Drako and Ilse

The events take place just before Krinars appear on Earth.
Drako is a pilot who is sent on a reconnaissance mission to Earth in order to advice the elders whether the Krinars and the humans can coexist. Unfortunately, his capsule crashes on Earth and more particularly in the Ellis Park Stadium at Johannesburg, South Africa. Drako will be a prisoner of a number of corrupted South Africa secret service officers. These ruthless people will try to extract his sperm to create an army of

Finally! The panty-wetting teasers for these new Krinar stories have been driving me crazy! Thank goodness this was well worth the wait!

Krinar Experiment is the first of the Krinar Kindle World's fabulous fan fiction to make it's ARC debut. Based on the Krinar Chronicles, by the incomparable Anna Zaires, these books each feature sexy aliens with advanced technology, evolved sensibilities, out-of-this-world possessiveness and insatiable libidos.

Oh, crute & ZUT, Charmaine! You've done it again!!

You may think I'm biased being that Charmaine Pauls is my fellow Krinar Kindle Worlds launch author (you're free to think whatevs you want), but believe me, my Charmaine fandom extends beyond this book and will continue long after this Krinar launch.

Charmaine is a globetrotter, which means that her books (and her IG account, btw, where daily photos of ancient ruins, castles, exotic animals, and killer abs will make you feel like a real schl

I'm a humongous Krinar fan, so I was jumping up and down when I learned that there was going to be a Kindle World expending that awesome universe. The Krinar Experiment is the first one I read. Charmaine Pauls tortured us with exquisite teasers for a few weeks and finally, finally, I got my paws on an ARC copy.
It really didn't disappoint.
Firstly, major plus: the story is set in South Africa. The Krinar's arrival is a global phenomenon, and I'm really glad that some authors decided to speak abo

Wow! Just wow. What a powerful story. Great plotting and story line. Charmaine Pauls did an awesome job at bringing the story to life; it felt real and believable as I was reading it. Heroine Ilse's dilemma unfolds in exactly the way I could imagine it happening.

The Krinar stories are a spinoff from Krinar Chronicles by Anna Zaires. I enjoyed this story that is part of a larger project by an amazing group of authors. Each book reads as a stand-alone and together makes up a fascinating tale. The stories involved two species, humans from earth and Krinar from the planet Krina. The stories are full of angst, confusion, shock, eventually acceptance, and passion. The stories are sexually explicit of full of intense sex scenes between

I have loved Anna Zaires Krinar world from the very first books with Mia and Korum and so I was super excited to see the Krinar World explode. Furthermore, I was very excited to read Charmaine Paul's The Krinar Experiment as the blurb sounded right down my alley. And boy was I right!! I absolutely FLOVED this book. Drako and Ilse were SO sexy and their story was so original. I was hooked and could not get enough!

Oh my!!! The feels this book left me with. Phenomenal story written by Charmaine Pauls. The characters were amazing, the romance was cute, the drama had me laughing. I don't read many alien stories, so this was definitely one I could see me reading multiple times over.

Drako is on a mission from Krina to see if the Earth is a place his kind could coexist in. Before he could truly have his mission undergo, his pod crashes to Earth and he's taken in my Secret Services and

With as many ups and downs as a rollercoaster, The Krinar Experiment drew me in from the first page and held me enthralled. Ilyse and Drako are enchanting together, the journey of their love both tumultuous, fraught with tension, misunderstandings and yet, what Ilyse and Drako feel for one another hidden beneath the hurts of past actions is breathtaking in its intensity.
The sense of connection between the couple captivated me from the start.

if You've read Anna Zaire's Krinar trilogy then you will love this!!!

I was more than excited to discover a few authors had decided to write more about krinar characters, but I was even more elated that I was chosen as an ARC reader for this new release!

firstly I loved the characters!!! both Drako and ilse are so endearing throughout the novel. I think I found myself falling in love with them before they even fell in love with one another!
this book has everything you expect from a Krinar related

Thank you Publisher & Authors

I Give this Book 3 Stars

I love the Krinar World, Ilse and Drako were a wonderful addition to it. The book was written well, it lagged in a few areas but all in all it was even in action and you got to know both characters from the Dual POV and was able to understand them better. There's quite a few smexy scenes so don't worry about that lol

I look forward to reading more from this author :)

Received an ARC for an honest review.

I am a huge fan of the Krinar Trilogy by Anna Zaire. I was ecstatic when I found out that there were more Krinar stories to come, and Charmaine Pauls didn't disappoint. There was instant sexual chemistry between Ilse and Drako from the get go, and I couldn't put it down . All I have to say is that I wish the book was longer.

It has become more common for authors to invite others to play in their sandbox and create original stories based on their worlds, especially in the romance community. Charmaine Paul's The Krinar Experiment steps into Anna Zaires' sci fi world as a prequel novella to the invasion of Earth that plays a major role in the primary series. It is one of several works that are part of Amazon's Krinar Kindle World and will be available for purchase on September 12, 2017.

The Krinar Experiment is the first book in the Krinar Kindle World that I have tried, simply because I am a big fan of Charmaine Pauls. It is a complete standalone, you do not have to have any prior knowledge of the Krinar before you start reading this book.

Drako is a Krina, entering Earth's atmosphere for the first time, and his pod wasn't up to dealing with earth's atmosphere. He loses his invisibility, and then crash-lands in the middle of a sports stadium in South Africa. He is captured by t

From the beginning, Ilse is shown to be a good woman. She's smart, kind, and a hard worker. She's also someone who has a strong sense of compassion and justice, which is how she ends up in her precarious position in the story. Isle is definitely a likable character and you end up rooting for her throughout the story.

On the other hand, Draco didn't feel any different from the typical alpha male characters. He didn't seem to have any defining char

I haven't read any of Anna Zaires Krinar books and therefore did not know whether I would get in to this book as part of a Krinar Kindle world series.
The description sounded interesting and I had not read anything about an Alien before so thought I would give it a go.
This book is easy to read, easy to follow and the characters hold appeal, something that I find Charmaine Paul does well.
I liked that the author stayed true to her South African roots and incorporated this in to the book.

4,5 Alien stars from me!!!

Another great story from the author and what a surprise... a standalone plot from the Krinar world!! I really enjoyed it, it was fresh, adventurous and captivating combined with very lovable characters.

Draco and Ilse have the perfect chemistry, they won me from the beginning Ilse with her sweet and caring personality and Draco for his possessive/caveman character. Let me tell you that they created some really hot, steamy scenes... that was me reading them...

What a fabulous piece of escapist writing set in the Krinar Kindle world….this book focuses on the events leading up to the Krinar invasion of earth….. Ilse is a smart and compassionate nurse who becomes caught up in the machinations of the evil SASS organisation whilst trying to treat Draco, their beautiful and seductive prisoner…

The narrative to this fast paced, thrilling and steamy story is provided by Ilse and Draco offering a firsthand account of events from their perspectives…

Charmaine Pauls goes science fiction with the Krinar Experiment. When Drako's space pod malfunctions forcing him to expose himself and crash land in Johannesburg, his secret reconnaissance mission goes horribly wrong. Wounded, he is easily captured by the corrupt South African Secret Service. When they bring in a young woman to treat his wounds, her effect on the prisoner gives the SS men what they need to control the alien. Ilse is sweet and caring and the opposite of his captors. I received this ARC for a honest review. I have literally been in the Krinar World this weekend. This is the 3ed book I've read and it is just as good as the others! The dual point of view was done very well. Drako is one of the first Krinar to land on earth to evaluate coexistence with humans and Krinars. The torture aspect of the book was hard to was more insinuated than graphically described but I get a bit queasy with the thought of torture. Ilse is a nurse and as devoted as the ...more

I have to say this first. “I was given a free arc of this book prior to release date in return for an honest review.” I also love Anna Zaires original trilogy with Mia & Korum, it was special and breathtaking.
No spoilers in my review. I enjoyed Charmaine Pauls, The Krinar Experiment, I will be reading it again for sure. Serious tone to this one should be no surprise if you read the blurb, but I still enjoyed it. The writing is polished and professional, which was lovely. But I do take spoile

*It is extremely helpful to read the original series by Anna Zaires before checking out any of the spinoffs because there is a lot of history and explanations left out.*

I wasn't even going to give any of the Krinar World Spinoffs a chance. Since they aren't written by the original Krinar series author, I was basically putting them into a category of fan fiction and wasn't going to give them a chance.

The blurb for this story made me want to give at least one o

What a great addition to the Krinar series of novels. The Krinar Experiment was Charmaine Pauls take on the Krinar world and I have to admit she did it justice. This story though short had a bit of everything. Action, suspense, revenge, torture, romance, and so much more was included to give you a story that will have you hooked until the very end.
The main characters Drako and Ilse were both likable. Ilse was a sweet, kind, hard-working nurse who cared and went out of her way to help other. Dra

Krinar's Experiment is the second book I've read in the past week that is past of the Krinar World Series. Krinar's Experiment is based on Ilse and Drako.

The book starts off with Drako in a pod at Earth, trying to land when the pod has a malfunction and crashes. He is then captured and thus begins the adventure! Ilse is a nurse at a hospital when she is taken to a disclosed secret prison where she is told to look at the injuries of a bad man. However once meeting Drako she sees he is not the ba

This story is a wonderful addition to the Krinar world. There is a maturity in the writing and the characters Drako and Ilse. Drako is a much kinder, softer, less arrogant (Korum) Krinar than we are use to, while Ilse is smart, sensible and caring. Of course the sexy physical component associated with the Krinar/ human, cheren/ charl relationship is very present and steamy (and always appreciated). For me this was better than the originals (sorry) and much to short. The characters are beyond lik ...more

I've been waiting for The Krinar Experiment for a while now and it was more than worth it! Drako is in trouble....a lot of trouble. Crashed on earth,he's captured by the South African secret service.
