You make me feel like every chance is one worth taking. Like you’re leading me out of the darkness that’s ruled my life. When I close my eyes, who I see is you. Show me the way, Rynna. Show me the way out of it. Fuck. Please, show me the way.”

Can someone please tell me why I've gone this long without reading another AL Jackson book? Because I'm seriously disappointed it myself. This book reminded me all the reasons that made me fall in love with this author's words and made me fall in

Rex is mine. No seriously … MINE. Corinne and Rex are perfection together.

^^^ and I have a screenshot where she confirms this.

AL Jackson’s poetic words, complex characters, emotional storyline, and off the charts chemistry made Show Me the Way one of my favorite reads of 2017. This book is absolutely perfect.

"All moments matter. We just rarely know how important they are until the chance to act on them has already passed."

The blurb of this book summarizes this book perfectly, so I am not going further into the plot. Show Me the Way is about two broken characters, Rex and Rynna, who have been burned in the past and have a hard time trusting people, especially Rex does not want to open up and trust new women. Fortunately, Rynna was more open and went ou

I said it a thousand times before, but I feel like I have to say it again... A.L. Jackons is one talented writer! I just love her! She is an amazing storyteller and this was an amazing emotional journey from the beginning to the end. I was hooked from the very beginning. Her writing style is simply put, a poetry. Her words are powerful and they just flow. Pure perfection. Since I am a sucker for second chance love stories, I absolutely loved her characters and the p

I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks having read a book that is beyond touching, beyond sexy and most importantly, beyond beautiful. And once again, I am completely overwhelmed with emotion by the words AL Jackson so meticulously creates. Show Me The Way crafts the exquisite blend of two souls, once thought too broken to mend. Both Rex and Rynna have had their share of heartache, of shame, of betrayal. But somehow, that small flicker of hope that deep within their hearts is despera ...more

The phenomenally talented A.L. Jackson once again delivers an emotionally charged page-turner that completely wrecked me!

Her unique writing style and remarkable ability at story telling is above reproach. A flawless story filled with damaged and imperfect characters, Show Me the Way captivates readers with intensity, longing, anguish, and an unspoken motivation that defies all odds.

I have not been able to think of anything else since I've finished this book. The story is raw. It's unwavering. A

No words can describe the true emotions I feel after reading this book.
I'm left in pure absolute awe.
Rex is starving for the one thing in his life that will pull him above ground. He thinks he has it with his little girl. He does, in the way a father loves his daughter. Unconditionally.
But, he's struggling in other ways.
Ways you will find out when you read this soul gripping. Stomach knotting book.

“In my experience, joy is a choice. Life is rough. Don’t expect it not to be. But if aren’t laughin’, we’re crying. Choose to laugh. Choose what brings you joy. And when you choose you path, it may not always be the easiest one, but it’ll always be the right one.”

Show Me the Way is breathtaking and all consuming. It is the kind of story that you will just want to get lost in; live in. You will want to breathe in all the words, let them be buried deep into your soul until

Lyrical and beautiful, heartbreaking, and so so sexy. This is classic Jackson. One of my favorite books of the year.

Two broken souls slowly find their way to healing in each other. Rex is smoldering and determined not to let Rynne in his heart, but his adorable little girl Frankie Leigh is just as determined to make friends. Rynne is kind but mysterious. I shed a few tears along the way... Throw in some delicious cherry pie, and it's a recipe for a Five Star Read you'll savor.

AL Jackson has once again blown me away with her story telling. I've been along for the ride from the early days of her writing journey and she never ceases to amaze me with how she breathes life into each and every one of her stories.

Show Me the Way is the first book in a brand new series. The first book revolves around Rex and Rynna. Both of them have endured heartache, betrayal and loss in their lives. How they've chosen to deal with it has been laid out masterfully in the pages of this book.

Rex needs to dust off some of his skills because the man is just terrible at lines, "...I know Lillith and Nikki will be there. Thought it’d be cool if you came. Life can be messy. Life can be dark. Life is filled with insecurities, doubt and fear. Life can be heartbreaking. But if you let love in, life can be a beautiful treasure. One word comes to mind with this book AMAZING. You can never outrun your past. You can choose to always run or face it and move on. Both Rex and Rynna have had things they want to forget happen to them in the past. Rex cannot move forward and Rynna chose to run away and never look back. But now Rynna is back stronger than when she left.

Rex's whole life is now Frankie Leigh. He doesn't allow anyone to come before her; until he meets Rynna. For some reason she is able to penetrate those walls he

A story that packs an emotional punch! Something happened eleven years ago to send Rynna running from her home and her grandmother, but now she's returned, and not under happy circumstances. I was a huge HUGE fan of the Bleeding Stars series. Each of those stories was more amazing than the last. I was so sad when it ended, that I just knew that anything else would fall flat. I.was.wrong! So very wrong. This book is written with the same beautiful, almost musical style that is all AL Jackson! Rynna has officially captured my heart and is my favorite heroine. I love second chance romances stories. This one was so much more. I connected with the characters, and felt their story. It was beautiful. My heart hurt for Rynna and for Rex too. Their stories tugged at your heartstrings. There were so many different feels in this book. My heart got invested, and the ending left a smile on my face. I can't wait to read more in this series! Wow! Amy solidified why she is one of my favorite authors!

On the heels of the fantastic Bleeding Stars series comes another series from her to look forward to! Set in small town America, these characters will steal your hearts.

I think A. L. Jackson could write instructions on how to put a bookshelf together and i would stay up all night reading it! Ok... so let's just say I was really scared to leave my world of Sunder and venture out into the new unknown of Amy's mind. This is a sweet, quick romance set in a small town in Alabama. Rynna ran from the town when she was 18 after a traumatic event. She returns to save her grandmother's bakery and finds a grumpy but beautiful single dad living across the street. Rex has demons and only has room in his life for his daughter, Frankie Leigh.

I guessed the twist early and also the suspense elements, but the romance and adorable Frankie were enough to keep me reading. I really enjoyed the side characters and hope they ge
