There were a lot of peripheral characters in this book and, especially early on, I had a little trouble keeping everyone straight in my head. The mystery (and murder) happens fast, then it’s a roller coaster ride to the end.

I enjoyed the writing style and following the clues. The romance between Harper and Finn was steamy, but slow percolating – I appreciated that because I’ve read too many insta-love romances lately, it seems. Sweet Dreams Baby was a suspenseful read that kept me interested an

This was a wonderful read! I loved the problem-solving, detective feel to it, but also the gripping thriller side to it, making it a very exciting and interesting.

I really liked the main character, and felt that the author created a brilliant lead, and surrounded that character with secondary characters that created a very well-rounded story. The author made the our leading lady very strong, intelligent and full of personality, which I loved.

The pace was excellent and really helped create a sto

I don't know where to start. What starts out as a family funeral for Harper's mother quickly goes downhill with the murder of her father. What ensues definately takes the reader on a Rollercoaster ride of epic proportions. Definately a recommended read.

Following an incident at the funeral home, Harper and her father arrive home only to find a stranger with a gun. All hope of healing the past vanishes as Harper's father is gunned down in the driveway. A fast paced mystery ensues as Harper mus ...more

I love a good suspenseful, mystery book and this book did not disappoint!

There was quite a bit going on in this book, and it definitely kept me entertained to the very last page!

This book is about solving the murder case of Judge Shaw Buchanan that his daughter, Harper Buchanan witnessed. Although they were estranged she vows to find his killer and bring him to justice. Harper hires Finn O’Rourke, a local private investigator to help her on the case. It isn’t long before they’re w

Well, I love me a good suspense, thriller, romance filled story. This book had it all!

The overall premise of the story seemed intriguing and had me interested. Once I started reading the story, I was absolutely blown away. The story was incredible. It was full of twists and turns and was chilling at times. It had a sweet little romance side of the story as well. It was a well rounded, well written, incredible read.

Get the laundry going. The crock pot on. A glass of sweet tea and a bottle of wine. Then crack it open. This one is hard to put down! Get ready for a 5 star read!

From the first few pages this reader was totally absorbed and engaged.

I loved the fast paced ride.

I loved the characters. They swept in and captured my attention.
The sparks that fly between Harper and Finn had me wanting to have a 'sit down' with them from time to time. They needed a little nudge toward each other.

This was a fun twis

Sweet Dreams, Baby

So far this is my least favorite of the series and, most definitely, my least favorite of female characters in the series. I had hope initially for Harper but I was done with her at 19%.
