Being cheated on is the worst feeling ever. When Sam called her best friend Kyrn, she immediately told her what her now ex-boyfriend, Brett, had done. That’s when Kyrn came over right away. What else are best friends for?
Sam had always told Kyrn she wished she would find a man that would love her unconditionally, instead of wanting nothing but sex from her. She guessed that was too much to ask for. But little does Sam know that she would be getting her wish very soon. Sam and her best friend Kyrn are in for a wild and crazy ride as they get kidnapped right from their very home.
Sam and Xavier continue on their wild adventures. But with Sam’s parents finally coming home, how is it going to affect their relationship? Throw in some rogues and a special visitor, things are going to get even more wild and crazy.
Is this special visitor going to make things worse? Or make them better?
Allison was never one to talk. She is quiet, shy, has no friends, and keeps to herself. She was never like that when she was younger. But when her mom died, everything went downhill. Her dad became an abusive drunk, too. Allison and her dad live now in a one-story little house, and this will be her fourth school in two years. She thinks her life will never get better. But boy is she wrong.
Tommy is the alpha of one of the biggest packs in North America. He is tall, handsome, and mateless. Until now, that is. Tommy and his friends attend Northwestern High. They happened to be joking around until they heard someone crying in a bathroom. Ever since then, Tommy has been in love.
I went into this book hoping I'd really love this book. I mean, sexy werewolves? Of course I am interested in that. Getting kidnapped by said Sexy Werewolf Alpha? Okay, that could be really interesting. But the way this book was written was way too simple for me and I was constantly annoyed.
Not to mention that the characters actions and thoughts were completely unrealistic for the situations they were put into. The romance didn't make any sense to me. The characters weren't flushed out at all, they seemed like one dimensional beings. For as long as this book was, there didn't seem to be much of a plot either. I saw no reason why the 'bad' guys were in this book at all, they were there and gone in seconds and felt as if they were just thrown in there with no point.
There was also too many characters this book tried to focus on and incorporate. It's not bad enough that there wasn't a plot, the story was written so childishly, the characters were completely one dimensional and in some cases pointless, but there was absolutely too many characters in this story. None of these characters seemed individualized. They all felt like the same character. None of the characters had any depth to them, any reason to be likable.
Two best friends alone for the holidays when a group of men turn up to kidnap them claiming they belong to them.
This is a shifter/human romance novel. Sam and her friend don't know why these men have taken them and they try to unsuccessfully escape. The characters have their funny moments and this is an easy book to read. It wasn't my favourite shifter book but it was okay.
3 stars out of 5. *ARC received in exchange for an fair review*
I read this book in three hours. I started it trying to figure out what the men were and couldn't put it down. It was very funny and had me laughing out loud a lot. I liked Sam a lot and I liked Xavier too. I like the pack as well and Kyrn and Chloe. There was a nice cast of characters but the descriptions weren't that great. It was a little confusing where they were and how close they were to where they lived. But I really enjoyed reading this story.
I found this book pretty stupid in the starting, quite frankly. It was so hard to get through the first five chapters. But after those chapters, it picked up pace and got interesting.
I found Sam and Kyrn to be a little oversmart but they were strong protagonists. I ADORED XAVIER. He was such a cutie. I loved the other characters as well. They were smart, funny and dangerous all at the same time.
I enjoyed this book thoroughly till the end. Can't wait for part 2!
I loved it. It was interesting, exciting, fun and so much more. I wanted more in depth story like her parents in it. But it was great how these two fit in with the men. And the strength surprise for the guys of the women. I recommend it but remember it has a very weird ending that leaves you hanging. I am not a fan of those at all. I was received a copy by Inkitt and voluntarily review it.
Oh my god this book was freaking fabulous I laughed cryed you name it my favourite person is Sam god I love that fiesty girl I love the story lines a good book my daughter wanted to read it however cos of her age I refused to get it her but after reading this I think I be buying her it
Well, it was a quirky read. Childish at best. The storyline was over the top having humans best big strong werewolves. But still something kept you reading. Their under reactions to being kidnapped was confusing. They attempted a few times to escape but it was lame. The characters repeated themselves and it didn't really make sense. It was the editing errors that got to me and made it so hard to read. Mistakes on every page. I highlighted them but seriously if someone just re-read it the errors just jump off the page. I didn't get beyond chapter 19 in the first book. Maybe they posted the wrong copy.
This story can have so much potential but I cannot give this story anymore then a One Star. It just did not flow and parts of the story just did not add up to one chapter to the next. The characters were quite immature especially the parents. I didn't hate this book but I didn't like it much either. Again can have so much potential. Premise was good, but execution was horrible. Weak werewolves who not only couldn't protect their homes, territory or people, but also were beat up by human females in one on one encounters. Completely unrealistic responses to situations the girls were in. Dialogue was painful to read. And why was the title about Greek gods? No Greek mythology in the book at all, or even regular Greek people for that matter.
*Arc in return for honest review. It's another stereotypical werewolf story with everything that you would expect nothing new. The plot didn't really interest me. What really disappointed me were faults in the book like ''remained'' in stead of ''remembered''. It's like the book still needs a proofreading. Would not recommend this book until at least that is fixed.
#1 un libro divertido, aunque necesito el resto para dar una buena crítica, hasta el momento me gusta que el libro este lleno de comportamientos infantiles y muestren cómo se comportarian dos chicas adolescentes.
I absolutely love this three book and read them very quickly. I loved all the characters in the book. The plot was very good, and the humor even better.
