Because she can't control and can hurt one of it own kind and Allies if left with them and she got trauma. But mother of Anissa , appeared, whom should be dead by now according to things that laws were made. As elemental witch, witch are not allowed to be with Vampire or half blood as power is uncontrollable and dangerous to life of clan and people around.

I actually read the whole series 1-9. The stories are fast moving and interesting...a break from the heavier kind of reading that I usually do. The author chose to make each chapter feature a viewpoint from a different character. The challenge for me with that was keeping everybody straight and keeping straight how they were related to one another....if I took a couple of days off from reading it would really take me a while to get back into who was who with who.
I would recommend the books, which is why I gave the series five stars.

I am really getting into this series now and am having to pace myself by reading other things in between because the story is getting intense. I am very happy to recommend this as a worthy series to get your teeth into if you have the time and want to immerse yourself in some excellent fantasy.
I like this author a lot she writes well and her work is not too heavy it is just right.

Wow! So many twists and turns! Some swear words I skipped over to read. Plus a mix up of names in the last chapter I picked up and confused me for a second.
Hopefully the next books show more of what's going on and be more clear to the characters and the reader. Right now all the secrets and mystery of what's going on is driving me crazy!
