Interesting book more for its breakdown of the more famous films involving crossdressing and ambiguous sexuslity.

took me like a year to get through this but it was very interesting. loads of film recs in here, some great hidden gems and some wildly transphobic stinkers.

I found this a bit dry and clinical to be honest.

Though there are some good film references and accompanying photographs, some films are discussed in far too much detail whilst others are skimmed over.

Honestly, this read like a university thesis rather than a book.

Quite disappointing.
