Art Deco Interiors in Color

Rate this book
Dover Publications Softcover with 62 Colored Illustrations and 47 pages. Approx 9 1/2 x 12". The 62 watercolor drawings are from seven important and rare French design portfolios of the twenties and contain work of noted architectural firms and more than a score of artists. The majority of plates in this book were originally produced by the pochoir process, a hand-coloring stencil technique used to make many of the great designs, fashion and architectural albums of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. Art Deco movement did not stop in the 1920's and 30's. It is still very important for present-day design.
