Kansa by Prassant Kevin, A blue thriller. This is the one plain thriller I had came across which made me to engross deeply with the story. I always fond of thriller's and Sherlock Holmes. I can able to see Sir Conan Doyle in Prassant Kevin.

This is surely a nerve capturing read full of thrill, suspense and murder mystery. Talking about the plot of the book, it is very strong. It is purely biased on Professor Black, who's he? How he got into the case of kansa, India's leading serial killer. The ch

This was first book in Killer trilogy, ‘whodunit’ murder mystery, full of thrill and suspense with perfect pace and great characters.

If you’re from India, you might know a mythical character, uncle of Shree Krishna ‘Kansa’ in Shree Krishna tales who was a villain famous for killing new born children of his own sister. The book is titled after that character as the serial killer of the

Today is Janamstmi. Birthday of Shri Krishna, who killed Kansa (his maternal uncle). Today is 15th August too, our independence day. Is it just a coincidence? ☺.

Shri Krishna is 8th incarnation of Bhagwan Vishnu. Krishna was born in prison to devout parents – Devki and Vasudeva. At the time of his birth, his life was in danger because the tyrant Kansa was seeking to kill him. It had been foretold that Kansa would be killed by Devki’s eighth child. Someone told Kansa that anyone of Devki children

Professor Black series first installment is so thrilling and exciting that I couldn’t stop myself flaunting how much I love this book. From the very first page to the very end I almost hopped into a conclusion that this very book is worth setting competition to other authors who are writing the same genre. Coming back to Kansa, the book opens up with an astounding blurb which itself is capable of making readers to grab this book. Blurb states about 40 murders of pregnant ladies and it is believe ...more

I received this book during the lunch break at work. To pass some time, I started reading it. I couldn't put the book down. The remaining time at work didn't pass in jiffy. And I had to compulsorily keep myself away from this book. I reached home with a sole intention to finish reading it. I finished reading this book in straight two and a half hours.

This crime thriller will keep you on the edge. It will keep you hooked onto it. The story is about the case of missing pregnant women. It is

Perhaps this is the purpose of detective investigations, real and fictional -- to transform sensation, horror and grief into a puzzle, and then to solve the puzzle, to make it go away. “Kansa” by Prassant Kevin 'is a tragedy with a happy ending. A storybook detective starts by confronting us with a murder and ends by absolving us of it. He clears us of guilt. He relieves us of uncertainty. He removes us from the presence of death. Dr. Black is not just a simple detective. If we see his backgroun ...more

Kansa by Prassant Kevin is a crime thriller novel which keeps you on the edge of your seat. With its unexpected twists and turns, the book is definitely a great read.
The biggest challenge of a thriller is to keep the reader intrigued by the story. Also a big task is to keep the suspense alive. And Kansa has been successful in both the departments.
It is a story of serial killing and a psychopath who is evil incarnated. There are many characters in the book whose back stories have also been give

The overall plot was amazing. There were a lot of twists, turns & unexpected moments. The writer has described the crime scenes in a very satisfying & meticulous manner. Curiousity evolved while completing each chapter. The way by which protaganist solved the problems was quite unique. The only drawback which I felt was the langauge. The story was described in a very simple language. There were few gramatical mistakes & some points were not described properly in the book. The end was ...more

Her identities about the killer matches with the serial killer KANSA who has been hiding from the eyes of police department for more than 20 years. The case was then assigned to ACP Saargi. Review- 'Kansa' is the book one of 'The Killer trilogy' by Prassant Kevin. It was one of the most awaited crime thrillers of the year. The cover of the book introduces Professor Black to us, who is the most gripping character in the novel. He is the one, who reveals the real identity of Kansa at the end of the novel.

Saargi is yet another important character in the novel, who helps the Processor in unraveling the plot. She is an ACP at a very young age, and acts smartly throughout the novel. Her
