I loved this book! It gives a child a very basic knowledge of all major Jewish holidays and some very important traditions. It’s a great conversation start for parents to use with kids.

This is a good first step in introducing the well-known and not so well-known holidays and customs of Judaism. As a picture book, expect it to be simple. Again this is an introduction. I'm now moving on to the adult book by the same author: The Jewish Book of Why.

One paragraph in simple language about each holiday--good for the non-Jew who wants to know a little something, but especially aimed at the 3-4 year old
