As always, Bill Jamison and Cheryl Alters Jamison write with pizzazz and power. Their recipes are well thought out with many contributed or adapted from cooks and chefs around the country. I love the history that is in their books. The background they provide is great for conversation and helps you to appreciate the dishes more. What a great book. Got it used but would it would have been well worth the new price. I will be on the lookout for more of their great books. Next up to buy is Smoke and Spice.
