I will say I just read through the book today, I do not plan on starting until the weekend, but it was quite promising. I enjoy jump rope and was part of a jump rope workout group in high school, though we mostly just did basic jumps and did do it on concrete, which, for obvious reasons, this book does not advise.
I do have mixed feelings about the techniques being online rather than being clearly described in the book. It is not really useful for anyone who does not have internet at home.
Still, I am excited to get started with some of these workouts once I figure out a good surface to jump on as they seem simple and yet complex at the same time.

The Jump Rope Workout Handbook is a comprehensive fitness plan centered on jump rope. It is well laid out and easy to follow. The workouts are killers though, and I’ve not worked far enough to make it to the actual fitness workouts! If you’re looking for new exercise routines, this might be for you.
