I loved the versatility of structure & the inclusion of fact and passion for the author’s home and people. It was vulnerable yet strategic. Pretty incredible work. This book has gems for the reader AND the writer.

I would recommend this book to all poets and to anyone who is lacking a FULL in depth knowledge of Puerto Ricans and the issues taking place against natives of New York and a lot of minorities.

I rated it a 4 because the book could have flowed a little better beginning to end for me, but it was still an incredibly worthy read! Love. Much love to Bonafide Rojas.
