As Station Seventeen’s rookie, Luke Slater knows his fire and EMS training will be both rigorous and risky, but he never imagined having to partner up with the one woman he wants to keep at arm’s length most of all. Quinn Copeland is as wide-open as Luke is reserved. He has no interest in letting the sweet and sexy paramedic rock his hard-earned control. But the need for c ...more

Hot and exciting. Kimberly Kincaid’s latest novel has a great balance between all the feels. There’s slow burn sexiness, wonderful banter and camaraderie, and a whole lot of heart stopping drama. I was biting my nails one moment, smiling and fanning myself then next. In Too Deep was a hard book to put down as I kept turning pages with its fast paced, gripping plot.

Luke Slater has spent the last ten years taking care of his sister and grandmother while building armor around himself to ke

I was thrilled to be getting the next Station Seventeen book. So far, Kimberly Kincaid impressed me with her writing skills, her knowledge of the profession and with the way she writes romantic suspense. Yes, there were some liberties taken with protocol but, it was for the best. Sometimes you have to overlook something for the greater good. But, I wasn’t the least bit surprised that In Too Deep impressed me in the same way that Skin Deep and Deep Burn did.

I loved Luke and Quinn’s stor

The crew from Station Seventeen are back and Kimberly Kincaid delivers one hell of a ride again. One that will leave you breathless, hot and bothered and creating a draft from turning the pages so quick. This book was flipping fantastic, I loved it so hard.

Are you ready for rookie Luke Slater and paramedic Quinn Copeland’s story? Who are we kidding of course you are. Trust me dear reader this is a book you don’t want to miss.

This was the first of the series that I wasn't super into. The romance did not give me all the feels like the previous books. I think it's time for me to take a break from this series.
Kimberly Kincaid’s Station Seventeen isn’t just a bunch of firefighting men who go out to battle the blazes, although the mention of bunker gear, sexy times involving dirty firemen and fire-heroics is probably enough for many readers. But Kincaid serves up a hefty dose of good ol’ romantic suspense where characters from law enforcement and emergency responders mingle and rally around each other to get the plot going. Not only is this right up my smelly, cat-littered alley, but I love it when a s ...more

An awesome addition to Station Seventeen. In this story we meet Luke, rookie firefighter fills in on the ambulance. His partner is Quinn, a kick butt paramedic who is also very sexy. They run some awesome calls including a call with a gang leader, Ice. Ice, soon threatens their lives. I must say he is just evil!!

Kimberly Kincaid delivers a story that has plenty of romance, intrigue and plenty of suspense that will keep you turning the pages. She shows the true brotherhood of the fire departmen

Things really heat up at Station Seventeen when rookie fire fighter Luke Slater fills in for an injured EMT and gets to spend a lot of time with the very sexy EMT Quinn Copeland. He needs to stay focused on the job and not the woman. but fighting the attraction between them proves to be difficult. especially after a horrifying call has them in a gang leader's cross hairs.

In Too Deep is a fantastic read filled with a great romance and a ton of action and suspense. Definitely a book for the must r
This is the third book in the series but I found it quite easy to read as a stand-alone.

Luke Slater is a rookie fire-fighter on Engine 17 in the city of Remington. On the side he is also studying to be a paramedic.

Quinn is the second seat in the Remington ambulance attached to Engine 17, when her partner Parker injures his hand and is off duty for a while Luke is rostered as temporary replacement. On pretty much their first call they are kidnapped by members of the Viper gang and forced to look

Romantic Suspense is a hard genre to write and to read at times. There are factors that every single one gets judged upon:

Romance to suspense/mystery ratio. How much time does the author spend on the romance? How much time is spent developing the suspense/ mystery? Many times, a reader will encounter an instalove situation, and while that can be enjoyable, some readers feel that it’s just not realistic. For me, an enjoyable romantic suspense book must have a well- developed conflict and bad guy.

A new romantic thriller from Kimberly Kincaid and the firefighters and medics of Station Seventeen. Quinn Copeland is partners with Parker Drake on the ambulance and Luke Slater is a rookie firefighter finishing up his EMT training. His goal is to work the ambulance, and after a Parker has a freak accident he gets the chance. Luke and Quinn have been circling each other with hidden feelings, both with heartache in their background. Danger, suspense, and mind numbing fear bring them together. Now ...more

I enjoy Kimberly Kincaid's books and series I have read. The Station Seventeen series is about a fire station and paramedic teams. This is a natural environment for adventures, as well as investigations occurring due to arson. The world provides a great setting with many fit young men and women, and with a real life feel of ordinary people trying to help others and save lives. No wonder it's a hot bed of romance! There's also the camaraderie of the team.

Paramedic Quinn Copeland thinks of her station mates as family, but working alongside Station Seventeen rookie, Luke Slater, is different. For one, she doesn't think of him as a brother; and when they find themselves in the crosshairs of a brutal gang leader, she finds herself trusting Luke more than anything. So, with lives on the line and impossible choices to make, will Quinn do the right thing for everyone so she and Luke can have a chance at happy ever after; or will their fears of losing e

A perfect blend of romance and suspense!

I wasn't actually expecting the amount of suspense that was here--several scenes literally had me on the edge of my seat throughout; obviously I was too distracted by that fantastic cover (and Luke) to have read all the way down on the synopsis. Or maybe I did read all the way down, but just forgot--again, I'm blaming that cover. The muscles! The blue eyes!

Either way, I'm not complaining.

I loved Luke and Quinn, both of whom live to take care of people whi

Luke Slater is the newest rookie at Station Seventeen, and no one really knows anything about him. He keeps everything close to the cuff, as his past has taught him if people don't get too close, then it won't hurt when something happens to him. And he has a deep compulsion to take care of everyone, albeit at arms length. But even though he lets no one too close, somehow, Quinn, a paramedic scales those walls easily. Quinn Copeland's station mates are her family, and she would rather die than le ...more

Oh My, What A Rush!

I don’t want to compare any of the Seventeen books because they all are amazing but I have to say, by far, In Too Deep is the best!

I couldn’t read fast enough to satisfy my brain! Luke is a real enigma that is slowly revealed in the most intricate manner. As his personality is revealed he becomes every woman’s ideal man..tall, dark and utterly handsome along with extremely motivated and intelligent. He is also very sensitive to those around him. Quinn is a very dedicated param

I love this series by Kimberly Kincaid and this book in particular has everything you could possible want in what I would call a hybrid of contemporary romance and romantic suspense!!
Between the sexual charged energy between Luke and Quinn, to the nail biting edge of your seat suspense in the terrifying events that occur in this book it was positively amazing!

Smoking hot and suspenseful read

Veteran Paramedic Quinn and rookie firefighter Luke are go on a call that isn't what it seems and puts everyone in danger. Moving at an incredibly fast pace, keeping me on the edge and written in multiple POV including from the bad guy made this easy to fallow and easily one of my favorites in the series. Rookie firefighter Luke Slater has also been getting paramedic training, and Quinn Copeland is helping him with the latter. When Quinn has to replace her partner as lead paramedic, she chooses Luke because they’re short-staffed and she knows Luke is up to the task. Quinn has had a crush on Luke ever since she saw him, but he is so closed off, she doesn’t know if he even likes her. Oh but he does. On their first call together, things go terribly wrong: they’re met at the scene by an armed man who ...more

In this thrill a minute suspense story Kimberly Kincaid shakes up a whole lot more than just shift schedules. When her usual partner suffers an on-the-job injury, Quinn Copeland ends up paired with the rookie she's been lusting after ever since he arrived at the Firehouse. When their first solo call goes drastically wrong, their lives and those of everybody they love will hang in the balance.

I really want some home fries… and a hot firefighter/paramedic … after reading Kimberly Kincaid’s 3rd book in the Station Seventeen series, In Too Deep! This is the first book I’ve read in the Station Seventeen series, and I absolutely loved it!!! The suspense elements had me on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen next. Quinn was a kick butt heroine. She didn’t let anyone intimidate her, and even with her fear of what was going on she did what she felt was best, and came out on top. It was awesome seeing her bring Luke out of his shell, and how their relationship grew. Luke is sexy, broody, and has a bit of a vulnerable side. ...more

WOW!! I think my heart rate needs to come back to normal after such an emotional journey. I loved steamy chemistry between Luke and Quinn and the nail biting suspense was perfect! I also enjoyed learning a little more about Quinn and Luke's backgrounds which were heartbreaking and affirming. If they would let me, I would give this story 10 stars because that is what it deserves!

Luke's philosophy is to defer when someone will ask him a question that he doesn't want to answer. It's always worked well for him until Quinn and him are kidnapped. Then it's harder to keep things from Quinn than he thought it would be. Where as Quinn has a harder time trusting and sharing. Which makes it even more sweeter when she finally does open up to him.
In too Deep, kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning until the very end.
