to prove and rectify all the wrong done to her.?

A very well written story that has lots of romance and passion in it. There is not that many hot scenes but this book gives a lot to the mystery theme.
It is the ninth in the Trinity series and I recommend to read the others first to get the whole part of the story straight.
I love the twists and turns in this story and it adds a lot to the drama and the exciting mystery and story.
I went through whole my emotion scale during this story. Some scenes surprised me other made me gasp and shocked. You feel with the characters all the way through the story and that is because of the way the authors have written the story. It is amazing.
It is filled with lots of love and hope. I give four stars because you really have to have read the other eight to get some of the things in this story.

OH My Word! This Book took my breath away. I love reading and re-reading all the Trinity Masters books and wait with baited breath for the next one to come out. I actually stayed up and read this book from cover to cover (well on my kindle).
This book answered so many questions that were left unanswered in the last book BUT gave us so many more to think about. There are many moments in this book that I wanted to reach thru my kindle and slap some adults for the way they treated the characters as children, other times I wanted to shake those same characters and tell them grow a spine and don't be a victim. YOU need to read this book to understand. Another really great thing about this book I will say is simply 2 words

Mari Carr and Lila DuBois have done it again! This story is packed full I'd action and adventure, from beginning to end! Mystery, intrigue, love and betrayal keep this book moving along at a fast pace.
Rose is such a tragic, misunderstood character, and I was prepared to completely hate her at the end of the last book. This book explains alot about her past, as well as answering a lot of questions about the past of the Trinity Masters that has been slowly making their way to the forfront of each of the past books. This book also introduces a totally new group of characters, that I can't wait to meet in the next series!
The emotions in this book are very real. There are some scenes that might be a trigger for some readers, but they were handled tastefully and carefully, in my opinion. All in all, it was a beautiful book, that I completely enjoyed! I would recommend the entire series to anyone that enjoys action and adventure thrown in with their romance!

This *is* the best Trinity Masters book yet!!
I didn't think they could top the last few but Mari & Lila come through. Strong yet damaged (but repairable) characters. Detailed descriptions of locations without being overly wordy. The twists and turns are delightful.
It was wonderful to see Rose heal & become stronger throughout this book. Loved Marek and the 3rd of their trinity (it's a "secret" which luckily Mari & Lila don't hold out on tell us - you'll find out in Chapter 2).
This is different than prior Trinity Masters books in that the Grand Master doesn't put this Trinity together at the beginning of the book - very different way but it still worked

Loved it
Love, love, love this series. Rose's, Caden and Weston's story is emotionally draining and brutal. They suffered so much, didn't know who they could trust and worked so hard to protect Tabby and save themselves, and take down the Purist.
Loved Marek. A protector, healer, lover and advocate for Rose and Weston.
Loved his and Franco's bromance. His grandmother. Hope to see more of her.
Loved the introduction to the Admiralty. Can't wait for Tristan Knight's story. Hope to see crossing over between the TM and the MA. The world is a big place and those working for good need to be working together.

This book answered so many questions from the last several books in this series but still there were more that came up. As always this well written 9th book in the series made you feel so much. You got mad at some for how they treated others, happy that some finally found happiness and also just wonder at how could people not know what was going on. Great read! Lila and Mari have done it again!

Lila Dubois and Mari Carr are amazing! This series just keeps getting better and better. The people they create in the story are perfectly suited to their roles. There is something for everyone in Beloved Sacrifice - hot & steamy sex, adventure, suspense, humor, and deep emotions, oh and did I mention the hot & steamy sex?! This is a series you don't want to miss.

Beloved Sacrifice by Mari Carr and Lila Dubois is a good book. I read this book and it is book #9 in the series and the first I have read. I think it would really help to read all the books and in order to get the full benefit. It is a well written book with a complex storyline and characters. Lots of drama and suspense. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

This is the 9th book in this series. You could, in theory read it as a stand-alone, but books 5, 6, 7 & 8 all tell significant parts of the backstory for this book. It will be difficult to follow all of the fast paced action, kidnappings and death threats without the background.
Rose is from the dissolved trinity in book 5. She attempts to kill Trinity Master members in book 8 after they killed her BDSM partner. This man, who was killed, was the younger brother of Wes, whom Rose loved as a teen but believed to be killed years ago by his parents. Enter Marek, who the Grand Master hires to find Rose and bring her back. This is where book 9 begins, not counting the portions of the mystery that were revealed in the former books.
The story is in both the US with the Trinity Masters and in England with their counterpoint, The Admiralty. Marek has family ties to both groups, but is not a member of either. This book is more mystery/suspense than bedroom shenanigans, though they do squeeze in a couple moments. I would recommend reading this series from the beginning. Each book sets up for other books. This one sets up for Merry Old England in book 10.

Beloved Sacrifice is the 9th book in the Trinity Masters series. I have not previously read any of the books in this series...but I'll tell you, I'm going back to read them all. I loved all the intrigue and suspense in this story and if all the others are like this one I KNOW I'll be on the edge of my seat. I know that there are SOME nuances in this book that I might have missed by reading this one first but I don't believe I missed anything really important except maybe knowing how a few storylines and relationships from the first books ended up, but I believe that it won't ruin the journey for me.
I love MMF books and these are a notch above the usual stories. The Trinity relationship IS stronger when you think about having two people having your back no matter what circumstances you run across. This book was really on the edge of your seat and mysterious. You try to put the pieces together along with the characters.

In the latest installment of the series, we get more intrigue, suspense and some much sought after answers to our questions.
So many twists and turns, someone is back from the dead, who that is…well, I will leave that for you to find out. The trinity in this story has gone through so much, some physical, mental and some just downright abusive. Rose and Wes need Marek to calm them down, he had such a way about him to help then, that he was the perfect match in the triad.
Such a great love story amongst two that already had a previous chemistry but also a newfound love to perfectly connect these three hearts. Even though the stories can be read stand alone, I do think you should read at least book 8 before reading this one to get a better grasp at the storyline. I highly recommend this series.

I was a little worried about reading book 9 in a series that I haven't read at all but, while I think I would have understood what was going on faster if I had at least read books 6-8, I didn't really feel lost. That being said, I wouldn't read this as a standalone if I had a do-over.
Rose has been through a tremendous amount of bad things in her life. Every new thing that she revealed made my heart break for her just a little bit more. Both times Rose was "kidnapped" in this book and her dry humor about it made me laugh out loud. The men in this story are strong protectors, each in their own way, and the trio complement each other so perfectly. There is a ton of suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, not putting the book down until I knew what was going to happen. I'm definitely adding this series to my TBR.

Rose has been through a tremendous amount of bad things in her life. Every new thing that she revealed made my heart break for her just a little bit more. Both times Rose was "kidnapped" in this book and her dry humor about it made me laugh out loud. The men in this story are strong protectors, each in their own way, and the trio complement each other so perfectly. There is a ton of suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, not putting the book down until I knew what was going to happen. I'm definitely adding this series to my TBR.

Absolutely unbelievably fantastic book, this series gets better and better!! And I love the new direction it is taking with the spin of Masters series - just wow!
This book has intense chemistry, action packed adventure, sinister intrigue.... And I just can't find the words to do justice to the brilliant minds that have pulled together such an amazing array of characters, interconnected plots and dazzling steamy romance.
Ladies - BRAVO!!!
As an English 'lady' I would go recover with a nice cup of tea, but to my mothers disgust I don't like tea.... So a gin and tonic it is!!
I can't wait for the next adventure!!!

Carr and Dubois have done a great job getting us to what I believe may be the end of this series and the spinoff to another. One of the things I've enjoyed about the series is how it has grown and evolved from an erotic, ménage set of stories to a compelling mystery that continues to make me pre-purchase the next installment. This may be an odd confession, but while reading the last few books, I found myself rushing halfway through to get to the action-packed clues that moved the search for answers about the Trinity Master's tainted history forward.
I love the sexy parts but the mystery storyline, in my humble opinion, is what makes the series. Tell us more!

This is book 9 in the Trinity Masters series and it features Rose, Weston, and Marek. WOW! This series just keeps getting better and better. The plot twists, nonstop action and answered questions are all over the place in this last book of the series. The action was so intense at times I was holding my breath waiting to see what was going to happen. This entire series needs to be read in order to completely understand the tangled web of Purists, American Trinity Masters and European Masters' Admiralty.

I’ve read almost all of Mari Carr’s books, The Wild Irish series, The Compass series and have enjoyed all of them. I’ve only read one of Trinity Masters series. It would have been somewhat helpful to have read more but not a necessity. After a slow start (for me), I really got into the story. A great lead in to the next level, The Masters’ Admiralty. Rose and Wes are the epitome of things aren’t always what they seem to be. Marek was a the perfect balance and just what they needed. I look forward to reading the previous books along with the next series.
