Paige lives a life of rules, structure and safety. Dissatisfied with her job at her families PR firm, she struggles daily to be what they want her to be but can never measure up. When her sister steps into Paige’s latest project, despite screwing up some of the details, it actually ends up being the thing that will change Paige’s life. Instead of a literary genius, her sister has contracted a rock star to help push their new literacy campaign.

Dylan is a recovering alcoholic. Now that he’s got re

This is second in a series and characters and setup follows from the first so I recommend reading in order. Frankly, Riley from This Is Our Song is important, too, and that's from a separate series. Might want to pick that one up too, but I did fine without it.

We pick up with Dylan coming out of rehab with a lot of shame and determination. I'm not a fan of "issue" books, but this worked for me. I liked that you could see how his fear motivated him in the right ways and that he wasn't going to ta
Paige works for her family’s PR firm in LA. Her relationship is strained with her father and especially her sister. Her sister is used to sitting on Paige’s coat tails letting her do all the work until the very end where she swoops in and steals all the credit.

Paige thinks she finally has something that will show her dad what she can do and its something that she is very passionate about, Literacy Now. But Ariel once again sweeps in and finagles Paige into the position of baby sitting a Dylan An
Paige Walters works for her family PR firm in Los Angeles with her father and sister. She has always felt like an Ugly Duckling, or maybe Cinderella compared to her tall, svelte, glamorous sister and always falls short in the eyes of their father, even though her sister Ariel never actually does any work and dumps it all on Paige. Although with clients and other people Paige is forthright and firm, with her father and sister she is just a doormat and she never gets the courage to call them on th ...more

Leave it to his parents to think all he needed to get started on this new life was a new suitcase.

Ariel didn’t smile. She rarely did. She thought it caused wrinkles.

She wasn’t even his usual type, but it turned out his usual type wasn’t particularly good for him.

A man knew when to pay attention, and Dylan learned early on that food was to Paige what flowers were to some women.

I’m a sucker for books about rock stars, bands, musicians and I know it is because music has always been important in my life, so I easily fell in love with Samantha Chase’s Shaughnessy: Band on the Run series. This book deals with a band member who made some big time mistakes which landed him in rehab and he is now trying to keep on track, get his life in order, and be a better person. I liked the realism of it, the fact that he makes mistakes, he owns them, he learns to apologiz

A year ago I was reviewing my very first Samantha Chase book and it book 1 in this series, One More Kiss. I fell in love with her writing then and continue to love her words today!

Okay, so Dylan has quite the sensational past. Every cliché of a rocker gone bad, Dylan resembles. But that was then and this is now. He knows who he was and accepts it but he also wants to do better. He wants to be better. Cue the literacy program run by Paige.

Paige and Dylan don’t get off to a smooth start. She makes

Quite liked this one - especially the hero and heroine. Interesting story. Paige and Dylan are fantastic! I enjoy this group of people and seeing them as they grow! Looking forward to the 3rd in the series!

Paige Walters loves PR, marketing and promoting. She works in her father’s PR firm along with her sister. She allows her dad and sister to walk all over her. Needless to say, she has self-esteem issues. She is frustrated and beginning to hate what she loves. She has put her heart and soul into her job at the cost of a personal life.

This book was a good read. I remember the saying, "Never judge a book by its cover."

Too many times people are judged by what they read and what they think they know about the person, when in all actuality you don't know the person at all.

This was the story of bad boy Dylan Anders. His reputation preceded him, and people believed the stories that they read, or what they knew about his past. Dylan has turned a page in his life. Although he has changed, he knows that no matter what some people wil

I have read a couple of books by Samantha Chase, and I was drawn to the idea of a character who was just starting to put his life back together after some bad decisions. The slightly broken, but on the mend hero, is always appealing as they feel human and it's easier to gain a connection with that hero than some other more "perfect" romantic heroes. In this case, I really connected with Dylan, I felt like I understood him and relat

Samantha Chase is an expert at dreaming up larger than life characters that are hard to resist and even harder to walk away from. Her greatest asset is her ability to humanize those large personalities into people we as readers can relate to. That has never been more evident, than within the pages of One More Promise. Dylan is a man with a ton of baggage and a persona that overshadows his remorseful attitude. Paige is a woman, with a bit of a chip on her shoulder and a lot to prove. One More Pro ...more

Samantha Chase's Holiday Spice was one of my favorite holiday books of 2017! Holiday Spice had heart, swoony romance, and a drool worthy setting, and because of that, I couldn't wait to read more by Samantha. So when the chance came up to read and review One More Promise, Samantha's latest book, I instantly said yes! Romance, rock stars, and a literacy campaign?! I simply couldn't wait!

The result? One More Promise offers up yet another swoony pairing as well as a heartwarming look at second cha

"Oh. My. Dirty talk was also something she didn't know she loved until Dylan."

Those that follow my reviews know that I'm addicted to rockstars, I've read over 300 rocker romances. So seeing 'band' in the series title caught my attention and I decided to read my first Samantha Chase novel. Though it's the 2nd book in the series, I read it as a standalone. I must also give my followers a heads-up that the 'dirty talk' mentioned above is of the PG variety rather than what I usually read

I enjoyed the book, but not as much as I wanted. I was a bloodthirsty creature wanting to see Ariel getting what she deserved. Well, she did, but I wanted something a little more cruel to happen. And we never found out if she was indeed pregnant. I also hated Paige's father. He was a bad person and I hated how he treated her. I am happy to see him almost destroyed. I was almost satisfied with the way Dylan and Paige confronted them.

Speaking of Paige, I have to say that I liked her. She was a goo

I was completely thrilled to receive the exciting second book from the, Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run. Dylan Anders creeps around the house so uncomfortably like he was just on the complete edge for his entire stay.He had finished touring with Shaughnessy’s group and now was taking his time off to give him more time to spend with other bands. Yet it seemed strange to himself.

Nothing seemed right anymore. He’d being doing this for ten years. But n

Bit of an issue with this one. The couple seems to fight and make up, fight and make up. Not big fights, but little misunderstandings. Its becoming a little tedious.

Dylan teaches us that we should never judge a book by its cover. He went through so much and goes on a wonderful journey in this book.
Samantha chase continues the Band on the Run series with Dylan’s story. Dylan is the bad boy rock star only to me it isn’t who he truly is. I think he does what he does because he is crying out for attention. He wanted to also numb his pain. He was successful and amazing but didn’t see himself as someone who anyone would care for. Samantha Chase has created the perfect friends- to -lovers romance for fallen rock star Dylan Anders and super-efficient public relations executive, Paige Walters. At first glance—Dylan and Paige seem like an unlikely couple. He’s a jeans and t-shirt guy and Paige is a sweater, scarf and skirt person. Maybe they have more in common than they think?

Living life in the shadows is not easy for most people. For Paige – working at her family’s PR firm is a constant reminder of just how much she resides in the shadow of her sibling. In spite of being the one that carries all of the weight at work, somehow Paige is constantly overlooked and pushed aside for her sister. A serious slap in the face when Paige is not recognized for the contributions that she has made for the business.

One of my favorite things is watching an author push themselves. I know a lot of readers are used to the family aspect with Samantha Chase books. I love how she was able to incorporate the rockstar aspect, while still keeping a lot of the trademark family wholesomeness that her readers are used to.

I loved Dylan's character from the very first page. My favorite aspect to him is that while he is a reformed bad boy, he was already in the process of making changes in his life. It's not like he met a

New York Times and USA Today bestselling romance author Samantha Chase delivers a sweet Rockstar romance. Yes, I know that totally sounds like an oxymoron, but she totally managed to make it happen in One More Promise.

Paige is in charge of the literacy campaign held by her family’s business, and she couldn’t be happier. Used to doing all the work and getting none of the credit Paige is determined that this time will be different. She has it al

Another one to mark on your TBR ladies! Samantha has done it again and OH MY, was this a fun ride.

This novel follows Paige and Dylan. Paige works in PR and Dylan, a recovering alcoholic rockstar, is part of her newest project.

And let the fun begin.

This was a story about growth and just falling in love. There wasn't a whole lot of chaos or giant surprises, but it was such a great read to send an afternoon falling in love with. The chemistry and the true connection of these characters is e

One More Promise is a book that I could not put down. I was excited to keep reading about Paige and Dylan. The story had spunk, love, strong characters, a fun setting, and a great storyline. I loved that the characters were relatable, even the famous band members. There were unlikable characters that were necessary for the story to flow and be true to life but most were likable.

My feelings while reading were up and down. I laughed, I sighed in contentment, I smiled, and I had tears all while re

I truly love Paige and Dylan. They both have a lot in common. A must read.

What a very sweet and charming story!! It is very enjoyable!

I fully enjoyed Dylan! Dylan gets into some trouble. His community service is helping Paige at PRW with Literacy Now campaign. Paige is a very hard worker but there were several times I shook my head. She made quite frustrated. Paige gets pushed over by her Dad, her boss, and her sister who also works at PRW.

Better than I thought

Dylan was a hard rocker who crashed and burned. He had to go to rehab and after had to do community service. This is where he met Paige. I loved Paige. She had it rough because her sister Ariel was a bitch her father was a complete failure as a father and a boss. Jared them both. Dylan took time for me to like him but by the end I was cheering them on. Oh my was it a satisfying conclusion!!!!
I love Daisy so I am hoping she gets her own book.
