QUEEN OF IRON AND BLOOD is another thrilling adventure as war continues between two realms, risking not only humanity on earth but also those who live in the other realm. Non-stop action, endearing and fierce characters, and an uphill battle with everything at risk makes for an engaging story from start to finish. A fantastic sequel that will leave readers hoping for more to come in this magical world!

I reread the first book before diving into this second one as it had been a couple of years. I

In the first Shattered Realms novel Mackenzie and Hunter, two people from different worlds, collide in a magical apocalypse. Now, in Queen of Iron and Blood, Mackenzie is left to watch over the Undying Lands while Hunter returns to Earth. There's still the Iron Bound to deal with, after all, and the former king. Not to mention the human army that very much wants Hunter dead.

"Mackenzie was queen of the Iron Bound. She was tied to this realm, responsible for it the way she’d been responsible for

So this is book 2 in the shattered realms series. It follows Mackenzie and Hunter. They are separated, trapped in different worlds. Hunter is dealing with betrayal and Mackenzie is dealing with changes she never dreamed about. Just when you think that you know what's going to happen, something else happens
This was a very interesting book. I am a big fantasy fan, so I was intrigued by this book. It seems like a military style book, with all the great sci fi ness added in. It took me a little to g

Ohhhhh so good, this storyline

It took a bit to get the hang of this storyline. Once you do, you can't put the book down. Just hoping there was another book available in The Shattered Realms series. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

Finally.....Mackenzie is a Queen. Where is her brother, Riley or her King, Hunter? Will they survive the reaping? All these questions will be answered. My question is....will there be a third book in this series?

Great story. Sometimes hard to follow or figure out. I still loved it and hope the story continues someday. Maybe explain what the ancient dark stuff was or what the lies were exactly. Prequill maybe?

Wonderful story

Excellent story. It was a great read with excellent characters. Beautifully written from different persons who all are connected with saving the world(s). Great fantasy with love, adventures and a happy ending. Overall, a great feel good novel

Great conclusion

I’m impressed by Melissa Wright. The first book compelled me to buy the 2nd. It was not a disappointment. So filled with action on both worlds. Struggles, defeats, wins and accomplishments. So many things for the characters to overcome. Well done.
