The Blazing Star, the first book in this series, was one of the first ebooks I´ve ever read and it was the distraction I needed to help me through a difficult time in my life. I´ve always loved ancient Egypt, enough to study Egyptology, so a book dealing with time travel and the chosen one and all other tropes I love, written by a black author was something I couldn´t pass up.
