Cara North inherits a beach house named Harbor House from her grandfather, horror novelist, Hadrian Coyle. She enlists the aid of her friend, mystery writer Annie Kirk, to help locate an unpublished manuscript that would be worth a small fortune if sold on today’s market. Annie is alone at Harbor House except for Brendan Marshall, the caretaker. Marshall is doing research for a biography on Coyle and is stunned by Annie’s resemblance to Coyle’s long-lost daughter, Miranda. Is there a connection? I got this book at a library book sale for ten cents. after reading it, I can accurately say that I've gotten my money's worth.. lol all jokes aside, this book was an easy read but not much of a mystery. The author gave big hints that made it very easy to assume how things would turn out. Would I recommend it? Nah.

I love Norma's books. Nice mysteries, interesting characters and they usually take place on the beautiful North Oregon Coast that I love so much.
