Andrew and Sonnet hated each other in high school. Always rivals for the best grades and top academic honors, there was no love lost between these two nerds after graduation.

Ten years later, they're both named heirs to property in coastal Delaware after the passing of its owner,

Shelves: 4-star-reads, arcs
I voluntarily received an arc of this book in return for nothing but an honest review.

This book was an extremely light, enjoyable and refreshing read. Andrew and Sonnet are typical nerds, and arch rivals for most of their youth. Now adults, Sonnet being the over achiever and Andrew being somewhat his loveable self are thrown together when they jointly inherit a beach house. They have to work together to renovate and sell it, so they can get on with their own lives.

The Flip is a sweet 'fade-to-black' romance with some really fun characters that I want to read more about! And There was a ton of great banter. It was my first book by K.L. Montgomery, but won't be my last.

Sonnet and Andrew have been rivals since grade school, both at the top of their classes.

Perfect Summer Read!!!

The Flip is a sweet summer romance that'll make you LOL and even shed a tear. Drew and Serenity were my favorite characters and it's a very well-written book. Buy it!!

This is the PERFECT beach and summer read!!! I really, really enjoyed this book and it is more like a 4.5 stars not 4 stars! Our main female character Sonnet is independent, smart, super sassy, funny, and so very loveable even if she seems like an ice queen in the beginning of the book. Andrew starts off as this flighty man boy but his journey as an individual is just as inspiring as Sonnet's is. Both, Sonnet and Andrew have a beautiful, fun, and funny journey on a path of discovery of self. I ...more

The Flip is the second book in the ‘Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L Montgomery. It was such a fun read, one of my favourites that Ms. Montgomery has written. It is a light-hearted read, but with just the right amount of drama and tension to really keep things interesting. This is a superb contemporary romance, with a enemies to lover aspect to the storyline. This book can be read as a standalone, even though it is the second book in the series, as the series is made up of standalone

Sonnet and Drew have always been competitive, even back when they competed for Valedictorian in high school. They never were the best of friends. So imagine their surprise when Drew's great aunt Penny leaves her beach house to both of them!

They decide to flip the house, and I'm not sure which I liked more: the chemistry between the two or the hilarious mishaps they encounter. A summer fling never hurt anyone, right? Sonnet and Drew decide to give it a run. Can they figure out what dreams they

This book had me giggling from the beginning. I felt a bit of a connection to both Sonnet and Andrew because I knew all of the towns/local that Ms. Montgomery wrote about.

I liked the dynamic of the relationship between Andrew and Sonnet. High school enemies who reconnect under horrible circumstances.

I'm looking forward to reading more from the author.

This is an enjoyable, fast-paced book. The story is entertains, and humorous told in alternating points of view. This would be a perfect book to read at the beach. This is the first book by this author I have read and it won’t be my last.

I received a copy of this book from the author, my review has been voluntarily submitted.

I absolutely loved this enemy to lovers book!! Andrew and Sonnet (what a name) hated each other back in the day but once they are named heirs to a property all bets are off. This was my first K.L. Montgomery book but it won't be my last!

The Flip by K.L. Montgomery a four-star read that you will flip over. This is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth series and they are all stand-alone but do feature characters from the series, I have read it as part of the series and enjoyed it as such. I would have loved to have given this five-stars as it’s a really great story, but something stopped me, and I can’t put my finger on it. Overall it was great, but there are just a couple of moments that let it down for me. But that being ...more

The Flip (Romance in Rohoboth Book 2) by K.L. Montgomery is the second book in her Rohoboth series. This is a standalone book as it is not necessary to read the first book for this story to flow. I would highly recommend reading the first book, I know you will enjoy it! One of my favorite things about this author is her creativity with her characters. They are funny, loving, sweet and strong all at the same time. They have the ability to pull you into the story and make you feel like you are ...more

I give The Flip (book 2 in the Romance in Rehoboth series) by K.L. Montgomery 4 stars.

Andrew’s great aunt Penny owned a house in Bethany Beach, Delaware, and he spent a lot of time over there when he was growing up. A few doors down was a girl his age named Sonnet. A lonely girl, she also spent a lot of time at Penny's house. They tolerated each other until high school, where they became intellectual rivals. Andrew was always picking on Sonnet, and she couldn’t stand how he thought he was

KL Montgomery is an automatic one-click author for me. I am always finding things I can relate to in her characters. This book was not anything different and I loved every second of my time spent at the beach with Andrew and Sonnet. This is the perfect poolside read, if you are like me and don’t have access to a beach, otherwise, go read this at the beach!

The Flip is the second book in the Romance in Rehobeth series by K.L. Montgomery, and it s a contemporary romance novel. The story is about a young man named Andrew or “Drew”, and a woman named Sonnet, who are both 29 years old, have known each other since they were young children, and used to hang out at Andrew's Great Aunt Penny's house after school and all day during the summer. Sonnet and her parents used to live next door to Penny until her parents sold the house and moved to Florida while ...more

5 out of 5 stars

The story The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth Book 2) by K.L. Montgomery is a contemporary romantic comedy book. This is the story of Andrew and Sonnet. These two have always been rivals. Their dislike for each other runs deep so it is quite a shock when they both are named co-heirs to property from a woman they both remember with great fondness. While they agree to be civil to each other while they are flipping the property, they

The flip by K.L. Montgomery is a fun lighthearted read that will both amuse and entice you. Witty and full of banter it flows well throughout the whole story.

Sonnet Jayne has always had to prove herself. In school she had to prove that she was the best academically. That it didn't matter if she wasn't cool or even well liked. In college she had to prove that she was in the right place, on a course made up of 95% guys. And in her life in general she had to prove that she had what it takes to work

By the end of the story, I can say I liked this book. Rating would really be about 3.5-3.75.

The start was really rough for me. I didn't much like the heroine--thought she was a bit of a spaz. The hero seemed like a totally immature jerk with very few redeeming qualities. But I'm glad I stuck with it. The characters had believable growth arcs from annoying twits into relatable human beings.

I did like that the heroine was a successful scientist and a vocal advocate for women in "unconventional"

Book Review: The Flip
Author: K.L. Montgomery
K.L. Montgomery is an author that I started reading over this last year and let me just say I am IN LOVE with her books. Her body positive points of view and her real as life characters. There are no perfect faces, bodies, careers, lives. This is all plain and simple REAL life. I feel like I could be next door neighbors to the characters in the K.L. Montgomery books. These books are appropriate for anyone to read as there are no sexual

Definitely a five-star read.
When Andrew’s Aunt Penny passed away she left her house to her beloved nephew and the girl who used to live next door to her Sonnet. Now Aunt Penny in her death must have been up to something as she knew that as children Andrew and Sonnet were not what you would call friends, in fact they didn’t like each other. The Flip is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth series, but is a standalone, as it follows entirely different people. Told in dual POV of Andrew, Drew, and Sonnet. This was a fun, light read that had me laughing and rooting for what was developing between these childhood enemies.

The Flip by K.L Montgomery is the second book in the Romance In Rehoboth Series, and it's SO good! You can definitely read this as a standalone, but I would recommend reading the first book in the series, just to have some background information and it's really good! One thing K.L Montgomery's books always include, are strong characters. I absolutely love how she makes each character different and makes them relatable to the readers. This book was a great read and I completely got lost in Sonnet and Andrews story.
I loved the characters. Both strong independent people thriving to be the best.

Andrew and Sonnet met when they were just kids, going to the same school and both spending time with Andrew's Aunt Penny at her colorful home. They never really had a friendship though, both in competition to e the best.

But when he discovers she also left the property to his high school enemy Sonnet Jayne, he is reluctant. With an old house with several problems that need resolving to sell it, can they put the past behind them and work together?

This was a nice romantic comedy. It made me laugh and cry a bit. I was always looking forward to what disaster would happen next. Penelope Vaughn passes away and leaves her beach house to Andrew and Sonnet. Andrew is her great nephew and Sonnet is her neighbour’s daughter. Fun, sweet and saucy all thrown in together

This is one hilarious story about two childhood frenemies who, in adulthood, are thrown together when they jointly inherit a house and decide to "flip it". From the premise of this, it can be easily be seen what is going to befall these two characters. Ok, you may say, "this is so predictable", yes it probably is, but it is the storyline, the characters and the author's writing style that make THE FLIP a book not to be missed.
