These books get worse and worse as you go. Only bothering to read these final ones to meet my Goodreads challenge for the year since I can knock them out quickly. I cannot believe the publisher continues to put out this garbage - a third grader can edit better than the editors that are actually getting paid. My mind is numb from reading the same language over and over and over. This 2 star rating is generous.

The content of the books is really interesting but as I said in previous reviews, we desperately need an editor. I am on to the last of the books, so the series has been interesting and kept my attention. However, the errors in the books seem to be more glaring as I go. Just not used to the quality in most books I read.

Ugh, I bought all these books so I feel like I need to read them...

Unfortunately, there are errors in every single book... MULTIPLE errors..... at least one it seems every 10 pages or so.

This book is full of them. Here are a few examples:

"He us rumored to kill his own men," Soku stepped forward and whispered into Volusia's ear, he too gaping up at the sight.

She had been driven her to cross the desert, to survive, for their sake, to rally an army to come back and help them.

Unable to resist, she

The series expands on additional characters and I wonder if it will all make sense in the end...is there an end?

I have the bundle, 13, 14, 15, so this is just a short review.

The characters are intriguing and well-developed, honour is all that matters and it is imaginative, though needs editing to smooth out the repetition, errors and typos.

Still enjoyable and a great story.

Recommended.

Jezus, it just keeps going and going. Every turn feels like something new is happening, whilst the 'old' stories aren't finished yet.

Morgan Rice continues to write with an excellent economy of words which create a non-stop pace of events such that it leaves you wanting (that is, in the positive way and not an unfulfilled way) when unexpectedly you come across the final page of each new installment of the story. Some stories we remember because they expose in such myriad detail the laws of the author's fantastical world that you can't help becoming a part of the story. Other good authors present such a breathtaking exposė of ...more

In this episode Morgan continues this very entertaining saga. Thor continues his search for Guwayne while Darius has to fight for survival at the Volusia arena, for entertainment of the empire population of the city. Gwendolyn finds the Second Ring, but loses most of her people on internal conflicts. Erec and Alistar struggle to escape the Empire fleet and at the end they receive an unexpected help. Godfrey, as usual, is in trouble, but also receive a help after escaping prison with his friends ...more

Not a stand alone book, part of a series and should be read in sequential order...worth the read! I just could not put it down. Some days i read for 8 hours straight. What a great fantasy ride. So much is happening in these books but the author writes it so it is easy to follow, like several little stories happening in one book. The characters I found to visualize, like and or dislike quickly. Descriptions were intense and in depth enough to make me feel as I were there in the story as a ...more

I downloaded the first book in this series as it was free and I love fantasy stories - knights, princesses, dragons, magic swords, oh my! - and as a disabled person, I do A LOT of reading. I have to say, it's not the best edited works I've ever read, but it isn't the worst either! (In fact, I would happily give them all 5*'s if not for the typos and mis-placed words) I was sucked in to the story of Thor, Gwendolyn and the other inhabitants of The Ring almost IMMEDIATELY, and as soon as I was ...more

In this book most of the characters are fighting for their freedom whether it be from their known enemies, magic or the elements. Characters we've gotten to know have been killed in battle while others have been saved from death through various means. We find the main characters are still seeking each other and their baby. The book ends with a foretold destruction on the horizon. As you can tell I don't do spoilers, I try to give you just enough to make you want to get the book to find out what ...more

This series is 15 books long and counting, and the story is more complex than ever. Rice does a great job of developing old characters and introducing new ones. A dream of mortals is no exception. This particular book is centred around Thor, Gwen, Darius and Volussia. As usual, the book is easy to read with short chapters and a fast pace. The best thing about this series is the fact that it caters to both adults and youth. I suggested that my son read the books after I finished the first two in ...more

Hoping this is going to end soon!

Hoping this is going to end soon!

Okay, I've stuck with this series through thick and thin, praying for some semblance of closure, and yet the story just never seems to end! Again Ms. Rice leaves us hanging with unfulfilled questions and what ifs, and I'm not sure what she is thinking. Wow, 15 and 16 coming soon! Does this story ever end?? I've struggled with the bad editing, misspelled words and wrong words all together, and if this doesn't end at #16 I believe I

So I had to wait to update my status on these books as my internet was down for a couple days. Any way. I have completed the whole series and I rather enjoyed reading it. I did notice that a good editing job was needed in places. That is the only bad thing I can say. I can't wait for my grandson to read these books. I know he will love them. I am so looking forward to starting Morgan Rice's new series and I am excited for her to start writing another new series which takes of from The Sorcerer's ...more

Getting tired.

Although I do love the series, it is getting tiresome. We have too many storylines now occurring and too many twists for the real story to be told. I have loved Thor since the story began, but I once thought these books were about him and how came to be. Now after the last couple of books, it has lead away from Thor and to other characters. Morgan rice could make books off of these other characters she has incorporated into the last few books. I believe this is the reason their are

I really enjoy Morgan Rice's books, and this one was no different. She keeps me drawn into the story and wanting more.

I know there are some typos and grammar issues, but I rarely notice them because I'm so caught up in the story.

This series has a lot of characters that are interesting, and while I'm reading about one, I'm wondering what is happening with the others.

If you like intrigue, magic, battles, strange creatures, dragons, and a story line that keeps you wanting more, then I recommend

Continued captivating series

The Sorcerers Ring has been a totally captivating series. I hope it goes on forever. Gwen has reached her end, in the desert waste of the Empire. Thorgrin and his legion brothers have been captured by pirates. Eric and Alistair have been betrayed and captured by the Empire. Volusia has captured the capital of the Empire and slaughtered all of its governing body. I know it all sounds like gloom and doom but it keeps the heart pumping and the imagination building.

I panicked when I got to book 14 and couldn't find anything on a release date for book 15. I sent the author an email asking about it and she sent this book to me for free. The book is incredible. I love series and started with the Vampire Journals by Morgan Rice and loved them. When I couldn't find anymore good vampire series to read I figured I start the Sorcerers Ring. I'm so glad I did. It is probably the best series I've ever read. It takes you through every emotion and then some. I loved A ...more

This man name Thorgrin, wanted to rescue his son. But his son kept on being taken away from him every where he traveled. So he decided that no matter what he will rescue his son and he will fight anything that comes in his way. Then he traveled and fought and traveled and fought untill he almost got his son and then his son got taken away again.

The next book is coming out so there is no ending yet.

The three themes are: Strong, Willing, Determination.

Getting Shorter

Getting Shorter

The books are getting shorter! I have read every book in this series and they grab your attention and hold it. I am getting a little tired of being left hanging off of a cliff all the time, though. I agree with some of the other reviews. Let's end this thing. The grammar was better this time around, but could still benefit from a human editor.

I loved this book+!u would recommed it to anyone,,, I loved it because I Gwendolyn and are back together and Thor and the Legion leave again to find Guwayne. this time they are looking for Guwayne, but they miss him by a few momnets.
