Jika The Illustrated History of The Vietnam War: Armor adalah mengenai operasi peperangan armor di Vietnam, buku ini pula yang bertajuk The Illustrated History of The Vietnam War: Artillery menyentuh mengenai operasi artileri, terutamanya oleh pihak tentera Amerika Syarikat (AS) ketika Perang Vietnam pada tahun 1965 sehingga 1975.

This is an excellent source for fully explaining exactly what artillery was in Vietnam, the role it fulfilled and how it was used. Arnold intersperses excellent photography, maps and diagrams to illustrate his well written words. I have studied the Vietnam war since my days in University and have read many Vietnam war books but I learned things in this book I did not now. In fact this book has inspired me to be begin a search for a comprehensive book on 'Operation Junction City' from 1967. I think the story surrounding this battle is one that either has been told effectively or I just may have to write it. This is a great book and worthy of being on every Vietnam War bookshelf. 4 Stars just because it would be 5 if it was 200 pages or more. A great read.
