A great reference guide.

March 6, 2012 Not to be nit picky, and perhaps a bit arrogant, but something referred to as a definitive encyclopedia offer some sort of insight and information that isnt found elsewhere. Shouldn't it be more than 450 pages of information know by any fan of the genre? Shouldn't it be a book Id be unable to write myself?

Absolutely brilliant history of blues and jazz with excellent photos and history of players in 1920s and later in USA mainly Afro-Americans.
