Three years, we’d been playing our little game. Pretending I was too quick to be caught and he was too slow to catch me. Pretending the tension between us wasn’t there. Pretending I wasn’t interested. He was a stubborn, misogynistic bastard.
And he fit me perfectly.
The only problem was that a man like Wolf wanted everything. Everything I didn’t want to give. We both had our past—pasts we weren’t ready to face, commitments we weren’t ready to make.
But we didn’t get to make that decision, because our pasts were alive, and when they came for us, I found that there was only one thing left for me to do. It was time for me to face the wolf.
WOLF
From the second she strutted into my club, put a knife to my balls, and demanded I make her my lawyer, she got more than just a job. She got my balls handed to her on a silver platter. Because I knew I had to have her.
But shadows hung between us, and whenever I took one step closer, she took one step back. She was my prey, but every time I had her in my claws, she slipped out just in time, and I pretended it wasn’t my mistake.
But I was done letting her escape. My past taught me to protect what’s mine, and when shadows surfaced, threatening to destroy not just my club and principles but everything between us, I knew the game was over. She was mine.
Writing books had been a big part of my life for many years; whether it was writing in secret notebooks during class, writing amateur novels or posting stories online, I surrounded myself with it.
Of course, it has its up and downs, but I've never once thought that writing wasn't for me.
Because of that, I can share the worlds I discover in my head with the outside world, and although that might sound crazy to some, it's fine by me. So long as I can do what I love, I'm happy.
And every person who's happy as a result of my writing is a bonus for which, I'm forever grateful for.
What I loved: - The writing style - The epilogue - Delicious Russian Hero, tall, dark and tattooed - Kickass and feisty Heroine - Intriguing storyline - Unexpected twists - Hero is totally in love with Heroine - Heroine standing her ground with Hero - MC as close knitted family, who loved and protected each other, always
What I didn't love: - Hero was a manwhore - To read about Hero with OW the morning after - The scene where Hero was receiving a BJ while Heroine was in the same room - 3 years of back and forth between Hero and Heroine, bickering and pocking each other. I just wish they wouldn't have waited that long. Or that Hero would have been celibate for this time. I know it's a long time and totally not "real life", but it would be so awesome and I would melt for Hero immediately. - Heroine's best friend. Really crazy and badass. Somehow not believable. - The situation with the new powerful enemy was just too far fetched for me. It felt exaggerated and over the top. - All male characters were extremely good looking and had no problem picking up many women all the damn time
All in all I'm glad I read this book. Definitely looking forward to the next book. Hoping for non-manwhore Hero. Pretty please.
I loved the first book. I loved this book. I loved Wolf. I liked the background stories, I liked the whole plot of the book. So what's the problem right? Why only 3 stars?
The answer: Anna and Ash
I just genuinely didn't like them. I couldn't stand them. I wanted to slap them. And at times I straight up hated them. All the drama, the aggressiveness, the childish shit, the hot & the cold, the loudness (you know those people who are loud for no fucking reason, who just think they are the shit, just because they can, who voice their opinion when no one even asked them to), sticking her (Anna) nose in everybody's business... I can honestly say that I'm amazed that characters in the book tolerate her shit and scenes. I. JUST. COULDN'T. And in real life, we would not be in the same room at the same time. Just. Fuck. No. I'm sorry, I know I'm in minority here, but that's the reason why I almost didn't finish the book, why it took me so long to read it and why I gave it 3 stars. I'm not saying that the book is bad, not at all. For people who can stand those two it will be great. It's a good read. It's just my personal opinion and preference.
I got bored. Pretty sure it was a me not you thing. Although safety gang may need to avoid. Morning after with OW and a BJ from a clubwhore IN FRONT of h but it was a weird scene that may be turned then both on. But we never here her opinion of it during her inner monologue and scene is in H POV.
Woah! This book had me hooked from the very beginning itself!Though its the second book in the Black Angels series it can be read as a standalone!I haven't read the first book in the series, and I was perfectly fine reading this one, but damn did I feel the need to grab Hunter too when I was done with this!
Wolf and Anna were just explosive together!I loved the fiery chemistry between them! They've been playing a game for a long while..But all games end at one point.I really loved the fact that unlike most other MC books, the heroine wasn't just tough for show. She was fiesty and independent through and through. She was also loyal to a fault and protective as hell!I loved her so much!
Wolf was equally great with his demanding alpha male tendencies. But he knew just the right way to get through to Anna.He has a lot on his plate to deal with. And it also takes a lot of time to earn her trust, her heart and her secrets. She's had a difficult time and wants to avoid hurting those close to her again. But this time she might not have a choice.
The combination of action, suspense and steamy romance was awesome! The supporting characters along with the amazing members of the Black Angels family added so much to the story! I'll definitely be reading Hunter soon since I cant get enough of A.E.Fisher's writing!
I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Wolfe is the second book in A.E. Fisher's Black Angel MC Series. It can be read as a standalone.
For three years Anna and Wolfe have been dancing around their attraction for each other. Anna is the Black Angel's lawyer and Wolfe is the club president. One is always taking one step forward and the other one step back. It is quite the dance. When things start to get dangerous and there is a threat to the club a rival club comes in to offer a deal and a group of Russians called the Black Jacks are one the attack looking form something one of the Black Angel members has. No one is sure who it is or what they have and danger is lurking in every corner.
I really loved Wolfe. I loved his loyalty and protectiveness of his club and the members. It is club before everything and he really is protective of that. Anna is one tough cookie. I would really hate to be the one messing with her. She sure can hold her own in a world filled with big dangerous men and bring them to their knees. But she has secrets just like Wolfe only Wolfe is willing to share and Anna isn't. This book is filled with a huge back and forth between Wolfe and Anna that got a little frustrating for me. It was just a little to much to me. They both wanted each other and it was a little hard at some points to understand exactly why Anna kept fighting it so freaking hard. Then there is the whole what and who do these bad guys want and it was a little confusing to me but when it all finally came together I understood. I do not think there is anyone who can figure this book out until you get to where it all comes together.
Overall I enjoyed it at times and at times I fought to get through it for some reason I can't quiet put my finger one. I will however read another A.E. Fisher book.
I was not sure about this one at the start but quickly wanted to keep going to figure out what was going to happen between Anna and Wolf. They both had so many secrets and were cautious about sharing too much with each other. I knew when they finally got together it would be explosive but did not realize that the fireworks would just keep coming. After reading this one I will have to see if there are more in the series. I am curious about who else has a story to share. I enjoyed seeing the two of them come together and work on a future. I am sure they will keep each other and the club on their toes. There was so much action that I was kept with my fingers crossed that they would make it through to the end but I was very happy to follow them on the journey. I would give this one five stars!
Wolf & Anna's story. Holy shit does this book thro you some serious curve-balls!!! I absolutely loved Hunter & Mallory's story, but I have to say that I loved Wolf and Anna even more!!! This was a definite down and dirty MC book for me. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the MC genre, it is a total must read. I am also hopping that there will be a next book and that it just might be Lamb and Ash's story next, hint hint to the wonderful author A.E. Fisher!!!! LOL!! ;-)
Between Hunter and Wolf I can decide which one was better. This series is probably the best I've read in a long time. Loved them both and can't wait to read more from this author.
I was excited to read Wolf's story after I finished reading about Hunter, but I was disappointed. I don't know the reason, I just couldn't like the protagonists, the story-line wasn't intriguing, I'm not sure, something was off for me and I ended up skipping lines or reading the same line again and again. I had serious trouble finishing this book.
P.S. l loved the cover, so an extra ⭐ just for that.
An absolutely mind-blowing mental and emotional roller-coaster filled with twists, turns, and oh-so-sexy bikers…
Wolf is the second installment of the Black Angels MC, a debut series for A.E. Fisher…and a sparkling one at that! This book was absolutely breathtaking. From it’s raw emotion, to its gritty underbelly and adrenaline fueled action, Wolf is a heart-stopping adventure where all you can do is hang on for the ride!
If we start at the beginning, the cover of this book is gorgeous…raw and gritty just like the story itself, with a cover model that fits the hero to a T. On the back cover, the blurb is captivating. It grabs ahold of you with its ambiguity, its sexy undertones, and its raw realism. The character development is incredible, each one more detailed and thorough than many authors put into their characters. Wolf is a mammoth of a man, with a broken past, but a huge and giving heart. His loyalty and love for his club, and the members in it, are unparalleled and obvious. The family he never had, they are everything to him, and that includes the spicy, sexy, and mouthy club lawyer. Anna is a dichotomy in and of herself. A beautiful woman, with a sketchy and turbulent past, used to keeping her distance from people and avoiding connections. She is incredibly intelligent, cunning, and sassy, with a sharp wit and an even sharper tongue. Despite her past, Anna has a fierce sense of loyalty and loves harder than she fights…which is saying something. Though she doesn’t love easily, once you have a piece of her heart, you are one of the luckiest people in the world. When her feelings grow for a certain MC President, Anna is terrified, defensive, and unnerved. The chemistry between these characters is absolutely explosive, and their banter is perfect for them. Even the supporting characters are detailed, expressive, and incredibly easy to love. I adored each and every one of them. The plot and storyline were unique, detailed, and absolutely incredible. Though some readers may think the book is a little long, I appreciated every ounce of extra detail and additional plot lines. There was so much action, emotion, drama, heart, and thought within these pages. In my humble opinion, this book is brilliant, and Ms. Fisher is a phenomenal storyteller. I can’t wait to see what comes out next.
So I was casually browsing though the stories on the Moments app, yeah you know the one… only to find several book by our beloved authors!! So after checking out a couple, I found 𝑾𝒐𝒍𝒇, book 2 in the 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝑴𝑪. A couple of chapters in, I was a goner but I figured that I’ve never really read the book so you can guess how I spent the rest of my night!
Wolf and Anna’s dynamics got me hooked since we first met them in Hunter’s book. The back and forth between them was freaking hilarious and honestly the highlight of my day. It can go two ways with them, Anna getting her way and Wolf paying for it somehow or Anna getting her way period!
She is a strong, independent, smart as F woman. Loyal to a T, and with each chapter, l saw how deep that went. If I ever need someone in my corner, it would be her! Hell, I don’t have to need her, I want her in my corner!
To the age gap trope lovers, Wolf is THE man… well the president, but that just makes him even more scrumptious! Again, loyalty and responsibility were the root of his personality! He is/feels responsible for everyone in the club, and because of that he had to make some pretty tough decisions. I didn’t envy him but ultimately he pulled through! Also, learning about his past and what he had to go through made my heart ache. I’m so happy he found what he did with Anna, even if it took so long… he deserves someone like her!
God, the way I was rooting for them since the start got me so pumped to read how their relationship unfolded! Anna made him softer while he was still the growly, badass, respected club president! Although, I think the brothers secretly feared or maybe revered Anna more… 😏
I absolutely loved the plot! It held more mystery than the first book! Anna’s past, the connection between the club’s rivals and mob, the mysterious new but not so new character (whose story I’m DYING to read! can a girl get a release date over here please 🥺) just the way everything unfolded, on top of the high level angst, had me on the edge of my seat (bed, but still counts.)
I had never heard of this author until I lost my heart to the cover. It stopped me in my tracks, and I freely admit I was already in love with Wolf before I’d even read one word, lol.
This book is like an effed-up episode of Sons of Anarchy on steroids. It’s fudging amazing. Strap yourself in for one high octane ride filled with thrills and spills galore.
Wolf and Anna have played a game for three years trying to deny their mutual attraction, but the time for games is up:
“You’ve got your past; I’ve got mine. Your past taught you not to get close. Mine taught me that you have to hold on to what you got while you got it.”
Theirs is no hearts and flowers romance, it’s fiery and raw. Wolf is a tortured man, but as President of his MC, it’s club before all, or is it? Anna soothes something in his soul and provides him with the peace he seeks.
Both Wolf and Anna have ghosts lurking in their pasts with secrets yet to be told. Only some ghosts are determined to be very much in the present.
“Every fight can be won. And you will one day.”
With danger lurking around every corner, I didn’t know what I was going to be hit with next. I didn’t think my heart could take it. Seriously! It’s chock full of action and suspense. Along with all the club and family dynamics you’d expect from an MC story.
As a newbie to the series, where each book can be read as a standalone, I can’t wait to go back and read Hunter’s story. I’m keeping everything crossed it’s either Lamb or Jax’s story next. These two have me so intrigued. Lamb with all his control and Jax with his *coughs* predilections *smirks*
One has a feeling that they’re all going to be my favourites *snorts*

This story grips you from the Prologue and starts you on the crazy intense emotional filled ride of the Black Angels MC president and their spunky lawyer. This story is filled with tons of angst and full of passion between Wolf and Ana.
Ana is fierce, protective, and loyal. She doesn't trust easily and once she open up to you she loves with everything she has. Wolf is domineering, possessive, and a complete neanderthal. After 3 years, he is finally taking what he wants. Just when you think they will get their HEA another twist in thrown into their crazy story. No matter what you can count that what Wolf dishes out Ana won't back down and give back to him 110%. Their chemistry jumps off the pages. Buckle up for their ride because this is an intense story that doesn't disappoint.
The Black Angels family is amazing and you fall in love with all of the character and try to figure out who will be in the next story. They are all have each other back and that what makes them family.

**Carla's Five Star Review
This is the second book in the Black Angels MC series, and it is Wolf and Anna's story. While it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone.
What do you get when you bring a hot headed alpha male and a fierce and sassy ball buster together? Fire. You get fire. It has been three years since Wolf and Anna started their game of cat and mouse, and Wolf has finally had enough. He claims Anna and professes his undying love for her, and, for once, she is speechless. She cares for him just as much as he cares for her, but her past has left her jaded. It is possible for Anna to leave the past behind her for good and find the happiness she has always longed for?
Gah, I loved this book! It is chock full of surprises. I swear, just when you think you have figured everything out, you are hit with yet another shocker. If you are looking for a book that is sure to bring out all "the feels", look no further!
As I stated earlier in this review, this book can be read as a stand alone, but I can promise you that once you read this second installment, you will want to read the first book asap!
I accepted an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first AE Fisher book and I really enjoyed it. I particularly liked the back and forth between Anna and Wolf and their fiery relationship both in and out of the bedroom, especially the bedroom scenes which were smoking hot. Quite an active story with some slower moments. Lots of great character interaction and these helped drive the story forward as well. The dual POV was well-written and I liked getting to know Anna and Wolf individually as well.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt it dragged a little at points where it was quite a long story. It didnt take away too much enjoyment of the book but it did niggle at me a little bit.
Overall a great story with lots interesting characters, and a great "family" dyanmic I am intrigued to see who the next one features, Im hoping either Jax or Lamb as they teally piqued my interest. I will be picking up book 1 but althought there were references to the main character of book 1 I found I could quite happily read this as a standalone as well as part of a series.
OMG, I believed that Hunter was brilliant, but the author raised the bar higher with Wolf! Anna was the BEST, as she kept me laughing throughout the whole story with her bad a** self, and I couldn't get enough of her! Every time she had interaction with Wolf, well, her feisty self was EPIC! And poor Wolf, the smoke coming out of his ears seeped out of my kindle. When they finally acted on the insane attraction, the explosion sent serious FIERY FLAMES that will take out all panties nearby with their heat! The very colorful and highly entertaining cast of secondaries were AWESOME, and I can only hope that they get their own stories. A.E. Fisher's writing style is simply put, BRILLIANT, as I will never get enough of it. She instantly transported me into the Black Angels MC world, and I didn't want to leave! Crazy twists were around every corner, to where I couldn't guess right to save my life, not to mention all the loud f-bombs dropping throughout my house. Her next book cannot come quickly enough for my addiction, so all that's left to say is that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL AND SUNDRY!
*****5 Wild Stars**** This was my first time reading A.E. Fisher and she had me so caught up in this book I didn’t even realize how fast I went through it. Wolf and Anna story had a bit of everything secrets from the past, humor, love, pain; the back and forth between them sometimes was the best part. Anna has been in Wolf’s life for the last 3 years as the club’s lawyer but she and Wolf play this game when he gets too close to Anna she does something to get out of Wolf’s hold (what she does is funny). When the club has danger knocking on their door Wolf finally stops Anna game and makes her his but like always Anna trying to find a way out she doesn’t want her past interfere with Wolf and doesn’t want to get her heart hurt. Wolf’s past is not that great either. They are 2 broken people that become one, this story was good! Whose past is making all the trouble for the club? Will Anna finally let Wolf in? Can Wolf keep Anna? These are all things you need to read about tin this book. I can’t wait to read more. *****ARC from Indie Sage PR for review*****
Wolf is the second story in A. E.Fisher's Black Angels series and its oh so good. Book two brings us the relationship of the President Wolf and club lawyer Anna. If you read Hunter than you know Wolf and Anna have been circling eachother for three years. Well Wolf has had enough and will make Anna his old lady. Anna is the club lawyer but she is so much more....she is fiesty, sexy , strong character and I absolutely loved her. Fisher tells a story in a way that pulls you in and makes you feel your sitting next to her characters while they tell their side of the story. Wolf has humor, suspense, angst, strong female characters that voice they opinions and take charge. Absolutely loving Black Angels. I hope she will write other stories in this series, I would love to see Lamb end up with Ash, Mint with Bell, Ripper find someone and Pretty find his one. Jax is the third book in the story and I cant wait to read his story...Happy Reading!!!
I can’t even put into words how much I loved Anna and Wolf’s story. After 3 years of playing Anna’s game, Wolf has finally had enough so he claims her every way he can. Once he proclaims his love it leaves her speechless. Her past makes it hard for her to love anyone. Is she able to let the pass go, and finally feel her true feelings for Wolf? I can’t even put into words how much I love this book. Once I started this book I wasn’t able to put it down until I knew what happened. Once I thought I knew what was going to happen another hurdle would have to be tackled. You’ll feel the hurt, the love, the sadness, and the turmoil they feel for each decision they must make. But wow seeing how things go makes every feeling worth it. If you are looking for a book with lots of feelings then this is the book for you. One click this book NOW!
This may be the second Novel of A. E.Fisher's Black Angels series But this is the first book I have read of hers!
If you want a book that will keep you on your toes then you have got to read “Wolf” This book pulls you in with plenty of action, drama, passion and suspense.
Anna- A strong, feisty, Lawyer for the MC Black Angels. She takes no shit from anyone and gives as good as she gets.
Wolf - The President of the club. A Russian Beast of an Alpha male! Looks after his own and will not be taken down without a fight!
3 years of the pair of them playing their little games with each other. The two of them physically at each other's throats! Confusion and Intensity that is between them with a mix of Mischievous behaviour at its best! Feel their pain and their fears from both their pasts both still catching up with them, putting Anne, Wolf and those around them in possible danger.
Wolf is apart of a series but can be read as a standalone. I have not read the first book in the series. While reading Anna and Wolf's story I didn't feel lost at all. I really enjoyed their story. I loved the back and forth banter between the two. The bedroom scenes were extremely hot. Like fan yourself hot.
Anna is the fierce lawyer of the MC. She has a thing for Wolfe but to strong headed to admit. Yet! I loved her as the female character. She was written perfectly.
Wolf was the president of the MC. Very strong willed alpha. He had to be. But he had a soft spot for Anna.
There were some dead spots in the book that made it drag a bit. But the rest of the storyline sure made up for it.
I was kind of over the whole MC romance genre before I read Wolf. I hadn't picked one out of that genre for nearly a year. Then, a last minute need for a review and I am hooked! I must go back and read the first book and I am looking forward to more in this series.
Wolf and Anna have been dancing around each other for three years. He chases. She runs away. Theirs is a bit of a love/hate relationship but man the sexual tension is THICK! These two share a complicated and dangerous past. When that dangerous past resurfaces, Wolf and Anna must rely on each other.
You won't be able to help rooting for Wolf and Anna. Their chemistry is scorching hot and when Wolf pursues Anna, things crank up even more in intensity. The Black Angels MC is quite endearing making this story even better.
Loved it! Anna is a great female character. She's no weak doormat of a h that's fore sure. Love it when authors write strong female characters. So tired of weak or virgin at 40 heroines that I'm sorry and sex fixes everything. So if you like your women characters strong and BA then this a book for you. Wolfe has his hands full with Anna but he's up for the challenge. The story line is interesting and will keep you reading. This is turning out to be a great MC series to follow. It has lots of action, drama, surprises and of course love. Rated very good
This book at times was hilarious with Anna poking the best aka Wolf. Between the obvious sexual chemistry between these two and Wolf's brothers making bets on them it just makes the story better and better.
Like the first book in this series, I've enjoyed both. It has a little bit of everything (funny, violence, mystery, and my favorite a love story). Congratulations to the author for another great story.
Loved the story it was good from start to finish looking forward to more books
Loved the story it was good from start to finish looking forward to more books from this author . Please write more from some of the other people in this book
Sassy, spunky lawyer meets bad-a** MC President is the way to start off a book in my opinion. The chemistry between Wolf and Anna is sizzling from day one. Anna is fiercely loyal to all things club, but she doesn't trust easily so she will not let people get too close. And Wolf is a possessive bast**d with fiercely loyal tendencies to his club. His motto is Club before all. She and Wolf have this cat and mouse game going on, but when Wolf finally catches her he's not letting go. When their pasts finally catch up to them can't they right the wrongs from their past mistakes or will it destroy their budding relationship and possibly the club?
This is the first time I have read Ms. Fisher and it will not be the last. I really connected with Anna and all of her struggles with the past. She was a well developed character and showed growth throughout the book. I highly recommend this book.
** I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review **
Loved it!! Wolf showed so many sides to him. The decision he had to make it would of killed anyone. But they all got their happiness at the end. Let's see if her friend shows up again.
