I'm glad I didn't read this book first or I would never have started reading the Morland series. ..I see it was written in 1976 but I really don't think people acted like that then either. .it's a wonder the characters even kissed , they were so stilted.
It was like reading a romantic Enid Blyton book crossed with an older Mills and Boon. ..
