If you love action and adventure, if you love Native American art, and if you love philosophical and unique discussions about the overall world at-large, especially from an American perspective, then you’ll absolutely love this novel! Well-written, with vivid imagery, a fast-paced, non-stop-action plot, and characters that you’ll grow to love as well as loathe, this is a world-wide novel written to provide some comfort in these frightening, trying times. There is nothing “soft” about this piece of work, but soft won’t save you from an evil group of thought-police who want to take over the world via the local educational system, all within the confines of “world peace.” A sharp-shooter monk, a Native American art teacher, and a cast of interesting and somewhat frightening characters tell the story of good triumphing over evil in the face of modern warfare. If you’re interested, pick up this non-stop action-packed read that would also make a great movie! Hey, Hollywood, do you ever read these? I think Bruno Jambor may have a potential script you may be interested in. If this were a movie, I’d go see it.

What a fantastic way to tell a well-articulated story
This story is a fantastic read, Bruno Jumbor has proven that there is more than one way to get readers glued to their seats without pausing to check the time. The story is full of action and with each line I read, I wanted more. This story has no dull moments. Following the character Charles DeVibo and the way Jumbor gave a vivid description of events made me feel like though I was part of the whole action. The story connects in various interesting ways.
Jumbor has successfully used real-life events and places to tell a good story. The moment Charlie figured out the plot, I knew I was going down for some super mind-blowing adventure. A CIA sharpshooter now turns Brother Augustine. I found Charlie as quite a witty character at some points and at the same time a smart fellow. His sharp shooting skill was one thing he could not disguise while embarking on his mind-blowing adventure.
I love the role Maye and her boyfriend Rodrigo played but what interests me the most is the way Charlie was able to blend in different ways. One fun fact I also love about this book is the fact that it harnesses how things work in real life rather than relying on some super not-yet-invented machine to save her characters. Whatever mess they got into they had to deal with it in the most realistic way.
This novel got me engrossed all through as I kept flipping through the pages. It left me with the same feelings I get while watching a Hollywood blockbuster detective movies. I really hope Jumbor will be making this book into series soon or at least give us a sequel.

The Desert Experience

Passage to Sunrise by Bruno Jambor is an outstanding fictional novel, but quite frankly has more non-fiction situations and reality than fiction.

Our hero, Charles DeVibo, a sharpshooter with the CIA is enlightened by the written manuscript from a dead terrorist. The message is about the power of faith and that faith will eventually rule the individual and the world. The message resonates with DeVibo and he leaves the CIA for a spiritual and unique role amongst the monks. Charles is renamed Augustine and eventually his trek of faith takes him to the Southwest part of the United States where his faith and sharpshooting skills are needed to combat an idealistic, government based secret organization.

Passage to Sunrise is an outstanding novel. The characters are well developed, the plot and story is not only intriguing, but engaging and will keep the reader enveloped in the story. It is a story of murder, manipulation, mystery, personal quest of faith and personal discovery.

Bruno Jambor is a very talented writer and has provided a thoughtfully crafted novel that will appeal to the adventurer, the spiritual crusader, the person who enjoys the beauty of the Southwest and the value of friendship and doing the right thing.

Author Bruno Jambor has included some of the characters from his first book, “Wildfire in the Desert” in his new page turner “Passage to Sunrise”. The main character Charles DeVibo is intriguing to follow as he journeys through his life wherever it may take him, searching for truth, beauty and goodness. Charles leads a life full of diverse undertakings; as a CIA sharp shooter who works with SEAL Special Forces, as a Monk who has a great love for the Latin Mass, as a desert survivor and as a loyal friend to others. The enemy in the novel is depicted as a quasi-governmental agency, and through the eyes of their characters you are given the opportunity to see just how easily and effectively evil can infiltrate the educational and religious institutions of our society. Bruno Jambor’s book is well researched and is very well timed to coincide with the current spiritual battles that are encircling our world today.

Fantastic story

Passage to Sunrise: A Novel by Bruno Jambor is a fast paced and exciting story. It follows CIA agent Charles DeVibo as he discovers a plot to destroy the ancient faith that gave life to the western civilization. DeVibo ends up back in his homeland of Arizona to go undercover as Brother Augustine, he is quickly found and has to team up with Maye who is a Navajo artist and her boyfriend Rodrigo in a dangerous and page turning adventure in the desert where DeVibo has to use his sharpshooting skills to keep himself and his friends alive.
Overall I enjoyed this book, it was fast paced enough to keep me interested and turning pages. I found Jambors writing style to be a good mixture of fiction mixed with well researched nonfiction facts worked in. He creates personable and intense characters that make me want to get to know them better. I’m not sure if this is going to be a series or not but I find myself hoping so, I want to read more from Jambor!

The more I read the more I was intrigued to know what happen here, what could happened there and as I turn the pages more questions comes to my mind, this is a really good book.
From CIA agent to going undercover to track a dangerous plot that could change the world forever, this is in many ways like all the action-packed stories out there and at the same time it brings something new and exciting to the genre, with well written characters and coherent action throughout the story, the setting is constantly changing but even here there is a reason why so it’s nice to see someone finally caring for little details like how the characters change from a certain place to another in a glimpse.
There was definitely something different about this book that separates itself from the rest but with good reason, I could easily see this become a movie in the near future, and I hope there are more books to keep reading this amazing author.

Passage to Sunrise is a mystery, action, adventure, and philosophy, novel all round into one interesting story. While the plot of one man against a ruthless group (that is bent of changing people's thinking in a specific direction) was intriguing enough, the idea that caught my attention was how some intelligent and evil minded people could mold the thinking of the masses through planned strategy and by targeting the education system. The author Bruno Jambor indirectly warns us that we should not be so busy in our lives' struggles that we fail to see the subtle but striking influence that people have on our minds. We should come out of our shells and see any abnormality thriving around us.
The story is presented in an unique manner and it was some pages before I got the grasp and interest of it. Hence, the four star. Otherwise the characters look real and the scenario very much possible. Passage to Sunrise is an unique story that is entertaining as well as thought provoking.

Bruno Jambor’s, “Passage to Sunrise: A Novel,” is a relatively decent sized novel that follows Charles, a member of a Special Forces team that uncovers a plan to destroy a faith that has great purpose and support within the western world. He ends up going undercover as a man of faith to try and figure out what is going on and soon teams up with other individuals he meets, including Maye, a Navajo artist and Rodrigo, her boyfriend, and essentially is trying to keep them alive while trying to thwart the plans for destroying large amounts of history. His sharpshooting skills come into play frequently and work as great barriers to protect his people and his goals. There are tons of action sequences that keep you interested, but nothing crazy that would push you from being intrigued or bored after a while, so it was quite a bit of fun to read.

So engrossing!

Passage to Sunrise is the story of a CIA officer who goes undercover as a monk to escape prosecution by those who deem him a threat due to his knowledge and skills. He meets up with a couple along the way and the story describes their journey to their safety and freedom. Charles, our main character, Maye and Rodrigo are fantastic characters who recognize that there is both good and evil in everything in the world. They do what they have to do survive, without always using the “good” ways to do so. The story itself is fast pacing and really grabs the readers attention. I feel like the author either really did his research here or he has some kind of military background as this feels so real. I’m not usually an action book reader but I like finding books my husband and I can read and discuss together, and this is definitely a good one.

For readers who enjoy espionage, terrorist plots, clandestine government operations and the stereotypical macho action, Passage to Sunrise by Bruno Jambor looks to be a par for the course novel. However, this one melds into something unique as it finds itself listed on Religious and Christian reading lists. I did not see that coming and to be honest, if the faith based background had been prominently declared, I might have rolled my eyes because... well, the two genres aren't traditionally paired plot-wise, right?

Mr. Jambor is a talented writer who creates memorable characters and weaves a sense of reality through his entire story that feels organic. At the end the reader finds out there is a prequel available called Wildfire in the Desert. I am a reader that drools for a prequel to a story I love so I'm sure many fans will be rushing to devour that as well.

A CIA sharpshooter masquerading as a monk? That certainly caught my attention! A fiction on themes such as religion, education as propaganda, filled with action, adventure, and a thrilling storyline is definitely something I enjoy reading.

"Passage to sunrise" is indeed a page-turner. It had me engaged and intrigued right from the beginning. The story plot is interesting and unique, characters are elaborate, and the story is filled with much action and excitement. The downside of reading a book like this is it's simply hard to put down! So be prepared to set aside time because you would certainly want to continue reading all the way to the end.

This one is hard to put down. A bit of Dan Brown, a dash of John Grishman, Jambor knows how to captivate an audience. Politics, culture and fast-paced action that kept me turning the pages one after another.

The book follows Monk Augustine (ex CIA Charles de Vibo) and his attempt to bring back faith that was deeply enrooted in Western Civilization.

This thriller will make you open your eyes and realize how evil can infiltrate through unimaginable channels. Jambor’s descriptions were top-notch; from the believable characters to an authentic characterization of desert, stoic Arizona, I loved every one of the pages.

An action-packed thriller that will keep you engaged right to the very last page.

Passage to Sunrise is filled with vivid imagery, a developed sense of place, and interesting characters. The tale of a onetime former monastic monk and CIA sharp-shooter, Charles DeVibo’s survival in the Arizona desert with the help of local Navajo artist, Maye and her boyfriend, Rodrigo is a brilliant adventure story with heart. The idea of the one man against the ruthless, faceless men of an international corporation, and the conflict of the freedom of belief and religion all play out in Passage to Sunrise.

Read this if you enjoy stories similar to Dan Brown, Stephen Berry, James Rollins, and J.D. Robb.
