A little bit less experimental than the usual Pinkwater fare. The restaurant is haunted... or is it? The illustrations are by Daniel Pinkwater himself, which is always a treat.

I have a question: If the restaurant is built in an old trolley car, then how does it have a basement?

Was that cat always in the basement? Is that a fore shadow on the front cover. A great story with just the right touch of spookiness. I loved Mr. Wiggers.
