⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2! The Outskirts, book 1 of 2. A sweet & engaging romance about second chances, not just at love but at life, as two lost souls find love & healing in the Outskirts!

What an intensely depressing beginning to a story.................

We are introduced to Sawyer on the day of her mother's funeral and it is obvious she is part of a weird organized religious group. Her father believes women are inferior and is very physically abusive but when Sawyer finds the 'secret' box her mother left for her she knows what she needs to do.

The Outskirts is the first book in TM Frazier’s newest duet, and OMG after finishing it I’m dying for the conclusion! I wouldn’t call it a huge cliffhanger, but that twist at the end has me so anxious to find out what happens next!

Sawyer has not had the easiest life. Growing up with an overly religious and abusive father, and a mother without a backbone… she’s had it hard. She finally has an opportunity to get away from that life, so she takes it. And it takes her straight into the smal

THE OUTSKIRTS: is the first instalment in the ‘Outskirts Duet Series’ by T.M. Frazier in this we meet ‘Finn Hollis & Sawyer Dixon’

Welcome to The Outskirts: Once upon a time, Finn Hollis was known as the lord of the swamp. You either loved him. Hated him. Or feared him. Or lusted after him. Our golden boy. More popular than our own Mayor. Then one day a terrible tragedy drove him deep into the swamp to wallow in his grief. He still comes around from time to time, but sightings of him

Before I begin my review, I think it would be fitting if I wrote a “ting.” You may be wondering what a “ting” is and the only way you will find out is by one-clicking The Outskirts NOW!!!

P.S. These “tings” took the story on a whole new level. Bravo T.M. Frazier for incorporating this into the story line!!! With that out of the way, let's proceed onto my review.

The Outskirts is a visceral and utterly gripping love story of the forgotten on

Every single thing that Finn was doing to me I felt not only within my body, but in my mind, in my heart. He wasn’t just making me feel, he was opening my eyes and it was like for the first time I was able to see clearly.

T.M Frazier certainly knows how to leave you wanting more!! Whether it’s these one of a kind characters who can’t get enough of, to those what the ever loving f*ck of a cliffhanger, this author has always managed to keep us in her grasps with her storytelling and The Outskirts was no different.

Sawyer Dixon has been sheltered her entire life. While most people her age were out partying and going to College, Sawyer was in her own personal hell living with the devil himself better known as Fath

I wish I could give 10 stars to "Huckleberry" and "Tom"!!

T.M. Frazier pulled no punches with this book. We’re caught in the middle of the heart of this story right from the start. These characters were oh so broken. Finn was struggling, isolated and in pain. And the path to his old life seems so very far away.

He’s anything but fine and for two years he hasn’t let anyone in. And then along comes Sawyer. A young woman who carries her own burden
“Then you came around.”

The Outskirts is the first in the Outskirts Duet. T.M. Frazier offers an addictive read full of passion, pain, and hours of pleasure.

Some upsetting subject matter.

Sawyer Dixon has just turned 21 and she has left the scattered pieces of her past behind her: a mother who just committed suicide and was buried at a funeral, a father who played the part of a church goer but enjoyed to physically punish Sawyer and her passed on mother, and being deeply involved in a church where women are second class citizens that were told to dress and behave in a certain way.

Finn Hollis has his own troubled past that he's dealing with and his me

When you read a T.M Frazier book you should know that she is going to shock you with a jaw dropping story, you should also know, that her poignant writing will transport you to a place where you can smell the rain, feel the thunder inside your heart, and discover a kind of love only she can write, the kind that you never, ever forget.

WTF. Did it REALLY have to end like that? Sheesh. My mind is boggled. My heart is thumping out of my chest, and I am almost at a loss for words... Almost... Once again. T.M. Frazier has written a fantastic and vivid novel about two broken souls who are able to find love. The setting is PERFECT for this novel and is almost a metaphor for Sawyer and Finn's lives. The love story is absolutely beautiful- even though it happens quite fast
My rating indicates that I really, really liked it. And I did! The author created a very unique and surprising story with interesting characters about whom you want to read and read. I can not wait for the second part. Hope it's long!

I enjoyed this one although not near as much as the King series! The Outskirts is one of those reads that you can easily read in one sitting! I definitely didn't want to put it down!!

There is a bit of a cliffhanger, but nothing that will have you throwing your Kindle for having to wait for the next read!!! My only complaint would be that some of the pacing of the main couples relationship seemed to go too fast... Also the hero's change from being a loner drunk to wanting to live again was very q

Life is composed of a thousand tings.

With Ms. Frazier you always get something exceptional and here with this book it no different. Flawless writing, a gritty, emotional, electrifying read. Once again it is hard for me to put into words how this book made me feel.

Wow!! I did not see that coming. The great twist at the end of the book was the best. I have to admit I struggled a bit with a couple elements of this story and was hoping for a kick. In true T.M. Frazier style, she gave me exactly what I needed.

Here's the breakdown: Sawyer Dixon is left alone with her tyrannical father after her mother passes away. Shortly after, she finds a box of her mom's things that give her the means to escape. She leaves for a small town called Outskirts. While there

Oh. My. Gosh. I The Outskirts was everything I never knew I needed and more!

Sawyer and Finn are two characters I won't be forgetting anytime soon. Sawyer's had a horrible upbringing and escaping to the outskirts made her character shine. She's beautiful, strong and so inexperienced at life. Watching her experience her firsts is really quite refreshing and adorable. Finn is broken hearted and can't see a way out, watching him slowly begin to realise he doesn't have to torture himself

The Outskirts by T.M. Frazier
First in a Duet. Does not stand alone. Contemporary Romance.
It had been a bit since I sat down and completely gobbled up a book in one sitting, but when I got my copy of The Outskirts by T.M. It was almost strange how I was so transported into this sleepy, abandoned swamp town in Florida, that I felt like I watched a movie, it was so visual. I don’t think I have ever felt the need to pull
