It started pretty good, but then fizzled. The tension was better than the actual sex, which was meh & almost mechanical. The plot was shaky, the bad guys' scam was especially eye-rolling & character stuff didn't gel. I mean, I liked the MCs okay, but...

Yeah, just didn't work for me. I won't write this author off, though, as there were some good bits.

Oh & FYI, the story In Deep actually ends at like 34% or so. I didn't read the other 2 books enclosed.

I'm a little ashamed to admit that this book was much, much better than I thought it would be. Based on the blurb I was expecting something a little less polished, more crude, more along the lines of pure smut. This story is actually very well developed with well rounded characters and I felt the connection between Grace and Jameson. The sex scenes were definitely hot, but not in a cheap way. Because of the obvious chemistry between the main characters the sex scenes were even hotter.

I found Grace to be brave, charming, funny, and smart. She has a backbone. She may not have made Jameson suffer for long when she found out about his deception, but she did make him suffer. I absolutely loved how calm Grace stayed while she was being kidnapped. She didn't flip out or do something TSTL. I really appreciate that the author portrayed her as vulnerable without being stupid. Usually the way a heroine is caught is so eye roll worthy. Not this time. Grace was well and truly tricked, and then she rescued herself. I also appreciate that the author wasn't afraid to show that vulnerable side once Grace knew that Jameson was there and she was safe. It's no secret I love drama in my smutty romance, but I hate the drawn out push and pull. There was none of that in this book. Grace had moments of doubt, but she didn't drag them out. Even at the end when she finds out why Jameson came into her life... She knew she loved him and he loved her and didn't have to draw it out to a weeks or months long separation to make her point.

I was expecting Jameson to be an anti-H and someone I wouldn't like until the ending. Wrong. He may have had deception on the brain initially, but he quickly got passed that and saw Grace for who she is. I love how he loved Grace and was genuinely trying to get to know her and protect her. I also liked how vulnerable Jameson was. Sure he's all super SEAL and macho, but he had real feelings... At least where Grace is concerned.

This would have been a five star for me had the epilogue been longer &/or been farther into the future. Plus, I wanted Grace to get pregnant. That's not always my favorite storyline, but Grace and Jameson obviously belong together and I loved BOTH characters, so they need to have a bunch of book babies.

Very much looking forward to reading Stephania (Grace's roommate) & Eric's (Jameson's SEAL buddy) story.

Safety warning: Grace has had one previous lover. Jameson definitely isn't a virgin, but if he was a man whore it wasn't thrown in our face. No cheating. Grace was emotionally abused by her ex but that topic is not dwelled upon, it's just a detail in the story about why she ran from her ex.

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick, entertaining read. Jameson is a bounty hunter and he has been hired to deliver Grace back to Brick. He was told that she ran out and needs to pay for it. Jameson isn't sure exactly what she did but he didn't care before he met her. When he made first contact they had an immediate connection and it causes him to dig deeper. He doesn't believe that Grace is the type of person to just do wrong and so he starts digging deeper into Brick and getting closer to Grace. He wants to get closer to Grace because he wants her and wants her for good. The sex is explicit and there's a lot of it. Jameson can't keep his hands off of Grace. I thought they were adorable and just feel good even though Jameson starts in the grey area. I liked the pace and the mix of things that go on in the story. It was an entertaining and fun read.

James is a SEAL who is also a bounty hunter. his latest hunt is Grace Chambers. James doesn't ask many questions when he is paid to find and deliver someone or something. But when he meets Grace a new fling comes over him. For some reason he is immediately attracted to her and his protective instincts kick into high gear.
Grace can't believe how attracted she is to James and it is getting hard to keep things professional. Besides not wanting to get into a relationship Grace is hiding a secret.
As Grace and James give in to their attraction there is only one minor problem - Grace doesn't realize that James is supposed to take her back to Brick the man she is running from.
What happens when Brick shows up in this tiny town? And what happens when Grace finds out why James initially came onto her?
This is a quick read that will make you smile and gives you a little mystery

This book is fairly a quick read. You will get sucked in from the beginning. James is a SEAL who also happens to be a bounty hunter. His latest person he is looking for is Grace Chambers. When James gets a job, he doesn't ask many questions. He feels that he is getting paid to find someone and anything other than that is not his business. Until he meets Grace. The attraction is immediate and from there on out, his feeling have changed and he will protect her with everything he has. An issue that needs to be dealt with is Grace doesn't realize that he is after her to send her away. What will happen when she finds this information out? Will there be a happily ever after? I'm not going to tell you so you should pick the book up to see. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

I loved this book. From page one it caught me because of the well written story line. The main characters are so well described and the could be living next door to you in real life.
Jameson is an ex-seal who now lives as an PI. Grace is in a Bank, but you get the feeling that she has something in her past that she tries to escape from.
Jameson has got the job to find Grace for Brick. But Jamesons instinct tells him there is something wrong with Brick. Well the rest you have to read yourself.
This book has got it all: drama, action, romance, hot scenes, chemistry and passion. It has twists and turns that makes it difficult to stop reading until the end. It is really worth reading.
I absolutely recommend it to others. This is my honest review of a voluntarily read ARC.

Jameson is on a simple bounty hunting contract for a nice payout. His client wants him to find and retrieve his target. Grace listens to Jameson Wilcox application for a small loan, but is having trouble concentrating on what her hot client is telling her, she thinks he is cocky and forward and tries her best to stay away. Jameson never expected to fall for his target

This romantic story is told in dual POV, it is exciting romantic with a little suspense and intrigue. I really enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading more by this author

This is my first book by Lulu Pratt and I must say that I absolutely loved it! I was immediately drawn into the story and felt the attraction between Jameson and Grace from the start. The description of how hot Jameson was made me wish I could find that for myself. I especially liked how the author made Grace more realistic with her curves and how she wasn't ashamed to really eat when she was with Jameson. And oh boy the sex was hot, hot, and more hot. This is a quick read so please pick up this book. You won't regret it. I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review and I fell blessed to have done so.

A great debut novel from a new pen name. This book held me intrigued from start to finish. Jameson is a bounty hunter and Grace is his target ... whoops he wasn't supposed to feel so protective and fall head over heals in love. This book was full of romantic gestures, passion and lust. Jason is all powerful Alpha male and Grace for all her shyness is a feisty match for him. Looking forward to more books by this author and wondering what they will write next. I love SEAL stories because they're always so protective of their ladies. This one starts off with Jameson taking a job that leads him to Grace, but he quickly figures out that he doesn't have the whole story. Grace is one tough cookie herself, ready to stand up and take names in her fight for justice. These characters are very relatable, the action scenes are exciting, and their chemistry leads to some hot and steamy times. This book is truly unputdownable (yes, that's a word) and will keep you engrossed in their world right up to the beautiful HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I loved this book and it's hard not to fall in love with sexy ex-seal Jameson. He might just be my new book boyfriend. Jameson works as a bounty hunter and has been assigned to find Grace who supposedly stole a lot of money from her ex boyfriend. Jameson was not prepared for the feeling that would surface when he meets Grace. He is torn between fulfilling his job or running away with her. When her anxious ex shows up, Jameson feels that there's more to this story than he has been told. Lots of drama, suspense and surprises. Well written with a strong story line and great characters. Holy crap this was a steamy read! Jameson is a bounty hunter hired to find and capture his target. But from the moment he sees Grace there's an instant attraction. Grace isn't immune to the feeling because she feels the same way about Jameson. Soon they're giving into their attraction and just when they begin to realize that it might be more than a scorching hot attraction between them Grace's ex, the man that hired Jameson, kidnaps her. Now Jameson must get her back at all cost before she discovers who he really is. I really enjoyed the book and the premise. Full of drama, suspense, and great sexual chemistry that had me swooning. I definitely recomend it.

I received an ARC for my honest opinion. This is the first time I have read one of her books. I was extremely impressed. Grace is a loans officers and she meets Jameson when he comes in for a loan for a business. She can't figure out why he would need one since he seems to be well off. Jameson has ulterior motives because he is a bounty hunter and he is supposed to capture her. He doesn't know what she did but he wants to protect her instantly. The book is level 10 on all levels. Hotness level is a 10.

Yum. Grace is working at a bank as a loan officer when she meets Jameson. He is all she ever dreamed of and more. When he begins to flirt with her, she tries to keep it professional. However, as he persists, she finds that she doesn't really want it to be anything other than personal. Problem is that she doesn't know he is a bounty hunter and she is his target. Oh, and the other problem is his - he's interested in his target. This book is quite action-packed and delishiosly sexy. My only problem was it was over too soon.

Hot read! This was definitely a hot read and I do believe their were several times when Jameson could have admitted the trust especially after she did, but overall loved the book. Loved the connection between these to and cannot wait to see what the author comes out with next.

Jameson is an ex-Navy SEAL who is now in the business of security. Only he is sidetracked by one lovely and spirited Grace. I loved how she didn't give in to his charm and gave good sass. Jameson was definitely one hot incinerator of a man, and he's not afraid to go after what he wants. This was a fast-paced read, and there is more than meets the eye to the lovely Grace. This novella turned out to be a lovely surprise! It had great characters, writing and storytelling along with a good pacing. I adored both Grace and Jameson who were perfect for each other. It also had the perfect amount of heat and romance. The only reason why I knocked down half a star is because I would have liked to find out what happened to Brick and his brother. There was really no conclusion to how those bastards ended up.

Anywho, I highly hope that Steph and Eric gets their own story! I would love to read about them for sure.

In all, In Deep gets two thumbs up from me!!

Jameson doesn't expect to fall so hard for Grace, but she manages to get under his skin. Grace herself is cautious about her attraction to Jameson. Despite both of their original intentions, a romance blossoms.

This is a fast-paced book with entertainment and action along the way. It's one of those books that you find yourself engrossed in right until the end. I recommend it as book really worth reading.

This story is pretty intense, about a bounty hunter who's mission is to get a girl. However, he gets her in a totally unexpected why, that turns into an HEA. During the beginning of the story I was a bit confused, however, the story sticky drew me away from my confusion and I found myself devouring this story.

Jameson was hired to find Grace and return her to her ex. When he found her, he couldn't help but feel drawn to her. He wanted to protect her and found himself failing his client. Grace resisted at first but Jameson was persistent and one the hottest men she had known. Together they were electric. The attraction was mesmerizing and his overbearing protectiveness mad him even sexier. I definitely enjoyed reading this one. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.

Sizzling hot!

This story got it all: It's suspenseful and thrilling. Filled with secrets, drama, kidnapping, action and romance. The plot is engrossing and well written and the chemistry and interaction between Grace and Jameson is captivating.

I received an ARC and am giving a voluntary review. I loved this book. Yes, the sex was steamy, yes the hero and heroine hit it off almost immediately, and yes it has an HEA. BUT what makes it different is the story line and the fast pace of the story. The heroine is not helpless and the hero has flaws (gasp). A very enjoyable read.
