Very sweet - but also sad, because it reminded me of Disney's love for plucky orphans and motherless children. Merida and Rapunzel are the only ones featured in this book to still have living moms!

It's nice, though, to see an easy reader that actually gives shout-outs to the dads, even if it's only a couple of sentences explaining what the fathers and daughters like to do together.

(Nitpick - Rapunzel should have short, brown hair if she's hanging out with her dad! :-p)

Disney Pet Peeve: Rapunzel's hair CHANGED after it was cut...oy. *sigh*

Okay, focus on the positive: I thought that this would just be about her, but it was about a bunch of princesses so that was a cool surprise. And it gave me a warm feeling, seeing the girls interact with their dads. Awww....

Read this book to my children this evening for their bedtime story.
I loved how the words were easy to enunciate and simple for their understanding.
The illustrations were vibrant and clear. I always had a follow up question for my kids about the pictures.
It made them smile, so I’m happy. 😊

Sometimes there is a silent letter in a word. In apple there is a silent L. Nothing about this book. Five princesses love their dad's. Hope. Cute but not a repeater

I Love My Dad is a first reader book with five Disney princesses. Princess Merida from Brave, Princess Rapunzel from Trangeled, Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Princess Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and Princess Jasmine from Aladdin are all in this book. The book shows what each princess loves doing with their fathers. I think this book will attract a lot of children, because of the princesses. I do not know of many kids who do not love princesses, especially Disney princesses.
