I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed the stories and there are quite a number I especially loved. Although some of the stories feel unfinished as the backstory was not given in detail or it was just the beginning of one. I especially love Peace At Last and The Wolf's Blessing. My favourite however is The Lonely Child and I'd LOVE to read more! I think it would be a great story to expand into a book as it has a really interesting setting.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
Wow! These short stories are a perfect read if you're looking for something spooky or unexplained. They vary in content and hit several different fantasy high interest points.
Some were more interesting than others but they all fell into my realm of fantasy. 😉

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
When I read the description of this book, it seemed like the perfect read for October.
This book exsists out of ten short stories. They involve magical things such as ghosts, vampires, pixies, werewolves, etc.
I have to say the stories are something you can read pretty fast and I liked the writing style. I liked some stories more than others and I think my favorite was Peace at Last.
The only thing that bothered me about these stories and that they seem incomplete. I love the idea of all of them, but at times I felt I missed information. I get that they're short stories, but maybe expanding a few of the stories and leaving a few out would've been a better idea. I see so much potential in these stories and think I would've rated it higher if they felt more complete.
I would definitely say this author should keep on writing and I hope to see some of these short stories turn into longer stories in the future.

Well, Melody, your work is indeed appreciable.. Magic and magical creatures have indeed added a magical touch to the book. It was indeed hard to put down the enigmatic appeal of the book. Each magical creature has been uniquely designed, and that made the stories more interesting. But honestly, the stories seemed a bit short. I really wished they continued for long.
The language is simple yet nice. The blurb is short and good. The title is catchy. The plot is well chosen. The cover could have been better though. Characterisation is good!
Cover - 3/5
Title - 4.5/5
Blurb - 4.5/5
Language - 4/5
Theme - 4/5
Plot - 4/5
Overall, I must say this is a nice book, full of suspense, magic, thrill, enigma... A must read! You'll surely enjoy it!
Thank you Melody, for giving me the chance to read this book!
