Another theoretical book I had to read for college that was actually a good experience as it helped me understand many things better.

I had to read this for university, and though the subject matter doesn't interest me that much, I found the book an easy read and it made me consider language in ways I hadn't before. Good overview of terminology theory, though the practical/computer side is pretty outdated.
