Sister of Rogues by Cynthia Breeding
Overview by Amazon:
One moment Fiona MacLeod is attending a London ball, and the next she’s kidnapped and placed in the Dublin Lunatic Asylum by Wesley Alton, a madman who wants revenge on her family.
Her one bit of good fortune is that with the women’s ward at the asylum overflowing, she’s assigned a room in a nearby castle. But the more she tries to deny Alton’s cleverly concocted facts, the crazier she sounds to her keeper, the handsome Earl Kier O’Reilly.

Sister of Rogues is the 4th volume in the Rogue series, and as often I didn’t read the previous volumes. Fortunately that didn’t disturb my reading or my comprehension as some details of the previous stories are noted as the novel goes along.

An interesting and unique historical romance that took me on a different turn, Sister of Rogues was a fantastic read. With lovely romance and suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat, this book was wonderful and I really liked it.

Fiona was great. She was vivacious, tough, and refused to give up hope, even in the dire circumstances that she was in. Even though she knew her brothers would come for her, she wasn't about to just sit and wait. She was a lovely character and I liked her.
