This is the third book in the Perfect Match series. I have enjoyed them all, but I think this one was my favorite. Riley’s writing keeps improving and I liked that this was the steamiest book of the trilogy. You don’t have to read the other books before this one. While some of the characters from previous books are in this one, this story stands alone enough so you would not be lost. Personally, I would recommend reading them all, but only because it is an enjoyable series.

This book is Sasha’s

This third book in the Perfect Match series brings together two women with something in common. They both have used the services of Perfect Match in the past, but a series of near matches have left them feeling like there will never be a special someone for them to love. Sasha McCray is a full-time firefighter who moonlights for a catering company, helping to support her parents and their medical expenses. Abby Rossmore works as an accountant for a charity and moonlights as a reluctant heiress. ...more

I've just finished my third Fiona Riley book! BE PROUD OF ME. Hehe, kidding. Though, I do find it really fun to stay on top of a series this way.

So, at first, I was kind of hmmmmm about the firefighter angle. This makes me a terrible lesbian cupcake, but most uniforms don't do the most for me. That includes firefighter gear. They're so huge and impressive, yet intimidating and I can't help but think
Fiona Riley always gives us a good story. I can absolutely, unequivocally say I am a huge fan of her Match series. The first one was super romantic, the second adorably cute, the third well, awe holy hell it was HOT. Smoking hot!

Sasha McCray is a firefighter and sometimes bartender/waitress for a high-end catering company. She works her tail off to give her parents every penny she can. An accident involving a house fire decades ago left her father with a significant health issue that has compou

I first read these 3 books in late 2017 but didn't write reviews, so consider these second (or possibly third) reading reviews, all in one swoop, as I literally read one a day over the long weekend and don't wanna review each individually. Cool? Cool.

Miss Match: Sam and Lucinda, YES PLEASE. really fun titillating book about Samantha, a pro matchmaker and Lucinda, a dancer and PR exec extraordinaire. I'm a sucker for a femme/femme couple and these two do NOT disappoint. I couldn't help but be ch
Strike a Match really strike something in me. Throughly enjoyed reading Strike a Match and liked the writing style. Loved the banters between all characters - simply hilarious and full of witty sarcasm that I always seem to have a smile plastered on my face. My initial thoughts of the 2 MCs weren’t all that good and likeable. But both characters, Sasha and Abby, grew on me; what’s with the chemistry between them, sassiness and all. And to top it all, Strike a Match is one helluva HOT read - the ...more
4 Stars for Audio with the always excellent narrator, Melissa Sternenberg.

This is a re-read. I think listening to the book I got more pissed off at Abby for not telling Sasha about who her family was. Maybe because it actually goes slower than when I read so it felt like it went on too long? (I'm not a speed reader as some of you are). Nevertheless I enjoyed the re-read.

“Strike a Match” is the third book by Fiona Riley featuring characters involved with Perfect Match, Inc., and all three books have been narrated by Melissa Sternenberg.

This is my favorite of the three books, and I’ve already relistened to much of it during the last weeks, so you won’t be surprised by my 5* rating!

MCs Sasha the gorgeous firefighter and Abby the number loving secret millionairess are really fun characters, and make a terrific (terrific!) couple. Their banter is fun, their glass-bl

This is book number 3 of Fiona Riley's Perfect Match series, this time featuring hot firefighter Sasha and reluctant millionairess Abby. Even though it's ok to read it as a stand alone, you'll enjoy it more by reading the series chronologically. This book is entertaining, romantic and downright hot. The chemistry between the main characters is sizzling, the dialogues witty and the secondary characters add realism and entertainment to the story. Ms. Riley knows her craft and builds her characters ...more

I've enjoyed this romance very much, starred by two women that had appeared in the previous book of this series as a secondary characters. Abby, from a wealthy family that hides this fact, even by changing her last name, wary that women are atracted by her position more than by herself. Sasha is a woman that fights for her family under a difficult situation. Both women are strongminded, prided, independent but there is an atraction unstoppable between them. The story has some pasionate and hot s ...more

This is Riley’s third book in her Miss Match series. The couple in this book are Sasha McCray, a firefighter who is working extra shifts and for her co-workers catering company to help support her parents and Abby Rossmore, a millionaire (probably billionaire) heiress who tries to keep out of the limelight and heads her family’s charity foundation and head accountant. Although Samantha from Miss Match doesn’t formally match them up as clients, she does work behind scenes to facilitate the

In my opinion this is the best book of the series. The characters are more interesting and the sex scenes are very hot. I recommend it!

Finished this series in the sun at the waterside. As were the other two books, this was a nice light read for a relaxing day. Riley writes very well, her characters are nice and the romance is there plus some quite hot scenes.

This is the third book in the matchmaker series, and features Sasha, who showed up briefly as a past date of Shelley’s in the second book and Abby, who also dated Shelley, but wasn’t actually a character in that book.

This is a fun read for the most part, the characters are engaging and have great chemistry. The way their relationship unfolds is both sweet and fun, and includes some great banter. Both sets of parents are also lovely a
This book should come with an actual fire extinguisher.

Yes it's that HOT. Fiona Riley has been on a roll it seems. This is the third book in the "Perfect Match" series and just like book one and two this also gets a full 5* rating.

Where do I even start to try and explain just why this book is so good? Let's start with the chemistry between the two main characters. Have you ever felt seduced by a fictional character? I have because if Sasha was standing in front of me I would spontaneously combus

Like everyone said, this one is pretty steamy. For some reason i really like Abby, alot. I like her personality. She’s kind of adorable i think. The chemistry between the main characters were obvious. The dialogues were great. And i also like how Sasha’s family interact with each other. Quite emotional and heartwarming to me. Abby’s mom was also great. She’s funny and i like her alots as well. It’s nice to see that she is not portrait as those kind of rich evil mom that always wanted to pair her ...more
Sasha was a possible match for Shelley of the previous installment but that didn't quite work out. While working her second job for a catering company she meets Abigail and flirts outrageously but also puts her foot in it. So she has to do a whole log more than flirt with the accountant to get back on her good side.

I enjoyed this but I'm not sure I liked it much more than Unlikely Match. The chemistry was better but I struggle when the main characters are not entirely honest with each other. It

This is book 3 in the Perfect Match series. I loved all 3 books. If you haven’t read the 2 previous books I would start there. I do not think it is mandatory, but I believe the overall reading experience would be better. While all the books are romantic, they are all very different from one another. Riley really knows how to write romance, but can still keep it hot without over doing it. I love her characters, and how different they are but they fit well together. This is the third book in the Perfect Match series, but each story stands alone so you don't need to read them in order, in fact I still haven't gotten the chance to read the first one, and I've enjoyed books 2 and 3.

I really enjoyed the second book but I have to admit that I loved this one even more. I really liked the characters, the main ones and secondary ones, I wanted to know more about each one of them.

I highly recommend this one!

This is third in a series and you probably don't really need the others to immerse into this one. But I did appreciate knowing all the backstory and it was nice seeing those couples happy

This is a secret-keeping book. I kind of hate those because the only point to make a secret-keeping plotline is so that it can blow up and create drama. Most often, that includes a dark moment, which I also hate. I was hoping that Riley would avoid that, but I don't know why. Authors never do. The thing is, it m

This book was lovely and well-written and I truly did enjoy reading it. But it was really, really predictable.

I absolutely loved this book and the series.

We are back with the third and final book in the A Perfect Match series by Fiona Riley. Well hell… Strike a Match is probably one of the hottest and sexiest books I’ve read this year.

Fiona Riley knows how to write. It doesn't matter whether you want a classic love story, sweet coupling, steamy, erotic ones, she does it pretty good, and has shown it with this trilogy. In my world of favorite couplings, this book goes really high up the rankings. I was a great fan of Lucinda/Samantha from the first book and I thought Fiona Riley can't ever write another two characters that charming a

5 star narration for this audio book. And i was going to give the book 5 stars too, until the first makeup scene, where one main character takes the stage at a totally inappropriate time , to make her plea. I'm one of those people that gets incredibly embarrassed and uncomfortable when people make fools of themselves. Though, others might just find it sweet. I sat here saying "shut up. please just stop talking. omg how embarrassing"
From there it get cheesy . Still, a good 4 star book. 2 very li

Keep them coming!

This author has done it again. Sasha and Abigail have chemistry to last them a lifetime! I loved the way the author developed these characters, the supporting characters are adorable. Samantha and Lucinda make their cameo appearance on this book as well. I hope that there will be more stories about this charming matchmaker and her adventures with matching up couples in finding their soulmates. Well done!

So here's the thing with Fiona Riley's Perfect Match series: it's romantic, it's sexy, it's the kind of queer you don't see very often in lady-love romance, and it's got hands down some of the best exploration of family I've seen in queer fiction, period.

So, let me break that into bits for this particular book, the third in the series.

Romantic matchmaking can be a bit of a struggle to pull off, but Samantha, Fiona Riley's genius of making love matches, has an eye for the right couples, and each
I’ve been a fan of all of Fiona Riley’s leading ladies so far, but Abby and Sasha are my favourite! They’re both smart, funny, and sexy. Abby is kind and the literal opposite of a spoiled rich girl, just wanting to do what’s right and help people as much as possible. Sasha has a giant heart, working two jobs to help her parents with her dad’s medical bills and taking the little time she has left outside of work to actually help with his care when she’s able. Their chemistry crackles from the beg ...more

Was a 5 star book till the 70% mark. The ENTIRE time I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. As predicted it did just that. Seems the only tools in the tool box are generate this great thing, break it (not once but twice), then try and put it back together again.. That's very 2D and makes stories too predictable. I DNF'd book 2 and thought I was done with the series. To see Sasha back for book 3 I had seriously high hopes. By 90% I kinda lost interest.
