Four White Roses is wholesome, country romance that settles right in your heart and makes you smile.

Richard Lee Junior finds himself returning to rural Pennsylvania to handle the affairs after his grandmothers passing. Haunted by his granny, being tasked to uncover a century old mystery and having to locate a relative he never knew existed, the last thing Richard needs is to fall in love. But he just can’t resist that sweet girl he knew many years before and Richard may soon discover that home is where your heart is. And if Torrie Larson holds Rich’s heart, he may have to call Hickory Valley home.

Ms. Davis’ writing is classic and timeless, as she crosses multiple genres in this novel (mystery, romance and a touch of paranormal). The paranormal aspect is more faith based than anything else and reminded me of William P. Youngs, The Shack.

A great book which by the way, was a finalist in the "Book Excellence Awards" by Literary Excellence Incorporated!

There's No Place Like Home

Rural Pennsylvanians actually sound more like Wisconsin than West Virginia, but the various drawls affected by narrator Bob Johnson were perfectly effective and provided exactly the right ambiance for this tale of a powerful Texas attorney returning to his roots and discovering "There's No Place Like Home!"

Review:
Thank you to @bookinfluencers for picking me to participate in this paid promotion tour for this book. Per Campaign Details a Review was not required but appreciated. This was my first time reading a book by Judy Ann Davis so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed it this one and connected with the storyline instantly.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Richard, Estella and Torrie were my favorites throughout this book in more ways then one for different reasons.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Hickory Valley, PA especially when the scenery was described.

I do wish this book was part of a series cause i'd love to see the storyline between Rich, Torrie and Estella to evolve overtime.

Overall a good Contemporary Romance, Historical Fiction about a man who heads home to sell his late Grandmother's house. Can't wait to read more by Judy in the future!!

Four White Roses by Judy Ann Davis is set in contemporary rural Pennsylvania. Successful lawyer Rich returns to his grandmother's home to prepare it for sale, bringing his daughter. He expects it to take a month, max. He doesn't expect to encounter his grandmother's ghost, requesting he find a missing relative and jewels.

Torrie Larson gives Rich a ride when he arrives, almost making it to the farmhouse but not quite. She's a resourceful single mom, but she keeps that information to herself. Rich and Torrie just happen to keep meeting in order to get their errands done, and Rich just happens to find out Torrie has a daughter. Of course the two daughters hit it off well, and so do the adults. Of course they each resist the mutual attraction for all the practical reasons: he's leaving in a month, they're from completely different economic levels, etc.

It takes Torrie and Rich together with their daughters to solve the mysteries. By the time they clear all the barriers to a relationship, they are willing to acknowledge their love and change their lives. A very sweet tale, heartwarming entertainment.

Well this sat way too long on my TBR list. I've had this book since 2017 and as I'm trying to read from my oldest backlog, I picked this one up. Unsure if I would enjoy it as my reading tastes have seemingly changed over the years, I'm happy to say, I loved it!

The wealthy, handsome widower returns to the small town to take care of his grandmother's home and ready it to sell. But here comes along an old fried of his summers past whose all grown up now with a child of her own.

Watch the love bloom in this one! It's a sweet romance that I totally fell for! I need to check out more books by this author that I've been shamelessly sleeping on!

A wonderfully sweet romaintc suspense. Rich comes back to sort out his grandmother's estate, along the way he and Torrie meets again. Torrie has a secret that she does not want him to know about, so naturally this is a hindrance to the budding romance. Add to this a interfering ghost, a blackmailing banker and a lost treasure. All ingredients to make this a gripping book.

I have not read books by Judy Ann Davis before, and I have to say I loved every minute. The more I read the more I fell in love with the characters and their story. It had all the elements. A hint of mystery lots of intrigue and a bit of ghostly interference as well as romance.

Highly recommended for all who loves a good romantic suspense.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with the opportunity to read and review this book.

This is a wonderful sweet romance that has Rich Redmond and his young daughter returning to Pa. to settle his grandmother's estate. When his grandmother's ghost wants him to find his half sister and a cache of jewels hidden by his great great grandmother he wonders about his mental state. He meets and rekindles a childhood friendship with Torrie, a single mother. A nice old fashioned love story with a touch of mystery and a ghostly nudge of love for her grandson. The title is so neatly wrapped up in the story and the symbolism is beautiful. Judy Ann Davis gives you a nice feel good story that moves along with humor and the token bad man.

I loved this book!

Judy Ann Lashinski delivers a wonderful story about a second chance and being brave enough to grab it. Throw in a the ghost of a grandmother who doesn’t take kindly to her grandson’s failure to work fast enough and the result is a delightful and at times lighthearted look at love. There is still enough of the darker side of human nature and an unsolved mystery or two to keep this from being a fluff piece. I like Lashinski’s ability to weave a story that keeps you engaged enough to read it in one sitting and be glad for it!

What a fascinating story involving family and friends who with the help of a feisty but lovable ghost discover secrets, watch out for each other, embrace life, take a chance, deal with hardships, and a common enemy. Romance, mystery, twists & turns, family love and friendships, and humor make this story one that was so intriguing it was hard to put down till I finished -- absolutely loved this whole family and their story.

Thoroughly enjoyable read. A prominent attorney returns home to discover an impossible love, yet one that cannot be denied. Together the two encounter mysteries, search for an unknown relative and long hidden jewels. Throw in Grandmother Gertie, a bossy ghost with her own agenda and this novel goes to a new level.

Four White Roses is a lovely, wholesome romance with a mystery thrown in. In fact this novel had a little bit of everything (except explicit sex)- a knight in shining armor , a feisty damsel in distress, the town bully, two adorable daughters, and a ghostly appearance. Somehow it all works and makes a perfect story for the those who believe in second chance love.

I absolutely adore a good romance and throw in mystery and a ghost and I’m hooked. Four White Roses did not disappoint. The conflict between the characters was well-developed and I was rooting for Torrie and Rich, and their daughters, to find their Happily Ever After. The humor in the story was a nice touch. Highly recommend!
