Sexy musicians, friendly banter and some strong chemistry makes Dirty Like Brody a 5 star read to me.

The band Dirty’s manager, Brody, has a secret thing for Jessa Mayes, sister to his fellow band mate. Keeping his feelings under wraps for all these years was hard but now that he has been put in charge of Jessa’s attendance and behavior at her brother’s wedding…its nearly impossible.

Jessa has been running from Brody, the biggest mistake of her life, since that one day that sent her running in the

I’ve become a fan of Jaine Diamond and her boys and girls in the rock band Dirty. This is Brody and Jessa’s story and it is written with the drama that seems to usually follow bad boys in famous bands. Dirty was a band made up of childhood friends who are more like family than anyting else and like most families along with their love comes a lot of heartache. Brody was always their friend; just not one of the friends with musical talent. His talent came in the form of being their manager and he ...more

I’m LOVING this series....seriously LOVING!!!

However this one was just ok for me BUT this book is pivotable in this series bc a lot of info is involved. These characters....ALL of them are freaking ridiculous GOOD!

I just wish these characters were less in their head/past and more in the present with the dialogue.

Either way I’m continuing....LOVING THIS!

Dirty Like Brody (Book #2) by Jaine Diamond

Jessa & Brody’s story

Jessa ran away from her family and herself at the age of 18 to pursue modeling. Jessa has done very well in her career choice however leaving Brody behind was hard but necessary.

Brody never understood why Jessa could not commit to him but he gave her the space she needed. But 6 ½ years of silence on Jessa end was just too much to take and it pissed him off.

Jessa has to overcome her demons and face her actions by telling Brody and ev

I wondered why Brody [Band Manager] was always all business and never one to let down his facade?? That said I guess the reason behind that is that is heart belonged to Jessa and it was his own dirty secret he kept only to himself. Jessa is that younger sister of Jesse and basically a family member of the band. We are introduced to her character in the earlier books and find out she use to write for the band and is now a model. What we don't know is that both Brody and Jessa are hiding feelings ...more

They are so good together. Lots of love and Passion, they were made for each.

I received a copy of this book directly from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Jaine Diamond is quickly becoming one of my favorite contemporary romance authors. Dirty Like Brody was another great addition to the Dirty Series. The characters were complex and vivid. They were complicated and realistic, even though they lived in this larger than life world of modeling and rock stars, motorcycle clubs, and drug addicts. It was so easy to sink into their world and be drawn in by

Brody Mason has been with the band, Dirty, from the beginning. He’s their long term manager who’ll do just about anything to keep the band happy, performing, and out of trouble. Especially when that trouble has the potential to break up the band.

Jessa Mayes is coming home to celebrate the marriage of her brother, Jesse. She’s been away for six years—and for those years she’s tried to forget all about the past, all about how her dream to be a song writer ended, how she let the love of her life go

I love a good rock star romance and here we get the romance and then some. We get Jesse & Katie's wedding and Jessa & Brody's truth of their life. In the first we met Brody, who is the band's manager and Jessa is Jesse's little sister and she is a songwriter with other band members but she can't stay part of the band so she runs from the idea. She becomes a model and for six and a half years she feels guilty about a lot of things. So now it is time for her to come clean with Brody and h

Love This Series

I was hooked from the first book Dirty Like Me and couldn't wait to read about Jesse's sister Jessa. In that book we are given little information on why Jessa has stayed away from her brother, her friends and most of all Brody for six and a half years when she returns for her brothers wedding to Katie only to find a very cold and pissed off Brody waiting for her at the airport. Brody was very hurt by Jessa's disappearing and total radio silence since leaving to become a successf

The Delight
A love that started while still in elementary school grows, but doesn't necessarily roll into the greatest of loves. Communication isn't a strong suit between these two and hardship abounds. Choices are made, some good, some bad and the story takes on some dark edges. Passion isn't the problem, but the only glue that seems to draw them together.

The story starts with Jessa being saved by Brody from bullies. A sweet kind of hero worship love. They meet again when she is trying

Wow! This one, (Book #2), kept me turning the pages to solve the mystery of why Jessa walked away from Brody, and stayed away for 6 1/2 years. Jessa broke Brody's heart and shredded her own. I thought she was hiding a secret pregnancy but Jessa's secret is so much worse. Didn't see THAT coming!

I love this one just as much as the first one, Dirty Like Me. Again Jaine Diamond's writing is killer, making you really empathize with Jessa and Brody's longing for each other. As in the first my only critique would be it's a little slow paced with a fair amount of repetition. Other than that, definitely recommended.

This one was good, but not as good as the first one. I liked Jessa but didnt love the anger issues and jealously Brody had. I found the end a bit underwhelming. Overall I still loved the rock and roll world and continued characters from the first book, so I'll definitely be reading the next few in the series!

Jessa Mayes turned her back on Dirty; the hottest rock band ever to escape her past. However, she isn't sure the glamorous life of being a model is what she wants anymore. Not when she comes face-to-face with the man she's always wanted after six years apart. But finding happiness with Brody Mason means facing the past and confessing the painful secret she's kept from everyone. Will she have the strength to admit why she chose to run rather than tell Brody the truth, so the two of them can have

Dirty Like Brody is the third book and second full-length novel in Jaine Diamond’s Dirty series. Dirty is the name of a rock band that hits it big. They are now dealing with the many issues that rock bands face; relationships, drugs, a lot of money quick, etc. Each book in the series examines the life of a band member and his/her attempt to adjust to the fame, enjoy life in the spotlight and find a lasting, loving relationship.

I can’t decide if this is my favorite of the first two novels (I

I've reviewed this new-to-me author's book, last year, and while I enjoyed it--it was lackluster in the emotion department. And as you all know I live in a glass case of emotion--especially when it comes to reading. I need to feeeeel the book, not just read it. And by George, I think she's got it.

So, in Dirty Like Brody--we have a second chance at romance type of read. Jessa's walked out on Brody, and she hasn't been back since--well since now. Her brother is getting married, and she must be the

Oh man, this was QUITE the ride. Book one, Dirty Like Me, ends with an epilogue from Jessa’s point of view. About Brody. And oh my god it sucked me in immediately. I had to know what happened between them and what their future would hold. This story satisfied my every desire.

Oh sweet, self-sabotaging, furious Brody. What a perfect alpha male. I think I may have actually physically drooled while reading this. Brody and Jessa have known each other since she was eight and he was thirteen. He was t

I remember bits and pieces about Jessa from book one, Dirty Like Me, but I never would have guessed her significance in Dirty if it wasn't for this book. Her story is not one I would have expected, which made it all that much more interesting. She has secrets....oh so many secrets...and not only will she learn to overcome them, but to finally admit all her failures to the people whose opinions will make or brea

Another 5 Electrified Guitars for Dirty Like Brody.

This series is so good. Just so, do, so...good. great. Fantastic. Sexy. Angsty. Dramatic. Hilarious. Sexy. Loving. Loyal. Sexy. Good.

Looking forward to Seth's book...BUT I STILL WANT MORE ZANE AND MAGGIE. At least we got a touch more of the story in Brody....but I still NEED more. ;-)

Okay, Brody and Jessa. They Rock. They are stupid when it comes to each other - but that is usually what makes second chances work. They have so much chemistry it

Janie has a way to suck you in and keep you reading! This book was amazing!! I couldn't put it down. She writes with such passion for her characters. Dirty Like Brody is filled with such passion, love, and misplaced trust.

Jessa has finally returned home, but for older brother Jesse's wedding. She has been gone for six and half years, traveling the world as supermodel. She is insanely talented when it comes to music, whether it be singing beautifully or writing songs from her soul.

Frustrating, but sexy

Jessa and Brody’s story was definitely different from Jesse and Katie’s in book 1. Theirs was much more frustrating and a lot darker. I was actually on edge and freaking out that Jessa’s past was going to be a lot more devastating than what it was, so part of me is actually slightly relieved, even as I feel horrible for what she went through. Part of me also feels bad for Seth, because even though I see how he was wrong because she was underage, Brody wanted her and fooled

Well you guessed it, this book is about our favorite Dirty manager, Brody. What is more beautiful, and heart-wrenching, than seeing someone loving someone else so long and so much that they are piece of them even when they have not seen each other in 6 years? Absolutely nothing. Brody is a sweltering and broody hottie that has only loved one lucky lady, but the road has not been easy. In fact, it was almost as if there was a freaking cave in on their journey.

The lucky lady that has his heart is

will be for the series.

I am so happy that I found this author.
The rockstar genre is one of my favs, and
this author did it right. This series follows
the men of "Dirty" and all of their trials and
tribulations, and LOVES of being a rock star.
It starts out with Jesse, and he is everything
I want in my hero. He is a mixture of sex,
broodiness, loyalty and I loved reading about
him. He was the perfect start to this series.
Once he meets Katie, and he is done. I lo

“we all do stupid shit we’re not proud of. Perfection is an illusion. Even beauty is kind of an illusion. And that’s what you are when you model. An illusion. But here’s the thing: you’re a real person. You deserve a real life. So go out there and live it already, and stop worrying what everyone else thinks. You don’t need to be perfect or even beautiful all the time. Just love yourself and the rest of it will figure itself out.” 1 likes
