When Keira O’Malley was a child, she used to picture her perfect wedding. The flowers. The dress. Her husband. But nothing could have prepared her for saying “I do” to Dmitri Romanov—cold, domineering and always one step ahead of everyone else in the ever-shifting power plays of New York City. She agreed to his bargain to secure peace for her family, and she may want the b ...more

Years ago I found The Marriage Contract and experienced the sense of Katee Roberts putting herself out there in a different way then she had in the past. She had a solid following from all of her previous books and I had enjoyed them, too. But with this new endeavor, Roberts approached a bigger story... one with multiple Boston Crime Families, their politics and fights for dominance... and the men and women in those families.

I have been dying to get my hands on The Bastard's Bargain for what seems like forever. Dimitri is one of those characters that I just knew I would love to hate and I couldn't wait to see just how amazingly evil he could be.

I ended up loving Dimitri even more than I thought I would. He was still that jerk we were first introduced to, and that change, but we also got to see his more caring side whenever he was with Keira. I really liked that his character didn't cha

After reading Undercover Attraction I couldn't wait to get my hands on Dmitri's and Keira's book. I loved their interactions and the way they both knew how to make the other stop, think and feel had me drooling for The Bastard's Bargain.

And now having read their book, I can honestly say The Bastard's Bargain by Katee Robert is everything I was hoping for and more. I didn't want it to end! *sobs*

I received this book for free from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

If there was ever was a book that I could say I felt drunk reading, it would be this one. Like a fine liquor, I had to moderate myself and read this story in small doses, savor it. I didn't want to rush myself and miss anything. At times, I did feel totally overwhelmed by the story of addiction, control, and love. Did Keira and Dmitri's story do t

I was positive that there was no way that Katee Robert would get me on the side of Dmitri Romanov... nope. Not going to happen.

And then I actually read this book.

That said, this was probably my most anticipated in the series just because of the chemistry between Dmitri and Kiera. The way they fight and deny that anything is really happening between them is both frustrating and crazy hot. I can't even explain why, but it just was.

Katee Robert can write steam and she definitely gives us plen

Flawlessly written and completely captivating, The Bastard's Bargain by Katee Ropbert was a sexy and thrilling story that had me hanging on to every word. Robert effortlessly weaves an outstanding plot filled with hot sex, angst, action and suspense that will leave readers breathless. Keira and Dmitri's story was explosive and emotional, and a praiseworthy ending to the O'Malley series.

To say that I was excited for this book would be a complete understatement. I have loved each and every book in this series, and I count it as one of my favorite romantic series of all time. I went into this book with towering expectations, but I was also incredibly sad thinking about the fact that once I was done with The Bastard’s Bargain, this would be it for me and these characters. But what a book this was! I loved every book in this series, sure, but I firmly believe that Katee Rober

I loved this one so much. Dima was everything I was hoping for. Keira was feisty and broken and in need of a man like him.

This book has me at a loss for words, but only in that whole ‘Hello, book hangover.’ kind of way because this book was everything I could have hoped for when it came to Dmitri and Keira getting their HEA, as well as the finale to the series, and more. It was all kinds of smexy (not that I expected any less) mixed with a lot of heart, a touch of swoony heart twitterpating moments and a good dose of intrigue with a dash of crazy that had me savoring each word a

This was a fantastic ending to a wonderful series. The slow build-up of Dmitri Romanov and Keira O’Malley’s relationship throughout the series was intriguing and I was waiting for their story. They both are passionate people and their connection was explosive. Not to mention that this story was a nail-biter all the way through.

Dmitri Romanov is not a good man, he is by no means a likeable hero. In fact he is the perfect anti-hero, a villain, a cold-blooded killer, a dangerous and volatile loner,

This final book in the series is my absolute FAVORITE! Unexpected love found within the obvious attraction between Dmitri and Keira. So much passion between these two and growth for Keira’s character. All it took was a man to see her for the woman she was.

When it comes to both the Romance genre and Erotica genre, this novel was mediocre. Yes, it did have some steamy moments but overall, I wanted more from the story.

Admittedly, I read this book as a standalone instead of reading it for what it was: the sixth novel in a series. For some reason, I was under the impression that this book could be read as a standalone but I definitely wouldn't recommend others to follow my example.

The main characters within this particular novel may not be
Charlotte North has narrated the series and is the voice of the O’Malleys, Romanovs, Sheridans and the Hallorans. I was disappointed we had to wait so long for the audio, but equally determined to wait and it paid off in spades.

Set in the cities of Boston and New York, Dmitri Romanov has been a thorn in the O’Malleys side, unless it comes to Keira O’Malley, the troubled, feisty, foul-mouthed youngest of the O’Malley clan. Romanov is determined to have her, only she might end up having him.

THE BASTARD'S BARGAIN by Katee Robert is book Six in "The O'Malleys" series. This is the story of Keira O’Malley and Dmitri Romanov. I have read the previous book (and Loved it) but feel you can make this a standalone book if you choose to do so. Keira and Dmitri agreement to marry did start in the last book but this book takes off from there.
Keira being the youngest of the O'Malley clan was protected in someways and I thought left to her own on other ways. Keria has been going off the deep end

After a sleepless night, numbed by alcohol and weed, Keira O’Malley made her decision: now was the time to marry Dmitri Romanov. The O’Malleys would be furious when presented with the done deed, but it would stop the two crime families from warring; a bargain’s a bargain, especially when there’s another threat on the horizon.

I was nearly frantic to read Dmitri’s story; he had made an impression on me right from his introduction in the series, which is unusual for me, because I should not have l

I have read all of the titles in the series, and I am still a little surprised by how much I liked Dmitri, especially as he was essentially the villain through a lot of the first books, and still isn't the nicest of possible men in this one.

Keira and Dmitri are not a couple that you expect to work, and they are definitely a twist on the enemies to lovers as they are attracted to one another, and there is an interest is their families who a

Having read the latter half of the O’Malleys series, I really need to go back and read the first three books. Jumping into the series in book four was all well and good, but as I’ve continued to read the books I’ve realised I would have had even more enjoyment if I’d started with book one. Forbidden Promises was wonderful as a standalone novel, but there were a few references that left me wanting to know more. As soon as I spotted this, the final book in the series, was about to be published I just had to read it. This is the culmination of this enthralling story of the O'Malleys and the gangland mobsters they compete with for territory and power. It is a story of expectations, hidden agendas, murder, torture, death and romance. This story focusses on the youngest of the O'Malley siblings, twenty-one year old Keira who has never got over the murder of her beloved brother. She started drinking and taki ...more

Reading the rest of the books in this series, I would have never guessed that Keira and Dmitri's book would have even been in contention for series favorite. Dmitri always seemed so cold, so hard...such an evil bad guy. Sure, his interactions with Keira in the last few books was intriguing, but she was so damaged and hell-bent on self destruction, surely their relationship--and therefore their book--would be a disaster?

So. Wrong.

This book grabbed me from the first page and wouldn't let go. F
The Bastard's Bargain was everything I could possibly hope for!

In this conclusion to Robert’s The O’Malley series we finally get to see Dmitri and Keira together. I wasn’t a big Dmitri fan until the fifth book of this series, but after seeing him go all-out to protect Keira in Undercover Attraction I officially became a member of the Romanov fan club. I was sad to see this series end since it not only introduced me to Robert’s exceptionally provocative writing, this series has also given me some

The Bastard's Bargain is now my favorite O'Malley book, Keira is one empowered female and the way she was able to rise from the ashes and own her strength is a fantastic read. Okay and Dimitri isn't too bad himself.

The sixth book in The O'Malleys series rounds up the story line involving a group of organize crime families and their war. Here, we finally see that Keira has accepted Dmitri as her husband so that the war between the O'Malleys and the Romanov ends. But both Keira and Dmitri start t

Book 6 of the O'Malley family series - another 4 stars** I thoroughly enjoyed the books in the series - this last one being one of my favorites! I really bought into Dmitri and Keira's whole story and thought their chemistry had played out well over all of the 6 books. They were a great couple - the King and the Queen for sure!

As of this date it is the final book of the series. I wouldn't say the end of the book seemed like a finale, I am not sure what other characters the author would create fo

I love the O’Malley series by Katee Robert. This was the 6th book in the series and my guess the final book since all the characters have had a book. This was one of my top books I wanted to read in 2018 and I was not disappointed.

This book follows Keira the youngest O’Malley sibling and Dmitri who is the head of the Romanov family. The story picks up right where the last book left off with Dmitri taking Keira. Keira and Dmitri end up getting married quickly in th

I have been dying for Dmitri and Kiera's book for what seems like forever. Keira is the baby of the O'Malley's, the one they all protected. Dmitri has been the villain in this series since he was first introduced to us. But he was so much more than that.

I have been waiting for Dmitri's story and especially since it involved Keira the broken younger sister of the O'Malley family.

Keira's dramatic history of wildness, drugs and alcohol made her a character that I did not relate to nor did she appear to have anything in her character that drew me to her but Dmitri always held my attention.

With Dmitri I always felt he was more that what we saw and in this book the reader will be instantly drawn

Katee Robert left the best for last in The O’Malley Series in my opinion! I was fortunate enough to read two previous books in the O’Malley Series (The Wedding Pact book 2 Carrigan O’Malley/ James Halloran story & Forbidden Promise book 4 Sloan O’Malley/Jude MacNamara story) As in the first two books I read The Bastard’s Bargain had suspense, hot steamy sex, hot alpha males, and take no crap from those alpha males females except in the bedroom, well I should say Keira O’Malley was different than ...more

I've been dying to read Kiera and Dmitri's story for awhile and, I wasn't disappointed!! Katee Robert certainly delivered the goods!! Do you want Action, Drama and Romance? The O'Malley Series never runs short on any of the above!

Futures are decided for daughters by brothers and fathers. Kiera had more or less known she was headed for a loveless marriage. She knew she was just a bargaining chip to be used by her family. I felt that was only one reason why she acted out. She was a party girl and

I’ve enjoyed every Katee Robert book I’ve read. I’ve especially enjoyed The O’Malleys Series. Through the last couple books we’ve watched this relationship between Kiera and Dmitri develop. Both have acted like it was all a business deal to bring two dominate mob families together but it’s been obvious there was more to it for both of them.

Poor Kiera, with the artist’s soul, has been effected the most be the many wars the O’Malleys have been forced into. The grief over loss of a beloved brother
