Dr. Ruberu turned to God for peace at her lowest point. He completely changed her livelihood, her purpose and her life. If you are searching for an inspirational story with a few pearls of advice that may change your life...this is for you.
This pro-life OB/GYN seems to have her heart in the right place – I was moved by her description of appealing to women outside of abortion clinics. I'm not really the target audience for this book because of its religious content, but I enjoyed reading about her journey. I think some of the "signs" that she took to be from God are really "comb sense" – a friend of mine explained how if you start looking for combs, they seem to be everywhere – if you're primed to believe that something is a sign, you notice it even if it's not appearing more often than it normally would. So I don't give much credence to that – I'm also not sure that the pill really causes embryos not to implants. There is a lot of conflicting information – I did enjoy the book though, and I'm glad Dr. Monique Ruberu is practicing because she seems like a really compassionate person.
Autobiographical summation of God's work in the author's life during the year of her greatest transformation. Clean, clear writing. Easy to follow and believe.
